  I have problem of permanent overheating with my laptop when running heavy tasks on my laptop (even while playing 1080 p h264 file is such task).

  So, with average CPU temperature of approximately 50% of charge going to ~ 80-90 degrees celsius and at one point goes to 100 and laptop stops automatically. I used several tools such as SpeedFan and HELPED to monitor the fan speed, temperature and it seems strange to me, this fan always runs at about 4000 RPM regardless of the temperature. It can speed up when I reset the PC, mainly before the OS is loaded, but then the speed drops quickly to the bottom.

  My bios is the latest available version - 2.30. I use Windows 7 Professional on my laptop with toshiba website device drivers. Also, using Matt cooling and it helps but only on a maximum cooling and it just keeps the temperature at about 90 degrees. Cooling system is clean enough, cleaned serving 5 months ago.

  It's hard to say: it turns out that fan table is stored in the BIOS and BIOS controls the activity of the fan.
  Fan table contains information on the temperature level and how the fan must operate if a temperature level has been reached.

  But to be honest that I put t think that your BIOS is damaged.
  In my opinion, you should go to BIOS and set its default value.

  Also change the cooling method in the Panel--> Power Options--> change the parameters of plan--> change power advanced--> TOSHIBA Power Saver Settings--> method of cooling performance of maxim

  I also recommend to put Intel Turbo boost Technology: disable. This can be done in the BIOS or in the configuration of HW TOSHIBA

  Hello, I have a Server 2008 OS and im trying to install it.

  It is a clean server with literally nothing about it. Pervious OS was Redhat.

  While trying to start the server will automatically try to boot to the CD after he tries to boot from everywhere else, but the problem is that it will not load the CD. Stuck everything when trying to load the CD "Windows is loading files.

  Sorry I'm more the Foglight person in my company I only get to see come to the forums to help out a colleague.

  Yes, we have entirely puppets running for our fglams and Wssf. It was boring, you're linux Debian or company founded? Quest unfortunately does not support standard deb/RPM, perferring an installer of owner. If you need make your own. I am happy to send you a copy of our 64 bit RPM. It's about 120 megs. Just throw it in your rest and you should be good to go. Ideally if you need to build your own to make sure that you can keep up-to-date with the latest agents and pieces of fglam.

  I recommend the staging of your cartridges in advance when you build the RPM. For us, it was worth the extra space in the RPM to compensate for the time that should be a cartridge via the script on the network. Using this method I have cartridge legacy/IC/Apache and customized all in place so I can save some deploy times. It is somewhat important in larger environments due to a problem known in Foglight on the deployment of wagons/creation and activation of agents the time it can take is VERY random.

  In our tests, we had 500 machines archive on a clean server FMS (5.6.4 at the time). Some would take 2-3 minutes to complete, some would take 20! PSO went to dev and they have never been able to understand why delays random when you start the agent script check in the back to the rear. But since you can't count on it fill inside your run time of the puppets you should reduce the time it takes.

  Don't forget that Foglight is not updated with the scale/config friendly management. They store a lot of config data in databases and use IDS in their configuration files that are made by ther FMS. Thus, it can be difficult to handle most things. You end up having to write a lot of execs once. Glad you sent a copy of our manifesto if you wish. I have just to sanatize it. I found it easier to do was run as a 'touch' inside a folder in the % fglam % of indiecate installation directory which have executed elements.

  One thing you might want to, is your vm.config scheduled start at the fglam. Then will happen. Otherwise you; He's eventually do custom made for your ID Agent Foglight who ends up being a nightmare. You can apply your logic of setting JVM at the time of installation. It won' just manageable tbe.

  You can create custom providers to exploit different groovy scripts, but honestly this isn't worth it unless you might be working for Quest PSO.   Another thing to remember as you automate you must ensure your FMS travels and erase data from all machines on its own topology. In my first POC run, I forgot about it and after about a month, the FMS ran terrible everything by supporting only 5000 guests. After I cleaned the topology and reset, there great. Since then, I just rule the kickoff to 4 hours to clean up the obsolete data and it has worked great since I did that.

  Hello, I'm new to BI Publisher and has been responsible for the installation. I did install Enterprise with 2 servers as follows:

  1. install the database Oracle and RCU to create 2 diagrams BI Publisher (Oracle Linux 6.6, Oracle 11.2.0.4 database). Listener is implemented, database is in place, installation was successful.

  2 BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.0 on Oracle Linux 6.6 installed. We were told by Oracle which support this facility (5 separate files downloaded from delivery) already include Weblogic and JDK. If I do not have those before installing BI Publisher. Basically, it was 'clean' server with nothing on it. This facility went well, past all the prereqs. Checked to make sure that the ports are open between the application server and the database server. I can TCPTRACEROUTE since the application server on the server of db on port 1521. Large. At the end of this installation, I received a message ' browser by default not found. Please specify the default browser ". " I have nothing in the documentation to this topic and finally google that this can be ignored. The other thing is that during the installation of the BI Publisher application, on a first screen where it asks to select the location of the inventory, I have not selected 'continue the installation with the local inventory ', but instead asked our admin to run CreateCentralInventory.sh

  So the installation was successful, as far as I can tell. But I get "Page not found" for everything - xmlpserver, weblogic console, etc. So basically nothing works (I'm trying to access it via my browser on my local machine, NOT the application server). I'm on VPN if it makes a difference and be able to access the server app and db without any problem)

  I checked the following and ran into some issues (probably due to the lack of experience of Weblogic on my part). I've stopped and started WLS via the startWeblogic.sh script. I then stopped/started server managed through startManagedWeblogic.sh both started very well that I get (managed server):

  ' Go to ' should be explicit enough already, although I can understand how some can be confused with the option 'delete '.

