QUICK SCREEN FLASHING AND OR FREEZING.

When I use the built in Windows games, hearts, chess, etc., the game will be fast flashing between the game and the office.  This also happens when I use any program (including third party software).

Someone at - it experience or suggestions?

Thank you

Jon

Hi Jon,

Please check the event viewer log entries when the screen freezes to discover which is the origin of the problem. To do this, try the following steps.
1. open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. click on a journal of the events in the left pane.
3. double-click on an event to view the details of the event.
4 publish details of return.

For more information, see What are the information in the event logs? (Event Viewer)

    Hello

First, download and install the drivers from the ATI site, if you have already done so, check the graphics card and cabin temperature by opening. This normally occurs when the temperature is too high. Or if a person has overclocked graphics card.

  • dv2500 screen flashes and freezes and the white bars (oh my)

Have a dv2500, (or dv2530ea if you want really specific). The screen flickers and freezes of once power is on. I also get random horizontal white bars. When the screen freezes happening slowly in white. A small amount of pressure to parts of the monitor case can return to the normal screen that will it stay like that without maintaining a constant pressure can be difficult.

    It is out of warranty.

This can be corrected? Should I open up? Just a bad connection somewhere maybe?

-All right, so just in case where any googling leads anyone here I thought I should give the solution, (I have found elsewhere ¬). The problem got worse, anyway. The screen shot for this fade to white mixed with white lines problem to have color of the horizontal lines. The colored lines seemed corrospond to what should be displayed on a single line of the display. Unfortunately, this single line has been posted on all lines of the screen, which gives these horizontal lines. And not intermittently, constantly. Fixable by applying pressure to the screen, but it means to have a screen of work I could not take my hand off the monitor case, not an ideal scenario by a stretch.

Anyway, it turns out the circuits at the rear of the Panel led made a bad contact somewhere. There was something communicating with display circuit which should not have been in contact with led back panel, give me my damaged screen. To resolve this issue, open the window of degonder the display panel and find the offending area. I did it by applying pressure in specific areas and slide the paper behind the circuit on the rear panel (this obligatory sheet of aluminum at the top of the screen, which was not a problem of lifting, it's just paper). With the bad identified contact area, I could get some plain paper business cards and stuff (quietly) between the plate and the rear panel. Solve the problem. One to the down and dirty round, but very effective and - I believe - very stable one.

  • HP w2007 screen flashes and goes out often.

The computer monitor screen flashes for a second at a time, and frequently.  I have run a check of virus with no viruses found.  I had changed the time of idle mode on the screen saver in the last months, so I'm wondering also if who burned some of the capabilities of the screen.  The monitor IS NOT turn off, it just blinks quickly at various intervals.

  • iPhone 6 more screen flashing and does not

    Hello

For the last few days, my iphone 6 more screen starts flashing from the top and the touch screen doesn't respond. The phone is still under warranty.

I went to apply here authorized service center in Singapore, they have looked at my phone and said, there is a slight inclination in the phone which will be considered physical damage where it can not be repaired / replaced under warranty, I have to bear the cost.

Now, as I read on the forums, this is a problem of very well known with the iPhone 6 Plus, also, I don't see no noticeable turn in the phone of my eyes. I'm sure that this issue is not because of any physical damage, but as a result of an internal manufacturing.

I'm really disappointed with the service of Apple. I don't know what to do now. Should I try to go to any other authorized service center and see what they say?

    Any advice would be appreciated,

    Thank you

    Rohit

I started having the same problem with my Plus 6. I took it to the Apple store today and the tech told me that it is a known issue that they see a lot. They hope that Apple will issue a recall notice. My phone is out of warranty, so they would be out swap with a unit refurbished for $329. The real kicker is that he said that they have the same problem with a lot of devices refurbished right out of the box. My options are to keep a phone that keeps flashing and does not or pay $329 for a replacement who may have the same problem that has my current phone. It's really bad assumption of a product!

  • My screen flashes and flashing light wireless is gone (laptop)

Product name: HP Pavilion dv5-1040ep Notebook PC (FM577EA)

Operating system installed: Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

    Error message: None

All changes to your system until the problem was happening: None

    Description of the problem:

I could not find in HP Support Assistant help some. My screen flashes while I open and move it. Sometimes, it must be almost closed to be visible. It can't Hibernate or restarts, flashing just with movement.

