  You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

  You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
  • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

  Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

"do not display older e-mails that...". 1 week, 1 month, etc.)

  Until recently, when I open Oulook Express, I'd get a screen telling me how many emails that are UNREAD.  I would then click the UNREAD and I'd get a panel showing all the emails in the order in which they came from my ISP.  Now, however, when I open OUTLOOK EXPRESS, I get immediately the last email rec'vd and the only way I can see others, is to remove the one that is open.  I am running XP-Professional and anti-virus from Symantec.  This change seemed to arise as a result of a routine compaction and update my Symantec anti-virus.  I tried to 'uninstall' OUTLOOK EXPRESS by unchecking in 'Add/Remove Windows components' and then 'install' again by checking the box, but he always reacts the same way.  Is it possible that OUTLOOK EXPRESS has somehow been corrupted?  For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

  OE uncheck in Add/Remove removes only the access and nothing else. Compaction is a necessary process and unless you have actually lost messages, I doubt it was that. It is more likely Symantec which is least friendly OE AV program there. All that said, follow these steps.
   
  1: view | Current view. Make sure Show all Messages is the only option that is checked.
   
  2: Try in a new identity. You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.
   
  Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

  If you have problems to view the Telugu contents on Internet Explorer, you can add the language Telugu in Internet Options in language preferences as described below:

  • Press the Windows key + R.
  • Type inetcpl.cpl in the immediate window and press ENTER.
  • On the general tab, click languages under the appearance section.
  • Click on Add.
  • In the language list, select Telugu (India) .
  • Click OK.

  Check if the problem persists.

  On the other hand, if you want to display Windows fonts in Telugu, you try to install the Pack of Telugu language from the following link and check if you are able to view the Telugu fonts.

• WMP does not display all of the content of the flash player

  I have a Dell Inspiron 620 with Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1.  I have synced 10GB of music on a flashdrive 16 GB genre: 'Sixties' "Seventies", "Jazz", "Guitar", "Fifty", "Latin", and so-forth. I looked at the progress of synchronization, just to be sure, and it's all about the drive. When I try to view the content, less than half of the kind is displayed by WMV, but it displays all ten in the edition of Windows XP of WMP. I have tried different brands of flashdrives, samey-same, no joy.

  Physically, I can open the player and display content, but this WMP is not 'read' more than four of the ten kind I put in place. Is this a known problem, and if so is there a solution for this? I tried to 'reconstruction' of WMP, once again no joy. I activated the option "Show-hidden-files-and-folders, nada...» "I also tried the link Windows Fixit with zero luck. Should I empty this drive and get a previous series?

  Needless to day, I installed the latest version. I even reinstalled using the link in the message, but nothing helped. Whenever I click on the link to go forward, I get the same message. Question: (i) is it my PC/software (Vista), (ii) is the site where I'm trying to submit the form, or (iii) is it the software acrobat reader. Note that I used successfully the last version to fill out and sign forms.

  It is none of them. It's Chrome, which is ignoring Adobe Reader and showing the message.

  Solution: just save the document (with the message) to your desktop. Then open it in Adobe Reader. The 'real' should then display.

  We test our website in BrowserLab, and while the entire page loads vertical, not all content is displayed on the sides. Text is cut off. The "screen" in BrowserLab is set up to display only a certain width? Our content expands to fit the browser full screen. I think that BrowserLab has a standard resolution (1024 pixels)... Is this the case?

  Yes, this is the case. BrowserLab is currently a static resolution limited to 1024 wide. Currently, there is no way to set the resolution. We are looking into this in the past and, perhaps surprisingly, is not a simple feature to implement. However, I will pass this post along to our product manager as a feature request for this.

  Check the data source settings in the CF administrator. Make sure that the CLOB parameter (enable Long Text Retrieval) is checked.  When this box is _not_ checked, CF retrieves only the 64000 bytes.