  First, it is important to understand the functioning of the snapshots. New to virtualization assumes that there is a kind of copy but this isn't how it works. When you create a snapshot, it only creates a new file of virtual disk of delta containing only the changes since the snapshot was created. The original vmdk file will be marked read-only, and all entries will go to your delta file.

  As you the thought, "Deleting" a snapshot with VMware terms delta is merged into the original vmdk and you will not be able to return to the previous state more.

  ' Go to ' or 'come back' will change to the selected state when a snapshot was created. This also effectively "removes" or rather ignores the current delta running, then you will not be able to re - return to this new State unless you create another cliché. Instead a new empty delta is created with the ignition and filled with subsequent changes. So that means also means your snapshot is not "removed" when you come back, as it will just start from 0.

  I am recovering a database of strictly my compressed RMAN backup files. This is mainly to test backups.
  Backups are handled through jobs on EM Grid - a Sundays L0 and L1 throughout the week with a window of 7 days recovery.

  Quit the application server, and then open the XML file

  ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.Server.v4.plist

  with a text editor like BBEdit/TextWrangler or with nano in the Terminal. (the file is always named v4 - even if your.app is v5.x)

  In this file, you will find a beginning of area with the key 'recent servers"followed by a table, then a dict for all servers in your list.

  Just remove all the areas of the dict to the servers that you want to remove from your list (including < dict > < / dict >), save the file, launch the.app again and there you go.

  The other alternative is, you just rename or delete the file and start from scratch.

  I'll have some very frustrating problems with permissions in the Group shared on mac server folders. When I create a new set of permissions at the top of the folder hierarchy and spread so it seems just create another copy permissions in all folders under the root rather than deleting the previous permissions and write those I want to set up. In other words, I end up with several sets of permissions by user for each folder and file.

  So the question I'm asking is how to clean all these permissions to all folders and files and start again?

  The main issues I'm having, it's that I have even with full administrative rights'm get denied permission to open files and save them to the server.

  My server is running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, version 5.1 Server mac

  The simplest (and usually faster) is to clean up you permissions to use the chmod of the Terminal command.  If your ACL multiply in an uncontrolled manner (please not that some versions of Office for Windows, used to cause this) you can quickly delete all the ACL, and then start again.  To do this, follow these steps:

  1: stop all services of files to ensure that no one is change data while you work on it.

  2: remove all ACLs by using this command (replace with the actual path to the data):

  sudo chmod-r n/path/to/your/share

  This will remove all the ACLs for all files and folders/path/to/your/share and recurse to everything in the folder.

  Now, if you think that your POSIX permissions are Leech, you can also reset this with two orders of the handle.  To restore all standard directories umask, use:

  sudo find/path/to/your/share-type d - exec chmod 755 ().

  To restore all files standard umask, use:

  sudo find/path/to/your/share-type f-exec chmod 644 ().

  Note: Your permissions model may be more restrictive and some workflows rely on the limitation by POSIX.  If so, these commands do not be what you want.

  And there you have it.  The three commands above can remove all ACLs and set all folders to 755 (drwxr-xr-x) and all files to 644 (- rw - r - r-).

  Once you reset data, return to Server.app > sharing or.app > server > storage and assign your permissions.

To clarify, many clones can be opened simultaneously for connection purposes, but that a user never interacts with the instruments that are not themselves reentrant).

  If the user clicks on my Logout button in their browser, it is trivial to close these instruments other, independent and properly clean.  But if the user simply click on the red X in their browser, it is non-stop and the instruments that the clone called stay open on the server, when they close.

  My experience so far:

  No close panel? event seems to be triggered in the clone.  The clone simply cease to be.

  The remote_panel_connections property doesn't seem to work properly in this case (I have not had luck so far), since it is possible that more than a clone to be active and that the main parent who is spawning clones stays running, but is not interacted with in some way.

  What I need:

  One way for the clone of VI recognize that the user has closed his browser and communicate that it closes all the assets of VI before ending.

  I would like to avoid forcing the instruments that the clone call to constantly query to see if the VI clone is present on the network.  If there is no other solution, but this, I would appreciate a suggestion as to the intensive way less code and resources to implement this type of interrogation, as the instruments are really designed to be totally independent after they are called, rather than under vi.

  When a VI stops running, any reference as a queue is also cancelled.  You can make use of this fact.  If your original clone VI could launch a second reentrant VI, which remains active, you could channel all communications to the instruments via VI second using a queue created in the first.  When the first VI disappears, it will trigger an error waiting waiting VI in the second (no vote office is involved).  The second VI can take all the necessary measures.

  My question is possible to manually remove updates without installing diskcleanup on my 2008 R2 Windows server or any other server.  The reason is that they said that install diskcleanup causes the disk compression so I need to find alternative solutions to clean up the disk space.  I recently downloaded TreeSize Pro (freeware) on my Windows 7 computer to test.  The program works well by showing you which files are used, but it seems the Winsxs folder is a good place to start, or maybe it isn't.  I just basically want to delete files on another server of companies without users calling to complain that they lack shortcuts etcs and need a place to start.
