Questioning the value of property management

Hi all

I have a custom. ABC property, global - level, set the propertytype property node.

I want to change the value of this property for only a few specific nodes and his descendants no overall hierarchy.

As we know Changeprop option via the load script will change the node values, but is there another action or mechanism by which I can change the node and its descendants property values.

To get the list of the descendant nodes for a specific node will be little process long and well of course, after that, we can load the value via changeprop Action.

If you make the property inherited affecting then for a parent it will define also for all descendants.  -What are you looking for?

  • Set the value of selectOneChoice managed Bean

    Hello Experts,

    My script is as follows: -.

    I have a selectOneChoice in my page and I fill it with values in the loading of the page (in the constructor of my managed bean) and he filled in correctly

    < af:selectOneChoice binding = "#{viewScope.MyBean.select}" >

    < f: selectItems value = "#{viewScope.MyBean.arr}" >

    < / af:selectOneChoice >

    ARR = new ArrayList < selectItem > ();

    arr. Add (new selectItem ("1", "Label 1"));
    arr. Add (new selectItem ("2", "Label 2"));
    arr. Add (new selectItem ("3", "Label 3"));
    arr. Add (new selectItem ("4", "Label 4"));

    Now, I need when I click a button on my page, make sure the value selected from the selectOneChoice '1 '.

    I tried the following, but it does not work:

    1 - select.setValue("1");

    2 - SelectItem TR = new SelectItem ("1", "Label 1");
    select.setValue (si);

    So, how can I do in my managed bean?

    I appreciate your help and thanks in advance

    The has a value property that the component stores the selected value. You can either declare a temporary variabel on the page (http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/creating-variables-and-attribute-bindings-to-store-values-temporarily-in-the-pagedef/) and use this variable to store the selected value, or you can use a bean for this property. Once you have set the value property, you can select the entry by setting the value property to the index that you want to select.

  • The value of property to an array element node: How does it work?

    As I tried in vain to understand my shipment of samples recent misconception (here), I came across a behavior that I'm not sure I understand.

    Here it goes:

    Move a table of numeric values to the FP show. a few items. The easiest way is to take a 'table - Numeric (Silver)' pre-formed object with 3 items listed.

    Now, right-click on the top element and select: create > property node > value

    Change this to write about the BD and to connect a constant, say 1. Run the VI, you get this:

    ===>

    So far so good.

    Now do the same for the THIRD item and wire a different constant to the AP, say 3. Rerun the VI, you get this:

    ===>

    All right...

    I mean, it is not already made a lot of sense, but wait what will happen...

    Now remove the first NP and run VI again:

    ===>

    Quite logical, right? ... not!

    At least * I * can't make sense of it and it smells like a bug to me... or a weird feature.

    Tested in LV 2013 SP1 (62 + 2 bits) on Windows 7 64 bit.

    You create a shortcut to write to the ArrElem.Value property.  The property ArrayElement to a table is a little funky, it is the last element that was active.  With only a single PN on your comics in writing a value, click in the central element of the array, and then run the VI, repeat for the other elements.

  • Region does not have the value

    Hello

    I have a region that includes a workflow with a selectonechoice component. This pane displays the true/false values and save the value to a managed bean. It also has the auto = true quote.

    In my jspx page that has the region inside I have a button that is returned when the value above is set to true. However, the button does not react to the selection of the selectonechoice component, unless the user clicks on the F5 key. Jspx, here is the code page:

    < af:panelGroupLayout id = "pgl1" layout = "scroll" >
    < af:region value = "#{bindings.testbtf.regionModel}" id = "r1" / > "
    < / af:panelGroupLayout >

    < af:panelGroupLayout id = "pgl2" layout = "scroll" partialTriggers = "A1" >
    < text af:commandButton = "button" id = "cb1".
    rendered = "#{ManagedBean.Visible == true}" / >
    < / af:panelGroupLayout >

    What needs to be done for the page to be partially updated and show / hide the button?

    PS: if I use the same code and instead of a region, the selectonechoice se I use the above approach works.

    The partialTriggers attribute can have on the panelGroupLayout, it's good, but the ID of the referenced component should be the ID. the component selectOneChoice in this case, it would be something like r1:soc1. See an example here: http://jdeveloperandadf.blogspot.co.uk/2011/01/adf-region-as-source-of-partial-trigger.html

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] What is the right approach to manage the Value property of a Date of entry through a bean?

    Hallo,

    I created a custom search form by dragging on the CIU af:inputText and af:inputDate.

    I have some difficulties in the treatment of af: inputDate CIU.

    I've linked the Value of each af:inputDate property to a Date variable in a range backingBean bean.

    It is the correct type of Date or can I use the String type?

    When the user clicks the button to search for the form of the search_action in the bean creates the query with parameters (identified by (?) because I am using SQL Server as DBMS).

    Then, I need programmatically check the values of af: inputDate CIU and then use them to define the query parameters.

    Are there property should I settle for FA: inputDate CIU to "do a good job? For example Valdiator, converter...?

