  Hi, I tried searching for a while and may not find specific answers. For some reason, recently when I go to the split screen, then choose Select a window, not all active windows demonstrate them. Several times recently, I tried the window to a screen sharing program, but the program window does not appear as an option to select in the split screen, despite the fact that I had shared these same program windows in the past.
  
  I added a photo so you can see what I mean. You can see that the program is open and you can even see its icon in the preview of the Volume mixer window, but it does not appear as a window to select and share.

  

  This isn't the only program I've had problems with, were two other programs that I had problems with games, but all three of these programs are those I have screen share the window in the past, but can only recently.   you say that when you open any program, Media Center opens instead OR are

  programs. These are two different issues.  Have you tried a system restore to a

  Glib answer: read your emails.

  Notification of "unread mail" on the Windows Home screen reflects information from several e-mail applications that can be installed on your computer, including at least, Outlook Express and Mozilla Thunderbird's.  Other messaging applications can also contribute to the total.

  If you click on the link, you are supposed to see what e-mail client has how many messages, but I have never actually confirmed this feature.

  It is not possible to download Windows 7 on a DVD. If you want to install Windows 7 on the computer, you must purchase a Microsoft installation disc.

  You would think that a Microsoft Support engineer would know what is available in the Microsoft store.  But maybe not.

  If your b/f to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7, you can buy Windows 7 directly from Microsoft and download.  You can download an ISO file which can be burned to a DVD if you have a software that can make this engraving.  Of course, with your b / f machine works do not, you will not be able to use Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to determine if your computer is capable of running Windows 7.

  I have a computer on which Windows Me had initially on this, but I later updated to Windows XP Home Edition. Now the computer's hard drive is wiped and I am trying to reinstall the Windows XP Home Edition, but I don't have an original Windows Me disk. I called Dell and they said that they cannot help me because they have more than the available software and that they included with they system. I have all the disks that came with my system, and this isn't one of them. I would like to reinstall Windows XP but it won't let me spend the elibibilty upgrade check without year ME disc.   The only way to make this work is to provide a CD of an older operating system the installation of XP asks you to put the qualifying media. It doesn't have to be your missing drive; It can be a friend ME disc or even one for Win98. If anyone you know has a Win98 / ME disc you can borrow, you can take the device to a local computer professional for the installation (not for free of course) or buy a full version (not upgrade) of XP. NewEgg and Amazon still have XP for sale. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  Yes.  More likely you qualify for level to Windows 8 If you had Windows 7 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, are all eligible to upgrade.)  Just OS level determines what you will be able to keep for an upgrade).
