• Question of Keywords in Lightroom5

  Ran across a problem with keywords in Lightroom 5 and asked if anyone had some advice. When I export an image with existing keywords they showup in the properties of the file when I open the new image in Windows Explorer. When I re - import this new file in Lightroom, I find that none of the original keywords are visible. This had not been a problem in previous versions of Lightroom - I was wondering what is happening here.

  The most likely cause is that you use a metadata preset that is inadvertently removing key words.

• A question about keywords

  Is it possible in the settings... or somewhere, so that when you open Organizer (of PrE9) rather than start with a list of hierarchy of keywords - it could open to keyword cloud poster? I'm not too keen on the method of hierrarchy...

  I had some experiences in the organizer of 9 elements.

  1 - Yes, when you close the Organizer , and he always seems to come next time with the grid of the miniature AND the Panel tags on the right is defined on the view hierarchy. Then, you click on the view of the cloud icon.

  (1) is it better to put spaces after commas in meta keyword tags? example of black, yellow, blue or black, yellow, blue--> no spaces?

  (2) every page on your site wib to contain keywords? If so, should they be the same keywords?

  (3) If a keyword has two words in there, it's beter to separate them in the meta tag? example "Laurelwood inn, Bellwood inn" or "Laurelwood, Bellwood, Inn" - >

  Every page on your site must contain relevant keywords. Not only spammed it however.

  What meta tag do you use...? 'Meta keyword tag' was so hard that google is not really recognize most spammed. Some say that Yahoo still therefore address the issue. I would focus more on the 'meta description' and 'title tags'.

  Look in the different types of keywords for example longtail and short tail, I think that longtail would be preferable.

  Capital letters should be used for structure of the content, the same way that normally use you.

• Question Lightroom keyword

  Greetings. I use the 64-bit version of LR3.3 on Windows 7, but I had this problem since the upgrade. I have a long list of keywords. I find if I develop my keywords keyword to the low third list are not selectable, even though it shows how many photos is marked with them. If I open a metadata filter and scroll down to the bottom of my keyword column I get the same results. However, if I do a search and specify a key word in this way it will bring up the photos. I have not found anything in the forums regarding this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  I read somewhere on this forum that there is a problem with long lists. I had to do with the quantity maximum lines that can, but put in a window. You can to the nesting of use (continued) key words.

• CS4 Bridge - Keywords + backup/restore

  I have two questions to keywords in Bridge CS4.

  1. when I put a keyword on a photo, this keyword is placed in the file only or also in the photo (NEF) file?

  2. I did a lot of keywords and have a long list in the Keywords tab. If I'm ever format C: it is then

  Bridge should automatically play these files sidecar as long as you have with the. NEF files. Also, make sure that you change only the names of these files using bridge or link between them will be broken

• Problems with keyword activity

  Hello world! I was wondering if anyone has an answer to my problem, because I do not have. I developing a question cloze/keyword in flash activity where the user types a certain "keyword" in a text box, and then clicks a button to validate if they typed in the correct word. First I set up a string on the first line of code that runs when the user clicks the submit button. Then the following line performs a function to convert what they typed in the box in another string variable and then compare it to the variable stored in a simple if/else statement.
  
  I ran a few commands trace to try to debug the script, but they all indicate it should work. The code is attached to this message.
  
  Any intervention on it would be very useful as I google the heck out of it and all I can find is a questionable software that generates these activities flash cheese for a price that I would not pay when I should be able to code myself.

  Well Yes. The problem is that somehow at the end of the textField you get you a line invisible/transport back of some sort. Don't know exactly how it is getting there.

  If I do my text entry field, a type of single line (assuming that the textfield object is placed in the authoring environment) I don't seem able to get (of less easily) back in this area. But if I do the multiline type I can get back in if I press the return/enter key or if I left it there for when I created the text field.

  Perhaps the best way to get rid of it is to set the text property of the field to nothing when you initialize your code.

  Before the user has a chance to type in the field will make sure it's not a secret invisible back - or more than one.

  A combination of single-line and setting the property is probably the best choice.

• Is it possible to separate a video stream into two video streams?

  I do not know how to ask this question with keywords, but I essentially have the opposite problem to superimpose two videos in one. I use OBS to capture a stream video computer game and a webcam to feed at the same time. However, my webcam stream is lagging behind my video stream of the computer. I want to reframe the section video (somehow) webcam and manipulate separately from the video game.

