& quot; Roll over & quot; Links

I want that all my links to be black at any time except when I roll over, then I want them to be white,

I changed the "roll-over" links to white in 'Page properties', it works very well. But as soon as I change "visited links" of a different color from that of standard roll on the won´t of links become more white.

Is there a way to fix this?

This means that your rules are in the wrong order. All other things being equal,
later rules override the previous rules. If you were specifying all four link
accurate, you would do them in this order:

link
visited
hover
assets

If you do things via the tabs in DW and not to look at the code CSS,
specify the rules visited before specifying the rules of hover.

You work directly with the CSS at all? You find that you are a: visited
code and move it.

You need this:

a: visited {}
[your rules]
}

over this:

a: hover {}
[your rules]
}

Do not forget to copy / paste the entire rule, including the closing curly
media.

  • Roll Over and URLS

    Hello

    I'm new to Flash and I have a problem that was so irritating for weeks. I did a few roll over buttons in fireworks and imported into Flash as a clip. When I test the roll over page work fine. Problem is as soon as I add the behavior to go to a Web page, the button ceases to be a roll over, but the link works. I can't seem to find how to get to the reversal and the link to work together.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    I actually got it to work properly with this code:

    function gotoCompsPage(event:MouseEvent):void
    {
    var CompsURL:URLRequest = new URLRequest (" http://www.targatasmania.com.au/Competition/info.php");
    navigateToURL (CompsURL, "_self");
    }

    comp_mc.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoCompsPage);

  • When I hover over a link, Firefox adds the site before my link makes it bad.

    I was check the compatibility of my site. So I opened http://www.sethermal.com. It was fine until I flew over a link. Firefox has added the site and broke the link.

    For example.
    I entered the address bar www.sethermal.com . The site came fine.
    I hover over the 'Site Map' link on my page. Link is http://www.sethermal.com/pages/site-map.html
    Before clicking on the link, I looked down and Firefox shows www.sethermal.com/-www.sethermal.com\pages\site-map.html
    When I click on the link of course I 404 page not found

    Why is this happening?

    These links have a backslash instead of a slash.
    Firefox is not so forgiving as other browsers and treats a backslash as a character valid and thus prefixes links with the URL of the page.

  • I don't see the overview of URL that you get when you hover over a link. Why?

    Until today, when I flew over my cursor a link, a preview of the URL of the link appears at the bottom left of my screen, above the Start button (I use Windows Vista). Currently when I hover over a link, no preview appears, so I do not know the web address where I'm going when I click on the link. I thought that maybe this was due to the update to Firefox 19.0, but my friends who have also updated say they can still see the URL preview. Did somehow turn off the preview of the URL by chance? If so, how can I turn it back on? If this is not the case, why is it gone?

    I still see the URL previews! I don't know exactly why; He could have just a weird blip on my end. Thanks for your help!

  • How can I see the full target URL when I hover over a link? Not a short URL.

    How can I see the full target URL when I hover over a link? I don't want to see short URL. Is there a way to customize this?

    Full target URL allowing me to easily see how visitors reached my site via Google, Bing, Yahoo Research, etc. With the short URL I don't see what they entered into the search field.

    You can use this extension to restore the characteristics of loss of status bar and customize settings such as displaying the URL of a link to the overview.

    When I place the cursor over a link means that there not respond.for ex when I opened my email yahoo, I can't signout in that.when I hover over signout what it na no respond.but in another browser it answer.

    This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

    You can keep an eye on this thread:

  • the ToolTip that fleet upward when you hover over a link with a mouse works erratically if said the link is in the lower left corner of web page

    So the title says pretty much everything that, but I would stay again.

    There is a small balloon that floats to the top in the lower left corner of the browser window when you hover over a link on a page with a mouse. The address of the link leads, indicates in the ToolTip.
    However, if the link in question is in the lower left corner of the Web page, the ToolTip floats high above right. Then he disappears to reappear a few milliseconds later. This blinking persists; You can neither do address or click on the link. By pressing several times shows RMB RMB menu for the link, which finally allows you to copy the link location and paste it into the address bar.