Partners or not, the blue light that indicates wireless, missing/is gone, but I have wireless, just the light disappeared.

There is no error message, just that two things that appeared in the material.

Someone happened to that? How do solve you? What are the parts must be corrected or modified?

    Happy to help you.

    But sad for the question.

Yes, that means lcd cable needs to be replaced. It s is not easy to do, so I advise you don t feel comfortable to open the unit to go to a repair center.

This components are very sensitive and can be damaged easily.

You can use this part number for the lcd to buy a new one, a 484367-001 is not much more expensive and is not an expensive repair.

On the need for basic wlan led to replace the switch cover and the part number of this one is very cheap in 488316-001 it s too.

You can easily find these parts on the web.

Doubts, questions or how to replace these parts just tell if I can advise and help you.

  • 30' cinema screen flashes and off permanently.

Since the upgrade of RAM (over the w/e) in 2008 Mac Pro the 30 "cinema display has flashed continuously (power), he stopped that if I held my finger nearly walking off button on the side of the screen. Also connected is a screen 23 '' (unchanged). " I checked all sources of energy, etc - everything seems OK, I also put the button of the screen to "do nothing".

After permutation of the entries for both the 30 screens "Cinema screen but don't blink not now seems not properly shut down, also during the passage of equipment on again once the office and screen saver as chosen by me have reset to a default of Apple." All is very disconcerting and frustrating. All advice and suggestions will be appreciated.

I came across this problem with the 30 "movie poster - it turned to disable the operating system power and the monitor brightness control did the trick.

  • HP 2509 m screen flashes and turns off using a HDMI Cable entry

I have problems with my new HP2509m monitor. When I connect to my cable box using the HDMI connection the screen image flashes for a few seconds and then goes black for a few seconds and continues to do so. The time interval varies from May 3 to 6 seconds in each phase.

It's the second monitor I got that this behavior. When I bought my system in October I ordered the 23 "monitor and it worked fine with the HDMI input, but I had trouble with the PC and he traded. The 2509 was introduced at the same time so I decided to share my monitor 23 "to 25", but now I'm regretting this decision. The main reason I bought the extra monitor should have the opportunity to move to the HDMI input for TV viewing, save space in my office.

I tried the monitor using the same HDMI cable plug into the HDMI from my computer and the light is very good, so it seems to be a problem with the signal from the cable, but everything worked with the 23 "monitor leaving I think there is an issue with tuner HDMI monitor 2509.

I searched the documentation on the HP site and google search but have found nothing of the sort. Someone has seen this and is there a solution for this? I like to keep the monitor. Thank you.

Apparently, I was early to the part of the questions of this monitor.

It turns out that the monitor is not compatible with the decoder I've had. The box is made by the Asian Development Bank and is capable of displaying 1080I content. 1080I is not the issue but because I can use a HDMI to DVI adapter and connect to the monitor and it works OK; It is, so I don't have the computer plugged into the DVI connector as I wanted.

My cable provider was kind enough to take the monitor and test. They discovered that one of their old version of (amino) cable boxes works very well with the monitor. They swapped the box and it worked well since.

I use my cable provider HDMI cable, so I don't know the spec version that is.

My advice to anyone affected by the flashing HDMI display is to get a HDMI/DVI adapter and try it. They are supplied with a certain monitors so that they are fairly easy to find if you know someone who works in a computer SCIENCE Department. If the monitor displays the signal correctly then the question is probably the cable box or as another poster suggested, the cable can be out of spec.

It is convenient to have the double monitor as a TV. The image quality is superb, but the sound is not. I do not understand why manufacturers monitor for skimping on the speakers. A monitor with its 'premium quality' would be a point of sale, and buyers would be happy to pay for the upgrade. I don't know about a lot of people like me it's simplify - remove the clutter and cables of our offices. HP are you listening?

    Hello

In my opinion there would be something wrong with the motherboard.
Perhaps dysfunction of VGA chip maybe some covers may come into contact with the VGA chip and cause of could short-circuit.
This could be an explanation why the screen flashes and the computer hangs after a shaking gently.

But buddy note; Here are just a few suggestions and you should contact the ASP if you want to know what's wrong s and what causes this problem.