    I see that when I use the calendar of af: inputDate, the field is entered in the format dd/mm/yyyy is good for me but I'm not able to uderstand how to treat the value to check by program and then use it to set a parameter to the query of VO.

    I also want to set the initial value of some CIU af:inputDate in the bean. It takes for example the 1st of the month 6 months ago. What code would I use to do this?

    You could you kindly help me (better if give me a simple example)?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Date type is correct.

    Are there property should I settle for FA: inputDate CIU to "do a good job? For example Valdiator, converter...?

    Well, if you need validate the date, then you will need validator (or check the value in managed bean)

    It goes the same for the converter.

    I see that when I use the calendar of af: inputDate, the field is entered in the format dd/mm/yyyy is good for me but I'm not able to uderstand how to treat the value to check by program and then use it to set a parameter to the query of VO.

    In your beans, you will get the Date value, so no matter how it is displayed on the user interface.

    To date handling, you can use standard java api as java.util.Calendar

    I also want to set the initial value of some CIU af:inputDate in the bean. It takes for example the 1st of the month 6 months ago. What code would I use to do this?

    Use standard java api to calculate the new date, then assign accessor value in your bean (for example, in the constructor of the bean)

  • How to get the source of the event of the value property changes of Manager?

    I'm relatively new to JavaFX, so maybe that is an easy question to answer. I have created in Java code number (for example, 5) ChoiceBox instances. I add a handler for when changing the value of the ChoiceBox. My code:
    ChoiceBox<String> rpmSelector = new ChoiceBox<>();
    ObservableList<String> rpmSelectorItems = FXCollections.observableArrayList();
    rpmSelectorItems.add(ALL_RPM);
    for (Double engSpeed : engSpeeds) {
        rpmSelectorItems.add(String.format("%.0f", engSpeed.doubleValue()));
    }
    rpmSelector.setItems(rpmSelectorItems);
    rpmSelector.getSelectionModel().selectFirst();

    rpmSelector.valueProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener<String>() {
        @Override
        public void changed(ObservableValue<? extends String> obsValue,
                String oldValue, String newValue) {
           // How can I get the ChoiceBox that was the source of this event?
        }
    });
    My question is: in the method "changed", how can I determine which of the ChoiceBox bodies had its value changed?

    Thank you!

    Make final rpmSelector and you can refer to it in the ChangeListener.

    final ChoiceBox rpmSelector = new ChoiceBox();
    ...
    rpmSelector.valueProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener() {
      @Override public void changed(ObservableValue obsValue, String oldValue, String newValue) {
         System.out.println("Value changed to " + newValue + " for " + rpmSelector);
      }
    });

    You can also pass the choicebox that the listener is for the ChangeListener manufacturer and store:

    final ChoiceBox rpmSelector = new ChoiceBox();
    ...
    rpmSelector.valueProperty().addListener(RpmSelectorChangeListener(rpmSelector));
    ...
    class RpmSelectorChangeListener extends ChangeListener() {
      final ChoiceBox rpmSelector;
      RpmSelectorChangeListener(ChoiceBox rpmSelector) {
        this.rpmSelector = rpmSelector;
      }
      @Override public void changed(ObservableValue obsValue, String oldValue, String newValue) {
         System.out.println("Value changed to " + newValue + " for " + rpmSelector);
      }
    }

  • Get the value of the question page before submitting.

    Hello all, I use the Application Express 4.2.5.00.08. I have a question on getting a value for a page element before the page is sent. I have a dynamic action:

    Action: Moving the mouse (on a region/State)

    Real Action: $('a[href*="39"]').each (function (index) {}
    lnk = $(this) .attr ('href');
    $(this) .parent)
    . Parent ('tr')
    .Attr ("href data ', lnk")
    {.mouseover (function ()}
    $(this) .css ("cursor", "pointer");
    Lrowrequired var = $(this) .closest ("tr"),.
    BLOCK = lRow.find("td[headers=BLOCK]").text ();
    $x('P39_BLOCK').value = BLOCK;
    })
    {.mouseleave (function ()}
    $(this) .css ('cursor', 'default');
    })
    });

    I am successfully able to get the value of the line while I'm hovering above the report (and P39_BLOCK is refreshing). But, in this case, the value is not set whenever it changes. My question is, if I need to use this value (say, put an another page element when P39_BLOCK is changed) without submitting the page, how is that possible?

    Kind regards
    MFadel.

    Hi Mohamed,

    That's what bothers! In my first dynamic action, I have real action 'Execute JavaScript Code', which doesn't have a property "Page items to show.". And I need this code to retrieve values from the row of the report.

    On the right, you will have the option 'page elements to present' the dynamic JavaScript actions. Only the PL/SQL. And you do not need to handle things strictly the use of javascript. JavaScript is usually used to manipulate items on the page itself, not the things on the server/session). If you need to present before your PL/SQL block, you can either use AJAX call, or you can create a dynamic action of PL/SQL that runs before your JavaScript. Put this field in the 'submit' page elements and the block of code, just put null;

    Here's a sample in javascript, ajax call. It pushes three elements of the page in the session or in the scope where APEX can access their values. You can return values through AJAX if necessary also:

    $.ajax ({type: 'POST',})

    URL: "wwv_flow.show",

    data: {}

    p_flow_id: $('#pFlowId').val (),.

    p_flow_step_id: page,.

    p_instance: $('#pInstance').val (),.

