random and repeated reboots failed

My precision t3500 was works very well for years but now started failing. I guess that the food goes wrong, but that's just a guess. Normally, the machine is always on, running Xubuntu 12.04, with also the value always on power options. Recently, she closes all night. Try to restart sometimes works, get completely past login and the restoration of the previous session. Then, however, at some random time, hours, or minutes, "logout/stop" dialog box appears, and before it's time to react, the machine stops, or rather attempts to restart. She starts by occurs then, 3-4 flashes on then off, 1, 2 and the network indicator, then it seems to restart once again, several times. Go power - off, in this case too, some of the indicators flash on, then off, and next, then a 'click' of food (I think) and it starts again, the same way over and over.

This sounds like a power failure unit?

Or would it be sim (s) wrong?

How long is a power unit expected to last?

Hello

Yes. I replaced the power supply and that fixed it for me...

See you soon,.

    Hello

You really need to contact the seller and the manufacturer of system support. In OEM for system

BCCode: 0x0000007f with the parameter 00000008 7f usually means a hardware problem.

Have you added a hardware or drivers updated recently? Check Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it just before what is going on has begun.

For 7f - this could be a problem of material such as uncomfortable cards or memory, although it
are other causes. Power electric low could also lead to this. Use the above troubleshooting utilities
and below and when you get to the drivers and segments of memory see below then
    go back troubleshooting if necessary.

If a PC remove ALL power. Opening the case, remove and reinstall all memory cards and ALL
cable (try not just to close) on both ends if they are accessible and on the device ends if
No (remove the cables and the relocation of their aid to eliminate minor corrosion). On a laptop
on everything that can be done is to reinstall the memory.

Notice the 08 (double fault) as 1st parameter means there are likely two causes. Do not forget
to update your drivers manually by using Windows updates only detects certified pilots and
Microsoft and the manufacturers are far behind in this process. Update the BIOS of the card NETWORK, WiFi, and
    Display/video and other important factors.

If a laptop or a PC, you will need to take a shop (not BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or
Support from the manufacturer of your system.

BCCode: 7F 0x0000007F which is the same as 0x1000007F

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP bug control has a value of 0x0000007F. This bug check indicates that the Intel CPU generated a trap and the kernel could not catch this trap.

This trap might be a bound trap (a trap the kernel is not allowed to capture) or a double foul (an error occurred during the processing of an earlier fault, which always results in a failure of the system).

Important info if you received a STOP Code

If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.

If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.

These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:

    1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
    2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
    3. Check your hard drive for errors.

    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP parameters

The first parameter that is displayed on the blue screen indicates the number of trap.

The most common trap codes are the following:

    • 0x00000000 or division by zero error, indicates that a DIV instruction is executed and the divisor is zero. Memory corruption, other hardware problems or software failures can cause this error.

    • 0 x 00000004, or overflow, occurs when the processor executes a call to an interrupt handler when the overflow (OF) is flag set.

  • 0x00000005, or limits check fault, indicates that the processor, then executing a BOUND instruction, determines that the operand exceeds the specified limits. A BOUND instruction ensures that a signed array index is within a certain range.

  • 0 x 00000006 or Opcode not valid, indicates that the processor attempts to execute an invalid instruction. This error occurs generally when the instruction pointer is corrupted and point to the wrong address. The most common cause of this error is hardware memory corruption.

  • 0x00000008 or Double fault, indicates that an exception occurs during a call to the previous exception handler. In general, two exceptions are handled in series. However, there are several exceptions that cannot be handled serially, and in this case, the processor signals a double fault. There are two common causes of a double fault:
    • A kernel stack overflow. This overrun occurs when a cover page is hit, and the kernel tries to push a frame. Because there is no battery left, a stack overflow results, causing the double fault. If you think that this presentation has taken place, use ! thread to determine the limits of the stack, and then use KB (display Stack Backtrace) with an important parameter (for example, 100 KB) to display the full stack.
    • A hardware problem.
  • Less common trap codes are:

    • 0x00000001 - a system call - debugger

    • 0 x 00000003 - a breakpoint in the debugger

    • 0 x 00000007 - a statement of material with no present coprocessor coprocessor

    • 0x0000000A - has corrupted Task State Segment

    • 0x0000000B - access to a memory segment that was not present

    • 0x0000000C - access to memory beyond the limits of a stack

    • 0x0000000D - an exception not covered by another exception; a protection fault concerning violations of access to applications

For other numbers of trap, see an Intel architecture manual.

    Cause

0x7F bug check occurs after the installation of a faulty or incompatible hardware (including memory) or if installed hardware fails.

A double fault can occur when the kernel stack overflows. This overflow occurs if multiple drivers are attached to the same battery. For example, if two file system filter drivers are associated to the same stack and then again the recursively of file system, the capacity of the battery.

    Resolution

Debugging: Always start by the ! analyze extension.

If this extension is not sufficient, use the debugger kv (display Stack Trace) command.

After using one of these commands, reuse kv to display the new battery.

Troubleshooting: If you have recently added the material to the computer, remove to see if the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component. Run the diagnostics of material that does not have the system manufacturer supplies to determine which hardware component.

The scanner memory is particularly important. Faulty or incompatible memory can cause this bug check. For more information on these procedures, see the manual of your computer. Check that all the cards in the computer are well calibrated. Use an ink eraser or electrical contact treatment, available in electronic supply stores, to ensure the adapter card contacts are clean.

