  I currently work with about 10 + work plans and I normally ' file > export > rapid export in PNG ", I had no problem in the previous version of Photoshop, but since I updated yesterday to the latest version, is no longer shows the pop-up asking where I want to save the png and instead" does nothing?

  Please try and reset the default Photoshop preferences, if you do not customize your Photoshop after the last update.

  Steps to follow:

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

  Hi useful Folk,

  'Quick Look' attachments Mail preventing you from downloading spam?

  There are times when I'm trying to determine if an email with an attachment is legitimate, but I'm afraid of "Quick look" attachment lest it somehow temporarily download a virus or some other disaster.

  Anyone know if the Quick Look feature is basically the same as a dangerous file download?

  I can't find all the items online, including on Apple.com support pages, who carry on this.

  If you can QuickLook the attachment, it is already downloaded.

• Strange behavior of Quick Look on Mac

  My Photoshop documents sometimes seem very strange when I use Quick Look in Finder.  Rather than view the file as it should, it shows a strangely cropped version on a white BG.  Or it shows just a layer rather than the composite of the layers.  Y at - there some problem with Quick Look and Photoshop on the Mac, or is there a solution for this?

  It would be the Alpha in the palette layers, no layers.

  Hello, I just create a graph composed of several work plans which should then be exported as separate images. I want to have elements of the image being set apart above the work plans so one side would occur on a work plan and on the other side on the next and so on.

  In general, PS we're going to do that to me. You can simply put eomthing above or below a work plan and that he would do anything I want. BUT as soon as you move it just 1px, PS he rise immediately in the next plan of the underlying work, which seems to be an option for some projects, but in most cases, it seems more as an inconvenience than a characteristic.

  Is it possible to disable this feature?

  Hi Val,

  The behavior you describe is the re-nesting.

  (1) (now) re-nesting can be disabled for an entire document by accessing the work plan tool and choose the gear on the Panel of the tool icon. It is saved with the document and is not a global property. In general we do not recommend he go off; This feature has been added to allow the old scripts to run more reliable with documents of the artboard.

  (2) (now) if the layer (or layer group) is reported as being 'Broad' compared to the larger artboard, it will be re - nest not automatically. It can still be moved in and out of the plans of work manually using the Layers Palette. 'Big' are defined as being more than 3 x the width or the height of the work plan.

  (3) (coming soon) we are looking for locking layer property also prevent to re-nesting.

  With option 2, you can group your layer placed with something that makes this group become 'Big' to the extent of the re-nesting is concerned.

  I hope this helps and gives some tools to do what you want now, at least until option 3 figure.

  I don't know if I've inadvertently changed a setting, or if this change which has occurred in one update. Can someone tell me?

  I used to be able to select a plan of work directly when several work plans are used and print it out. Now, I have to select work plan tool to select it.

  If this feature is gone or I did something to change behavior?

  The feature actually went in the latest versions. I installed 2015.1.1 and it works. So I guess they took the behavior.

  As you can see below the first triangle is selected in the regular view outside the artboard scene, while others are not. I can just go through each work plan directly without entering the stage of the artboard. If I wasn't crazy after all.

  Hi guys

  So I was frustrated at how slow Illustrator worked on my MBP 8 GB 2015, while I received also lack of RAM related sometimes error messages.  After various tests, diagnostic and hardware of the laptop seems good so I struggled for a reason as to why my Illustrator worked so slow.

  I started, I was wondering if it was a change in my workflow that holds me. I'm wireframing mobile screens (rarely use the color and use of effects minimal/styles) and start with work plans of 30-40 which I conceive on (file size rarely exceeds 4. 5 MB).  My previous workflow was to design first, and then create designs work plans just before exporting it in PNG or PDF.

  So I wonder - is the use of so many plans of work since the beginning of the project/file slowing Illustrator?  This difference in workflow is the only reason why I can think of as to why I am having problems of speed with Illustrator now and not before.

  Working with 30-40 work plans both certainly can affect the performance of Illustrator. Your previous workflow was better in this scenario. You can also try to reset the preferences of Illustrator and then check the app and the workflow, it should be better.

• ZoneAlarm PRO browser extension does not work in FF18, is it planned to work with ZA to resolve this incompatibility?

  Update FF18 in January or December, received the warning that my security extension for the browser ZoneAlarm Pro (or add-on?) is not compatible and has been disabled.