    "x 01': P39_PAGE_ITEM_1, '.

    "x 02': P39_PAGE_ITEM_2, '.

    "x 03': P39_PAGE_ITEM_3, '.

    p_request: 'APPLICATION_PROCESS = YOUR_PROCESS_NAME'

    },

    success: function (data) {}

    Console.log (Data);

    }

    });

    Then you would have a PL/SQL process called YOUR_PROCESS_NAME that can refer to variables such as

    my_var_1 VARCHAR2 (100 CHAR): = APEX_APPLICATION. G_X01; -Javascript password

    my_var_2 VARCHAR2 (100 CHAR): = APEX_APPLICATION. G_X02; -Javascript password

    my_var_3 VARCHAR2 (4000 TANK): = APEX_APPLICATION. G_X03; -Javascript password

    Can I use in my "PL/SQL procedure? Because in the end, I'm trying to use this value in a PL/SQL procedure:

    To answer your last question, Yes, you can use the P39_BLOCK in your PL/SQL, how you demonstrated above, but you must submit in the 'page' referred to submit box, otherwise it uses the last value that has been submitted.

    What I'm not clear, is do you need really value before executing the PL/SQL or you just want your PL/SQL? If you just try to pass it in PL/SQL and then just use the dynamic action of PL/SQL and pass it by using the "elements of the page to present. '' Remember, if you need a new value to publish on the page, you will need to put these fields in the box "items to display the page.

    If you only need the value of front page because you will use in javascript, somewhere, then reference it with jQuery or js and then use AJAX to continue your treatment.

    A third way, you could do, is to create a dynamic action of PL/SQL that runs before the javascript code that is null; in the body of PL/SQL, but put the P39_BLOCK in the "elements of page to submit" box. Who will just send the page element, and then take action dynamic javascript. But, I don't know why you would do that since you can't have the value submitted for javascript to use.

    Hope that all makes sense.

    See my first example here in response to your previous question: update the values of string xml.

    BTW, to format your code, go to the so-called 'Advanced Editor ' and choose the formatting that you want in the menu behind the > icon.

    Note that, as of now, none of the available options are really satisfactory to shape the code because he doesn't use fixed-width fonts.

    Personally, I manually change the font "Courier New" and apply the effect 'Quote' for formatting my code snippets, that mimicks a little previous rendering allows us to get through the {code} tags (before the migration of the forum).

    Plant cells to generate checkboxes:

    I'm sure that I'm missing out on a minor addition. Any hint on solving this would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello Florent.
    I have not read all your codes but from the title of your question. I think that you are not been able to get the status of the Update checkbox. To obtain the present value of checkbox, you must update 'OBJECTS' tableview to plant cells check box. For the State of the elements of this update...

    SIMPLE ALGORIGTHM
    -CLICK EVENT IS PAST IN THE CELL (BOX)
    -FUNCTION CELL_FACTORY TRIGGERS
    -YOU WILL GET THE INDEX OF THE LINE
    -UPDATE THE TABLE VIEW "ITEMS" WITH AND UPDATE THE SPECIFIC INDEX
    -THE CHANGES WILL HAPPEN THIS WAY

    Thank you

  • Need help for managed bean - to the values of the extraction of data loading of jsf is

    Hello
    in the construction of managed bean, I wrote code to extract values from database.

    but for each action (such as button clicks, drop-down list changes etc...) this constructor is called I don't want.

    I tried to over come this using beforePhase event of the jsf. but sometimes it doesn't property.

    Someone please help me to retrieve the values of data base loading of jsf is.

    Thank you

    If you want to execute a method in a method beforePhase only once (when loading the page) then you can check the expression #{adfFacesContext.initialRender} before running all you want.

    import javax.el.ELContext;
    import javax.el.ExpressionFactory;
    import javax.el.ValueExpression;
    import javax.faces.application.Application;
    import javax.faces.context.FacesContext;
    import javax.faces.event.PhaseEvent;

    public class Test {

        public boolean isInitialrender() {
            FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
            Application application = fctx.getApplication();
            ExpressionFactory expressionFactory =
                application.getExpressionFactory();
            ELContext context = fctx.getELContext();
            ValueExpression createValueExpression =
                expressionFactory.createValueExpression(context,
                                                        "#{adfFacesContext.initialRender}",
                                                        Object.class);
            Boolean isInitialrender =
                (Boolean)createValueExpression.getValue(context);
            return isInitialrender;

        }

        public void beforePhaseMethod(PhaseEvent phaseEvent) {
            // Add event code here...
            if (isInitialrender()) {
                System.out.println("This statement is shown once... when the page is loaded");
            }
        }
    }
