  I recently started using Captivate 6 after having previously Captivate 5. I created a project in its entirety with true or false question slides, but when I tested the project I noticed that he'll let me only choose one answer given before continuing. For example if I select false, and then click the button submit, nothing happens, and it does not progress to the next slide, but if I select true and submit, it goes to the next slide in the question. This has happened throughout the project (Six Modules in total) and I can't find a solution. I never had this problem when you use Captivate 5, can someone help me with this?

  You must check for an 'attempt' to this question slide (in the properties of Quiz-> for the purposes of the Action)

  

  If you have infinite or > 1 tent, then the slide will not progress to the next slide.

• Captivate 5: slides will not play automatically

  I am facing a problem with Captivate 5 (just starting to use it, in fact still a trial version but the full purchase in a few weeks) that I hope someone can help me with. I have a presentation of 32 slides with audio (imported by blade) and some animation boxes and setting highlighted on some slides. Animations and highlight boxes are synchronized with the audio. When I saw or publish it in format pdf, I noticed that it does not automatically play the slides. The audio starts automatically, but must press the play button to get the boxes/highlight to start animation timing. So if you press the play button 5 seconds after the start of the audio on a slide, and then the highlight boxes and animations will not match upward (they would be 5 seconds behind). In addition, the slides didn't automatically advances until you press the playback button (and the "timing" on the slide runs until the end).

  I thought it was something in terms of do not have autoplay, but I put it on auto run. I even played with having the preloader up to 0 to 100 just about everywhere in between. I also played with the settings of each slide to see if it was something in terms of the action of dragging out. I fixed to continue, and even updated no action (where I had to click on the next button to move forward), but then again, nothing helps.

  Also, where this is relevant, I have a next and back button each screen. On the first screen, I have a text entry box (I shoot the variable in another form), and the length of the blade is defined by the audio (a few seconds).

  What can I do to fix this? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

  What is the chronology of the first slide? I see not all objects, because you're talking about a text entry area that is not visible. What I see, is that you have a fade the first slide and the 2 buttons pause the slide to about 1.5 seconds after the start. The slide itself seems to be much longer than the audio, unlike what you said in your question, or you have an object much later? In this case, the problem is with the two buttons that do a break before this object. Could you post a screenshot of the full chronology of the first slide, maybe what you see is only linked to that?

• Video not appearing is not in published the project, but show up in preview

  I have a video in one of my projects and it plays very well when I do a preview in the browser

  and I open the html code of the video player appears and playback of the video.

  How ever once I publish the app the video file is not released with the rest of my work so he is unable to play the video

• I added a button of output of my slides. but now the slides will not advance.

  Buttons are configured to break slides until they were clicked by the user. You must ensure there is no "Pause after" configured. Look in the properties panel.

• Imported from 4 to 5 question slides are not printing documents

  One of my coaches has imported a file cp 4 to 5. When he tries to print to the pool of the issue or question slides (placed in the main project) as a handout, the only thing that prints is the formatting model and the underlying data. Its pretty useless. I have all the latest patches on my machine and tried, same results. Someone at - it ideas?

• Interactive pdf question, text will not be displayed during playback of the slidewshow

  I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how I can add text high file mp4 am and do work when exported as an interactive pdf. For some reason any the mb4 plays very well, but the text will not appear. It looks like it will work fine when I look at the windon preview swf in indesign. I can add text has to a page with a picture im in the back and works very well. But do not know why the text will not appear up if its a mp4 file instead. someone at - it suggestions?

  Interactives to go above the static elements. You can try to convert the text to a button, but I don't know if it will work in a PDF document.

• Question slide does not move forward properly

  I have a matching exercise which is set up to show users how to use the self-study, so I have audio in the question slide.  Once the user finishes the fiscal year correspondence, clicks submit, gets the 'correct' message, the presentation does nothing for about 20 seconds, and I can't understand why.  Timing is 18.7 seconds, sound complete within this time, the question option is set to 'good response - continue' and I don't know what other details might be useful, but it's upset me greatly.  Any help in diagnosing this is greatly appreciated.

• my application will not be published in app World

  I recently built an application through generator app 2-3 days ago. The generator of the app shows that my app was reviewed and published the world of blackberry but I still don't see it in my office or in my smartphone. Please help me I really want to the app.

  Wait until your application has been reviewed and you see either "Approved" in the status column, this means that you manually publish your app. Or you see "for sale" in the status column, this means that your application is published in the world of BlackBerry and can be downloaded.

• Slide will not automatically advance to the next

  I have a slide that I need to switch to the next slide after the audio and video playback. The audio and video are both set to play automatically when the slide is entered. All my other slides in the project automatically move to the slide following and some of them have audio and video. If I activate the blade PlaySkin is as I want it, which is to play the audio and the video once and then go to the next slide. However, I don't want the PlaySkin in the lesson at all. This lesson is just a quick tutorial and didn't need the skin.

  When the blade reaches the end of the video, the video will stop, but the audio loops. I don't have the "Loop Audio" active choice. And with only one change the presence of the skin, it works. Is anyway I can fix it so that the blade will automatically to another without going through it have skin?

  Figured it out! All I had to do was select the video and on the timing tab in the property inspector, change the display for: for the duration of the video. They will then advance to the next slide.

  

• What the widget glossary useful when the slide will not stop?

  This is my first day trying to learn 8 Captivate. I created a glossary widget on a white page thought it could serve as a valuable resource. When I preview the it, the widget doesn't even show until most of the other path in life and then stops. I must be missing something obvious, because apparently C8 creates films, not free timed pages. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  LOL, the only one of the Adobe engineers can say why it fails to appear for the type 'Play this slide' Preview.

  He does not appear for the next 5 slides or the project, or the preview of the browser?

  As there is an interaction, may Captivate must make before it can present it correctly.

  By default, the comments call sparingly. If you go to Modules > comments you can see all the comments that you can then approve/change/remove.

  Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot? Press and hold sleep and home for 10-15 seconds (ignore the "slide to turn off"), after which the Apple logo should appear and it should restart

  I was able to get your test pattern appears in my LabVIEW by changing a number of things around. In your XML file, I removed the spaces between the brackets and added in some statements '' Yes. '' I have attached the .xml as a .txt file. I changed it around based on some of the files existing .xml that came with LabVIEW. I hope this helps. Nice day.

• Slider will not work

  I am having trouble with my mouse cursor pad. First the laptop froze, the keyboard and mouse inputs are not nothing do I turned it works. When I turned it on the mouse cursor does not appear. I was able to use the keyboard to navigate through the interfaces of windows 8 to restart the computer, but still nothing. I bought it a month ago, it has been used a handful of times. Should what course of action I take to make it work again?

  Chakari, try to get in Control Panel, and then in '' mouse. '' For some reason, your touchpad settings will be there. If everything is set correctly, try 'Device Manager' to make sure that everything is fine.
