question WWAN X121e 3053-A52

Hello

Today, I bought a card WWAN, Ericsson F3607gw, that is listed in the white list, but it does not work. I installed the driver for it, now the Device Manager looks like this:

Lenovo Mobile Broadband Activation States:

BIOS version is 1.16 (UEFI), OS is Windows 8 64-bit.

Please answer!

Finally managed to solve this problem!

It seems that it is bug just incompatibility which is surely must be corrected.

I installed connections to access Lenovo and now it works, but Windows reports it as incompatible program. I heard same modern Metro UI program, I hope that it will soon be in the market!

As you can see here, it is said that laptop is not connected to the network, but in reality it is.

This is what appears in the task bar.

And that's what shows the network connections. It is stated in the local network to network and sharing Center.

I hope this bug will be fixed soon!

Hi on the edge of the command the i3 model of the thinkpad x121e but saw that it was that 1.3 ghz just worried it may not be powerful enough to dreamweaver. This would be the case?

really going to use it as a standard netbook but I need dreamweaver there to combat the emergency situations and maybe corel paintshop pro 12 for web stuff.

Adobe technical specification are vague with CPU unfortunately so wanted to know if you guys had a bit of luck, or is it better to get the AMD E-350?

Hello, newby on the forums here I just got my x121e last week myself (AMD Fusion, RAM of 4 GB model).

I have Adobe Web Premium Suite 5.5 installed on it and I can't complain about the performance. The only time I ran in the 'problem' is when you do something in particular stand out, as massive filters in Photoshop.

Direct edit mode in Dreamweaver is not useful, it's a little too slow, but found the same content in Firefox on its own works perfectly.

I would say that if you're going to make miracles, slight editing or smaller projects, that the x121e should be fine. Maybe not if you make very complex websites.

My original idea for the x121e was to bring in seminars and training (Dreamweaver, among others) and it didn't let me down so far.

Can't comment on the difference between the i3 and the E-350 processors but considering the price and the convenience of the x121e I think it's so much better to have a netbook. AFAIK the i3 is faster but I didn't want to pay the premium for the Intel chip, and so far I am happy with the coice.

    It will be useful.

  • Ericsson 3G F3607gw - Question on the parameters

    We have different models of Toshiba (A11, M11, S11, R600, R700) with internal 3G card Ericsson F3607gw.
After the new installation of the laptop with Windows 7 (no upgrade) and the driver version "R3M03" for the card 3G, the network card is not properly configured with IP V4, V6,... and the IP V4 settings are not configured to obtain an IP address automatically (even for the DNS).

When I connect, I have then no internet connectivity.
If I change the settings, I can then connect to the internet.
When I then try to connect my checkpoint secure client using my 3 G connection, I get an error that it can't find our firewall.
If I create a dial-up networking connection for my 3G card and connect to the internet, my client to Check Point has then no problem to connect.

    1. why the network card settings (IPv4,...), don't set does not correctly after installation?

    2. What are the appropriate settings for the 3 G network adapter?

    3. why the Check Point client only works with dial-up connection?

For 1. and 2. You are not disclosing what parameters you manually change when you get to work. It's probably the APN settings, which leads to the question of what SIM, providers and the AFN you use?

    3. it is a limitation of the Check Point secure client. It does not support NDIS 6.20 devices and WWAN on Windows 7.

  • WWAN switch on with OS only

    Hello

    I have re-installed W7 Pro x 64 on a laptop Tecra A11-128.
Everything works fine, no error whatsoever, nor in the system events.

Now, as I can't get the Toshiba Wireless Manager (brand) to run (installs fine, but then always fails to start with an empty message of sense, that was an error and the program must be closed) I am in touch with Toshiba helpdesk guys (1st level though, as expected there is no advance me) and put the question if an installed + Toshiba value added package + that comes with the FN + keys + feature is the only possibility to transform the WWAN module.

I have been informed that the + Toshiba buttons + are the sine qua non for WWAN (i.e. through + FN + F8 +...) and that without it, the SIM card cannot be enabled, so do not be used.