   I contacted Zonealarm and was told they were working on a fix.
   In the past, they have always released a fixed extension within a few days of a new FF release, so I waited for a week, but nothing.
   I then contacted ZA and the agent said I should revert back to FF17, but when I researched that with Mozilla, it was strongly advised NOT to roll back to FF17 (I couldn't figure out how to do so at the FTP site anyway), so I got back to ZA and was told in January that a fix should be released in 2-3 weeks.
   It has been 6 weeks now and NOTHING from ZA.
   I just spent an hour on-line with ZA and eventually was told they may never release a fix so ZAPro will work with FF18...that agent today wouldn't give me any info, even whether they were working to fix it or not...his solution was to use IE which is something I will NOT do.
   I would just like to know whether Mozilla plans to work with Zonealarm to address this problem or not so I can try to decide what to do.
   I HATE browsing with no firewall, so the follow-up question is whether you are aware of some other firewall (preferably free) that I can ALSO use with my installed ZAPro firewall and incorporate that other firewall to just work with FF18 and allow ZAPro to be my primary firewall for all other protection.
   Any help would be appreciated because I'm thoroughly disgusted with ZA at this point for hanging me (and thousands of other FF users) out to dry with NO protection when browsing.
   Also, by using FF18 by itself with just an AV program (eset NOD32), what security exposure am I incurring by not having any firewall protection in place?

  OK, first of all, update Firefox 19. Then run the Zonealarm updates.

  Please note that the extension of Zonealarm does nothing for the impact on the security of your computer (zonealarm still work without the extension), and stay on an older version of Firefox is a security risk. Thus, for most security, be updated with Firefox and disabling extension of Zonealarm are more secure that obsolete in Firefox and Zonealarm

  As they don't understand the area of cropping and Bleedbox parameters so far that they are, in my opinion, useless in regards to printing.

  If you try to make prepress and correct page layout work in Photoshop, you can change to use the right tools for the task as Indesign.

  Suddenly spotted the device skips some plans of work in my PSD and all new added work plans are ignored.

  When you view work plans that are not the same width that your device, then grouping drag the artboard can become a bit complicated and the height of work plans determines the grouping of drag. Work plans shorter that the initially loaded work plan will be absent from the Group slide.  Ideally, it is best to view the work plans that have the same width as your device - the height of the work plan does not affect the groups drag like this.  If it is not possible to use a device that is the same width as your work plans (your case: work plans are 480 px wide and the iPhone 5 is 640 px wide), then the best solution for all work plans will appear in the same group of drag is to use the Nav menu and select the shortest work plan.  Then, if you are dragging, all work plans will appear in the Group of drag.

• I need to make a banner 300 inches wide, but it is defaulted to 224 inches.  How can you make your plan of work greater than the maximum allowed?

  I ned to do a banner 12' high x 25 ft wide.  The default width to 224 inches.  How can I extend this to my width?

  As SRiegel suggested above - I would half work to make things easy for you. So, make your plan of work 6' x 12.5 then output the file to 200%. See also the note above from messages on images.

• Duplicate the layers of a plan of work on another file

  I am having some problems of duplication of layers to a Committee of art on another photoshop file.
  Whenever I try to reproduce it sticks to the first Board of the art of the document. I'm trying to stick to the third Chamber of art in the document.

  Can someone give me an idea on how to place it on a specific Board?

  (Long answer, see shorter answer below)

  There are a few known issues when transferring content between two work plans in two different documents.

  1. we do not keep the relative xy position within the artboard when you drag layers in an old plan of work in an old document to a new work plan in a new document. The self-positioning code currently only works in the same document.

  2. When you drag layers from one document to another, if the destination layer is in a work plan, we adjust the destination to the top of the layers stack.

  The rationale for (2) is a complex: fall of layers added xy by position in the center of the view, regardless of the layer order insertion point. If we inserted just the layers in the order you choose, depending on the location of xy of the artboard (edge of the view, or even out of sight), the layers added wraps being entirely hidden outside the boundaries of the artboard (Hey! I dropped something in my document and nothing happened). It is a very bad behavior and it has side effects, as the layers come out of the artboard unexpectedly at a later time during editing. So we put the layers newly added at the top of the layer stack and let auto-nid - drop layers in different existing work plans. If the work plan of destination is located in the center of the view, the new layers would fall in this work plan. In the upper part.

  We could certainly better on (2) and have them inserted above the selected layer if they would be always visible, but we should solve also (1) first, and there are many cases that we need to worry.

  These two problems are currently on our list of work and should be considered bugs.

• The plans of work and the canvas color questions

  The preferred mode for work plans is:

  (1) preferences > performance > use the graphics processor = WE

  (2) the preferences > performance > avancΘs > draw = Advanced Mode

  (3) the RGB documents

  Other adjustments can result in a degraded experience. Work plans still work, but they can rate a part of the 'Visual' sugar

  You can drag to navigate and get an overview of the different work plans. Allows preview CC that slide you through work plans based on the width. For example, if you have a PSD that has plans to work for iOS of various sizes, and you connect an iPhone 5, overview CC will automatically display the work plan first iPhone 5. You can also select a specific work plan in the Nav app menu and navigate through work plans that correspond to the width of the selected one.