    Try disabling the Redirect Remover extension if you have. Disabling this extension worked for me which allows the address bar that appears at the bottom left when you move to a link to the right in certain situations.

    Hello.

    I'm looking to create a navigation menu (simple rectangles with text) in which the role active and several indicate the box will be larger in height.

    I wish well for on roll over the button to magnify and others to shrink, then for there great when selected.

    In the example below, this is what I want it to look for the apps page.

    I'm stuck as the menu widget only allows them to be on only one size. Any ideas how I can achieve this?

    Kind regards

    You can add effects to an active state on the menu which items when in active State will show different from the menu SUP normal items.

  • How to make a text box appear in a PDF file in InDesign CC when the cursor rolls over another area of text?

    I'm doing a text box appears in a PDF document in InDesign when the cursor of the user hovers over an another textbox, and I want it to disappear when the cursor moves off the coast of the first text box. I tried the following with adjustment of various, and it does everything just for me.

    Display a different button on turnover

    You can create a hotspot in which clicking or mousing over an object contains another object. To do this, create two buttons, hide one of the buttons and use the show/hide button action to show and hide the button target.

    • Create an object to use as the "source" button. In the buttons Panel, click the icon of the object to convert to A button.

    • Place the image you want to use as the button target and convert it to a button.

    • Select the target image and select hidden until this that triggered at the bottom of the Panel buttons.

      The image must be hidden in the exported document that can be displayed when the "source" button is clicked or wriggle on.

    • Click the source button and create two different actions, one for show the image target and target the other to hide the image.

      If you want the image to appear when the mouse is over the button source, use events on Roll Over and On Roll Off. If you want the image to appear when you click on the source button and disappear when you release, use events on a click and release. In both cases, use the show/hide action buttons to show or hide the target button. See the interactive buttons.

    • Use the Preview Panel to test the buttons.

    Should work...  On your last point (not 12?) I get the feeling that you have exported your doc as Adobe PDF (Print)? You must instead use (Interactive) Adobe PDF...

  • How to hide the Alt description when you hover over your links?

    I was told that you must have a description for images, links to just about everything. But when I saw my Web site and hover over the links, a yellow box will appear with the description of the images. How can I hide this?

    You're seen with an old (very old?) version of Internet Explorer, which is the only browser on earth that does what you describe.  All other browsers follow the rules and leave only alt attribute values (what they do).

    You can choose to ignore it, or 'kill' by adding a title attribute which is empty, for example,

    foo

    In addition, you add alt attributes to images for accessibility reasons.  People who browse with images turned off (and there are) or the people who use the devices and accessories functional screen (screen readers) need some indication that there is a picture in the place where they are to search/playback.  Therefore, you only want to add content to these alt attributes, where it is important to the message of the page (that is, a cosmetic image only would just a value of an empty alt attribute). And you only need them for pictures, not for any other element of the page...

  • disable the roll-over-color in the list

    Hello

    I would only use roll-over-text-color in my list, but have no roll-over-color at all. Is there a way to kill the roll over color and selection color?

    Thank you

    @upshotvideo,

    For mx:List, I think Harui suggests something like the following:

    package comps {
        import flash.display.Sprite;

        import mx.controls.List;
        import mx.controls.listClasses.IListItemRenderer;

        public class NoHighlightList extends List {
            public function NoHighlightList() {
                super();
            }

            override protected function drawHighlightIndicator(indicator:Sprite, x:Number, y:Number, width:Number, height:Number, color:uint, itemRenderer:IListItemRenderer):void {
                // super.drawHighlightIndicator(indicator, 0, y, unscaledWidth - viewMetrics.left - viewMetrics.right, height, color, itemRenderer);
            }
        }
    }
