  Then here's the client asking for new requirements. Instead of 11 GR 1 material, her force us to upgrade to DB 11 GR 2 and then BECAUSE he huhuhhu

  can you tell that one to CARS to single instance using filesystem cook. ?

  As already said, there is no specific notes covering the cloning of the CARS with no CARS. Use the old note to clone non RAC with no CARS and the second to clone of CARS at the RAC.

• Unable to connect to Oracle Apps R12

  I have an Oracle Instance R12 installed on my laptop (middle-tier and the database). When I tried to launch the executable form in the responsibility of the system administrator after login, I got the following error:

  FRM-92102: A network error has occurred. Customer Forms attempted to re-establish its connection to the Server 5 times without success. Please check the network connection and try again later.

  I googled on this topic and found that changing networkretries setting helps.

  I changed the parameter networkretries in the file $ORACLE_HOME/forms/server/formsweb.cfg of 0 to 30.

  After that, I stopped the instance (adstpall.cmd) and started (adstrtal.cmd) again.

  Now, when I run the (IE) browser and try to connect to the Oracle Apps instance, it gives me the following error:

  HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

  The website cannot display the page

  HTTP 500

  Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

  Manual updates to the configuration files are to be avoided - AutoConfig should take care of everything, from where you are now I would say stopping and running again AutoConfig to see if that lets you go back to a working configuration.

  You have not specified the R12 version, so I think that you have loaded an out-of-the 12.1.1 box on your laptop to test?

  If I remember well 12.1.1 comes with JRE6 in the techstack, but is not the patch of Sun JRE interoperability (4377566) previously applied, it's something to check.

  The forms out-of-the-box technology stack also needs the additional fixes to make it compatible JRE7.

• Missing R12.1.3 directory appsutil/clone

  EBS R12.1.3 running on Linux RH (no CARS).

  Two levels of configuration with DB on server 1 and CCM, admin, forms, etc. on a 2nd Server.

  I'm about to change server and domain name and don't speak Doc-ID 1277556.1

  1 DB level

  What I noticed is that I'm missing in the subdirectory appsutil clone when he says to run adclonectx.pl.

  Now, I just recently upgraded this instance of 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 and if I compare to others

  I see that they do not have the subdirectory clone so I wonder now what I as the cases step I must have missed.

  I have:

  -Run 'perl $AD_TOP/bin/admkappsutil.pl' on my app level

  -copied the appsutil.zip of the $ORACLE_HOME of file he created at my level of db

  -Unzip o appsutil.zip

  -run perl adbldxml.pl

  - and run perl adconfig.pl

  So I don't see that generates scripts, install, subdirectories outside and temporary but no clone folder.

  It looks like I can just as easily to edit my file of context, but I was wondering why this would be?

  I searched for a few other posts like this, but nothing seems to match.

  Looks like I just need to run 'perl adpreclone.pl dbTier?

  I got it from [603883.1 ID], which is similar, but are talking about adding an alias host name.

  You must run the script before clone on the new House.

  CD $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/scripts /.

  Perl adpreclone.pl dbTier

  You may also need to run the applications pane if you have not done recently:

  CD /admin/scripts /.

• R12.2 - Rapidwiz

  Hai All,

  We are in the process of upgrading 12.1.3 to r12.2.

  Question 1:

  We are currently building file systems. Is it really necessary to connectivity to the database as establishing the file system takes more than 5 hours to complete the attack delay overall downtime.

  2nd question is that, according to the upgrade guide, below.

  Run quick install with the Setup option to complete the configuration after the R12.2 upgraded the application of the hotfix.

  I have provided for the file system now and before applying the American pilot 12.2, that I need to run with the configuration option rapidwiz. Thus, quick wiz should be performed 3 times:

  (a) rapidwiz to set the FS

  (b) immediately with the configuration option rapidwiz

  (c) once in American car is completed, run rapidwiz with the configuration option

  Pls correct me if am wrong.

  It requires no connection to the existing database of EBS, and this step can be done while the current system of EBS is running - see step 4 to http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26401_01/doc.122/e48839/T579510T580873.htm#T580954

  The key word in that sentence is "after" - you will need to rerun rapidwiz completion of the upgrade driver 12.2 - see upgrade to version 12.2Upgrading to release 12.2

  Thanks for the reply.  I have now moved this, but suspect I have has not correctly set permissions for group I was moving autour patches using the root.  Subsequent patches that I took care and chown, chgrp properly and they all went through fine.

• Clone error ebs r12

  I use ebs r12 12.1.3 and unique db 11.2.0.3 on OUL5x64
  database using OMF file system
  cloning of database level using quick clone and still get this error.
  
  RMAN-03009: failure of the backup command on the channel ORA_DISK_1 at 14/12/2012 11:26:10
  ORA-01276: cannot add files u01/clone/DB/data/stage/o1_mf_system_8cldc5bg_.dbf. File has a file name of Oracle managed files.

• Session of forms taking a lot of CPU to R12

  There are in our production server of the EBS R12 session of forms that take a lot of cpu on nodes which increases CPU load to 99%.
  
  The part of command topas shows the following o/p

  So I have to kill these forms (kill-9 1233124 in above case) session to reduce load
  
  
  I know that this is not normal. Depending on the configuration of the server, we have:
  
  Database: Database 11g (11.2.0.1.0) on node 2 RAC
  Application: 2 node R12 (12.1.2)
  Operating system: Aix 6.1 power

  I'm in the middle of the reclassification of 11i to R12. I know that the entire process of the R12 11i upgrade and I did a few times successfully.   No, adpatch of use without option because you will need to copy and generate the files in the patch you downloaded from the e-Delivery Web site.