That sounded rather odd for me, so I wonder if there is really no other way to make Windows 7 turn on the WWAN modem.
I tried after [this | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9802OF0000R01.htm#] tutorial, but naturally has failed, due to a "material mistake in the modem" (Error 692). (Curiously, I noticed that the diode WWAN shone blue as it does when this option is available).

    Anyone know this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey Buddy,

I m not Tecra owner but if you get a hardware error in Device Manager, you should try to reinstall the driver of your 3G modem. You can download it from the official website of Toshiba.

By the way: are you using the preinstalled version of Windows 7 or not?

  • 2530p HP: HP 2530p and HP HS2340 HSPA + 21Mbps, WWAN card compatibility

Hello. I have HP 2530p and I would like to use the card top debit MOBILE HP HS2340 HSPA + 21 Mbps (Ericsson F5521GW/HP HS2340 HSPA + 21 Mbps card WWAN 632155-001 631727-002). The question is if it's comtatibile or not. Or could you please recommend me another card 3G / 4G. Thx for the answer.

The only compatible guaranteed WWAN card is the card of EV-DO/HSDPA Mobile Broadband Module integrated HP un2400.

This is a laptop more old (circa 2009) in order to find a 3G\4G card that is compatible with it is going to be quite difficult. You can check the improvements updated BIOS to see if the compatibility has been added for other WWAN cards.

Update: I checked the BIOS improvements and the only thing that has been added in terms of compatibility upgrade is compatibility of SSDS. Additional compatibility with WWAN cards was not an improvement that has been added.  If the answer is that you can very well be out of luck on 3G\4G WWAN cards.

  • ThinkPad Twist WWAN antenna?

I'm sure that many people will ask that, so I think that we need a clear answer from Lenovo.

For those who have not ordered a WWAN card in their original config is the WWAN antenna pre-installed on the screen or not?

My model came with the SSD, so the location where it is usually an mSATA cache is empty and there is the possibility to install the WWAN card. I took the keyboard and can see the empty slot, but there are no cables to the WWAN antenna only those for the WLAN that are already connected to the wireless network card.

So the question is: is the antenna WWAN missing or hidden on the screen?

    @ciuvak...

I can understand the configuration of my X 220.

MPCIe slot which would be installed the WWAN card is empty, and as you describe in your turn, there is no only antenna cables in the region. My machine has been configured and sold as no WWAN-extensible, to my knowledge, which means no antennas. Configured and sold as WWAN-stretch models have wires installed and went into the appropriate area near the slot (not hidden in the screen), so that all that is needed is a WWAN FRU approved card.

I would say, that if you do not see the son, they have not been installed.

    I'm sorry.

Edit: You would like to take a look at the Manual of Maintenance of equipment. Pages 63-65 installing the card and pages 86-88 the antenna if you consider installing the wires. Please do not forget that LCD assemblies on shelves are considerably more difficult than on the shelves. At least in my experience. In addition, the LCD screen Assembly is not a task for the end user. If something bad happens while it is open, warranty service may be questionable.

  • WWAN Option (43R9153): Installation, WLAN

I bought the WWAN option for my T400 (2765 - 22G). Now I'm confused and have two questions:

-When I install the WWAN option, I need to remove the already installed module. It seems to be the WLAN module.

I lost the WLAN connectivity? Or the WWAN also includes WLAN?

-The installed module has 3 connectors, left, middle, right.

But the WWAN option has only two connectors. What happens with the third wire (gray)?

    Thank you

    Eric

    Eric, welcome to the forum,

I'm not sure you are looking in the right place. The wlan card is towards the back of your system and nees cables of 3 antennas. The wan cardshould be installed on the left side below meets the palmrest and keyboard. There is a free slot and two cables if your system is extensible. See the installation / removal instructions.

    Hope this helps

  • WWAN or mSata use, L512, SSD

    Hello

Maybe someone could help me with my question.

I own a Lenovo L512 4444-4PG. After reading the manual, I found the description of

the view of the underside of my L512. There is a slot for card Wireless WAN number 6

    mentioned.