If the error appears on a newly installed system, check the availability of updates for BIOS, SCSI, or card network controller. These updates are generally available on the Web site or the hardware manufacturer BBS.

Check that all hard disks, controllers, hard drive and the SCSI adapters are compatible with the installed version of Windows. For example, you can get information about compatibility with Windows 7 in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

If the error occurred after the installation of a new or updated device driver, you should remove or replace the driver. If, in this circumstance, the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with NTFS, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console in order to access the file.

Also to restart your computer and press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system. In the menu of Advanced Options , select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when you add a single driver or service at a time.

Overclocking (setting of the CPU to run at a speed higher than the nominal specification) can cause this error. If you have overclocked to the computer that is experiencing the error, return the CPU to default clock speed setting.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver that generated the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve the problem.

If you have encountered this error during the upgrade to a new version of the Windows operating system, the error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version. If possible, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable all antivirus before upgrade you. Contact the software manufacturer for updates of these tools. Also, make sure that you have installed the latest Windows Service Pack.

Finally, if all of the steps above do not resolve the error, take the system motherboard to a repair for the diagnostic facility. A crack, a scratched trace, or a defective component on the motherboard can also cause this error.

  • Black Vista screen falls down randomly and sometimes at startup

My problem seems to be quite unique =

I sometimes get a black screen crash when you play WoW, and sometimes Vista will not start and lead me to a black screen at startup.  These problems can be corrected by restarting the computer - there are however sometimes many restarts to get the system starts again.

IV tried to update my video card, my monitor drivers drivers, cleaning of my drive C, did a LOT of research google about the problem as possible and I'm not sure what the cause is right, it could be a videocard related, or maybe not.

I am running Windows Vista x 64 Home.
Modern stuff Quad Core CPU, 8 GB of Ram.

    Hello

Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way?

To be able to remove ALL and reinstall all memory cards and cables (both ends) - actually delete
and replace - do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the vents. Check that the
fans of work (before and after opening the case). If a laptop on what you can do is reinstall
memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add a small fan as a test).

This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need help
a real computer store (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores) or the
    Support of system Maker.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

    Hello

Blue error screen is mainly related to the driver problem. However, it might be also due to hardware problems. The blue screen error message may or may not contain useful information but the file record of emptying to the smallest set of useful information that may help identify why your computer behaves as such. • Last second audio skips and repeats after upgrade 2015.3

    The question:

Hello everyone. I just upgraded to 2015.3 and have noticed a problem since. When I made a file (file > export > "Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue") the last second or two of the audio track bounces and repeats. It's a workflow I've used for several years without problem until today.

    Troubleshooting:

I checked triple file hearing and resulting. WAV to ensure that the question was not there. I ran the audio by itself through the SOUL and it is fine. I dropped videos I did with slightly different parameters directly in the SOUL, and it travels very well. But when I export EI by SOUL - no matter what presets that I use in SOUL - the audio Bobbles in the end.

As an experiment I did a long model of twenty second with audio long ten seconds followed. When I made the comp, the result was interesting - even though the audio file was only ten seconds of time, the last second of the audio track repeat endlessly through all twenty seconds.

I deleted all my _AME folders, rebooted my Mac, created a new AE comp to scrape, interrupted audio, and had made the same question. (I was kind of hoping it would be a memory issue).

The question seems to exist that in the link between AE and SOUL, but for the life of me, I can't find a setting to shake the bug...

    Technical information:

27-inch iMac 2011 Mid, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM, OS X El Capitan v 10.11.5. I use version 2015.3 of the creative cloud, downloaded and installed last night.

AE Comp settings (it is not editable because the company I work for has very strict guidelines): 1920 x 858, Square Pixels, 24 frames per second, full resolution, comps are every twenty seconds.

Parameters of the SOUL (even once, it cannot be changed according to the requirements of the company): H.264, audio and video, export 1920 x 858 (1.0) 24 fps, progressive VBR, 2 pass, target 20.00 Mbps Max 22.00 Mbps, AAFC, 256 kps, 48 kHz, stereo. The only 'effect' that we use is vital - "Normalization of loudness" using the standard ATSC A/85 (LUFS-24).

Any help would be appreciated - my workload is very heavy and the deadlines are tight. I have a good number of files requiring rendering in the next few days...

There is a bug in after effects CC 2015.3 (13.8) where export your composition via Adobe Media Encoder cannot make audio correctly. Audio can be repeated at the end. It's only a problem with the audio, the video is not affected.

The After Effects team is aware of this problem and is working on a fix. Until that is available, we recommend that you either:

    • Export with audio compositions using the queue of rendering in After Effects for an intermediate file (e.g., QuickTime with the GoPro CineForm, Avid DNxHD/HR or Apple ProRes codecs) and then transcode the file in the final format using SOUL. (Look at the SOUL records are very useful for this).
    • Install After Effects and SOUL CC 2015.2 and export with audio compositions using this version of the SOUL. Project files saved by after effects CC 2015.3 are compatible with previous versions of CC 2015 (a few new features, of course, won't be available). You can either add the composition in the interface of the SOUL, or open after effects CC 2015.2 (13.7) and use the add to the command queue SOUL there.

    Our apologies regarding this bug.

(Under the hood: the problem is with the new audio architecture, which does not take into account segment size which requires of the SOUL for audio encoding.) The length of the composition should correspond to a multiple of the segment size requested, there will be no problem, but in most cases, the length of the composition does not match a multiple of what awaits the SOUL and SOUL filled the rest with audio Rassi is still in the buffer).
