  You don't play the scene. The scene is just a container for the whole object. What you want is to play the root (or hand) timeline.

  To play the root timeline (or any scenario really) anywhere, without having to worry about the use of references, parent.parent.parent etc, store a global reference to the timeilne. On the first image of the timeline root, put something like:

  thisIsTheRootTimeline = this;

  Then in the event handler, follow these steps:

  HEY Warren,

  Usually, when a BIOS update is interrupted, it causes the CMOS become none-functional chip. This will result in the laptop being unable to start up so that the update can be tried again.

  The only option at this point is to take (or send) the laptop to authorized service center which has the necessary equipment for re-flashing the CMOS with the latest BIOS chip.

• When you print an e-mail message, it displays only a quarter of the page and then another quarter of page in the next and following pages.

  My printer works perfectly on all other programs, but when I print an e-mail message from windows mail it only prints on one quarter of the page.   1. in my captivate project: I have a question, 3 replies, 3 possible attempts and only one correct answer. If the wrong answer user, there are gray hightlight, which should apears on my chosen wrong answer in a box and stay there to mark already selected response and there is also an animation of text "Sorry, your answer is not correct." under the quiz (on the same blade), who appears the error message instead. No problem, it works, I made a script for it, which is attached to each wrong answer (in edit the Question > advanced (responses) > execute advanced measures). But the problem is with the right answer (it shows text animation "Congratulations!" and the hightlight green box). If I specify the event on the right answer, and then send the correct answer, it shows the hightlight, animating text box, but it does not continue to the next slide! It stucks despite settings change the Question > Options > (if correct) Action: go to the next slide). If I add new statement to my script, which is "Go to the next slide" and then click on the right answer, she immediately move to the next page and does not display the box hightlight and animating text. How can I wait until the duration of the animation ends and after that go to the next slide?

  Add a statement "Continues" at the end of your script, otherwise you will need to click on Skip to go to the next slide.

• Captivate 7 - Quiz questions take a long time to advance to the next

  So I have completed my course. All along (each slides or so) I quiz questions that are classified but undeclared. They are simply there to prepare the student for the final exam. They have the opportunity to submit the response followed legends correct and incorrect.   I understand it is going to be some delay while the system reports the score for each slide, but this seems abnormally long. This shift occurs in preview mode, scormcloud and during a test on a LMS (Gyrus) client.

  Any idea on why this is and how to prevent it. It's really hard to ask my customers to be patient and stay there for 10 seconds every single issue. I need them to take the final exam at their own pace - fast or slow.