Well, it looks like an mSata Slot.
Do you think I can use a RunCore Pro V 6Gbps SSD or 3Gbps mSATA
by using this slot machine? Or any other SSD by using this slot machine?

Thanks a lot for your help!

L520 was the first to have mSATA capable slot, the slot L512 mPCIe is for the WWAN card.

  • Question about Guide or video guide

HY I am new to the Forum, but not new for research here, I had a T60 and now own a SL510... As my Sl510 came with bluetooth, I took the one off my T60 and installed on the SL510.

Now, I had a few questions, I am running Win 7 Pro, initially the bluetooth was perfectly isntalled and worked, now after a few weeks, it no longer works and when I go to Device Manager I see that it is uninstalled eventhough I installed it.

2nd, I noticed that the SL510 have a 2nd PCI express port inside, the without wire is under the keyboard, so I was wondering what is the use of this 2nd port?

And the 3rd, I remember when I move the bluetooth card from one PC to another, that I had to search and found somewhere in this forum a link to a Guide with videos and other things, where I could look for any brand laptop computer Lenovo and could get the dissambly and the reassemply ob parts, can someone point me to this site please? I need to check something on my SL510, thank you very much for your help.

    Hello mate,

Check if your daughter card is properly connected to your bluetooth problem. Reinstall it maybe.

The second pci express card is normally to connect a WWAN modem.

  • EliteBook 8460p: WWAN Sierra Wireless Module

    Hello

Can anyone give me the link for update my drivers of WWAN Module HP un2430 for 64-bit Windows 10 platform or the update isn't out yet... If Yes, then pretty close when it comes out? The reason why I asked this question is because my module drivers Windows 8.1 is not compatible with Windows 10 so the wireless with no signal, so does not work.

I've used Windows 8.1 64-bit but am now on Windows 10 64-bit for my EliteBook 8460p. The module hp un2430 worked perfectly when I used Windows 8.1.

Finally, on the other hand if there is a patch that is useful to let the thing working please let know me.

Thank you, in advance for your help.

    Jamie

Oh, I solved the problem myself... I can now connect intracellular... Detective Conan.

  • mSATA SSD in WWAN location in e7240

    Hello

I am interested in getting an mSATA SSD in the WWAN slot in e7240. Apart from the LITEON SSD (which doesn't seem to be available in my position), what other SSD can be used? If you use a SSD in this slot, I would like to know the make and model and additional effort/questions that you face?

    Thank you.

Replying to my own post in case anyone else has the same question. The mSATA Samsung Evo fits well. Unfortunately it does not come with a screw and the seller did not have a spare or (!). So I went with the Plextor M6M (which is the same as the LITEON SSD Dell has default SSD). Works very well.

  • inbound connections blocked on WWAN adapter

I have a service HSPA of my phone provider that, when given to a special NPC, results in my connection WWAN receiving a routable public IP address instead of an RFC1918 address behind their CGN.

Under three different installs of Windows 7 (which was a virtual machine spun and clean installed for the purpose of this test) I get the same result - no incoming connections are forwarded to the host application listening on any given outlet (tried 80/tcp as well as anything else reported as opened by tcpview from sysinternals).

On windows XP, I can instruct a web browser to connect to the public IP address of the WWAN adapter with number.

Of course, ive checked the firewall ad nausium - both enabled and with exceptions to the firewall, disabled and even stop the firewall service make NO DIFFERENCE under windows 7.

What gives? the handling of the PPPS adpaters has changed that much XP to 7?

    Hi Rob,

The question you posted would be better suited in the Technet community.

  • X121e - upgreadable 3g module

    Hello

I just bought a x121e wonderful lenovo with a sim card Bay. Between the sim card in the slot, but nothing happens. I think the case is that the 4g module has been marked as 'upgredable' in the site where I bought my laptop.

So I ask you how can I let the work 35.

    Thank you very much.

    Bacca.

Without the WWAN, the SIM card does nothing and you can't get all data from the card.