  Thus, the videos are superimposed by the SIB program

  

  I don't know if it is even possible to create and manipulate two videos of a video like this, but any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

  If I understand correctly, you want to keep the webcam shot overlay, but just change the "timing" to synchronize the webcam with gameplay, right?

  Equip your video clip V1. Put SAME clip V2. Apply the CROP effect to clip V2 and harvest all the 4 side down until you have just the small webcam PiP showing (disable V1 clip temporarily to see what you're actually cropping on V2).

  Now pass the V2 clip left or right on the timeline as necessary to implement synchronization with the V1 (gameplay) clip. Fact

• Replace a string with a textBox Word key

  I think no doubt about it the wrong way. My goal is to create a textField in a position of a key word in a textField and update the position based on that keyword

  Example: The planet RESPONSE is the 3rd away from the Sun. (I want the ANSWER keyword to generate a text field in the posion even in the question).

  My problem is trying to find a coherent solution to a dynamic list of questions.

  My code so far:

  A drop-down list is the bad INTERFACE design where an element can contain more than 100 entries. It is very good in tests, but absolutely unacceptable if the form must be used by a person busy doing their work. The choice of Acrobat forms are limited, but consider a list box. Despite this, there may be limits imposed by the system or the implementation.

  Better would be

  (a) stop filling after awhile the list and add an entry saying several elements not shown, running report or use better filter

  (b) be available for all filtering of course lists

  It's preferences of conventions, and it is not.

  With regard to the parameters of class vs functions scopes properties go, I prefer the variables name bearing the same names for reasons of continuity.

  In all cases, the use of this is needed, of course, when it is used the same names.

  Also, I prefer convention when _variableName is used only for the private variables that have accessors (getters/setters) correspondents. In all other cases, I use just-mixed-case.

  However, in some situations, we have flexibility.

  For example, let's say we have class:

  In the superclass, the scope has access to _age and _salary directly even if they are private. So - there is no need to use accessors directly.

  Now here's a a class that extends the superclass:

  This class doesn't have access to _age and _salary because they are private but the accessors are available. Therefore, we SHOULD use the "this" keyword

  Above examples are not very practical but similar situations pop up constantly.

• Question of hierarchy for the keyword Lightroom 3

  I use primairly LR3 to follow the architectural photographs with many different style or maintained by keyword type designations.  A hierarchy of keywords can be Tudor > (included under the Tudor) symmetrical > Gabled (included in Tudor).  Often, I'll print contact sheets that include key words displayed in the form of photo information.  On what seems to be a completely random basis print keywords may or may not include the entire hierarchy.

  If I check Gabled include in/under Tudor I can have printed on my board contact Gabled > Tudor or just Gables.  Never is it same rest forever.  Certain keywords, symmetrical say can print as symmetrical > Tudor and always will do.  I can redo the keyword (remove and replace), and it may or may not contain the hierarchy now.

  Random action must be something I am or don't do, but have you tried thousands of times to get a consistent result with no luck.  My library of architecture has more than 126 k photos.  I used LR since the first version beta and been able to resolve or understand recent questions (if Adobe or mine).  This question has me and there appear to be no questions and answers on the subject (probably few people rely on the ability to print a string of keyword).  And Yes, there are several workaround solutions, but not how I should approach.

  LR will only show the hierarchy of keywords if the keyword exists more than once in your list of keywords. If you have one "Gabled" keyword in the list, you will see only "Gabled" in your photo info.

  When organizing my library in iPhoto, I used a smart album named any keyword with condition 'keyword is not.

  Is there a way to do this in Photos?

  There is no documented option to create an album smart wih "keyword is not".

  You can use a work cycle: rename all of your keywords to start with a fixed prefix "k::" or similar.  And search for photos with "text does not include" k:: "to find the photos without keywords."

• Question of hierarchy of keywords

  I created and imported a list of hierarchical keywords for Lightroom ensure the consistency of the tags of images on several computers and users. It works on Mac, but on PC, keywords that are higher in the hierarchy do not as they should be.   Under Windows, take a test image and apply the keyword of Studio.  Then, in the Keywording Panel in the right-hand column of the library, the value Keyword Tags enter in keywords.  Studio must only show:
