Random error messages

I worked on my second game for several weeks now and am starting just around the corner and the finish line is in sight.

Unfortunately, it's when everything seems to be falling apart.

Now when I run my program, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it gives me errors.  It is not that I am trying to change anything, I tested it several times in a row and sometimes I get 1 error, sometimes I get 5, sometimes it runs great.

The following are the errors:

"

/ Documents/Flash_Projects/PotN/bgImage.as, line 111021: duplicate function definition.

On an empty class which is only defined and added to the stage in main.as

and

/ Documents/Flash_Projects/PotN/spark.as, line 15000: the class 'spark' must subclass 'flash.display.MovieClip' because it is linked to a symbol in the library of this type.

On various parts of the game that worked very well so far and continue to work very well sometimes.

One thing that is interesting is that in my library, my MovieClips properties contains an empty base class.  When I try to change to say 'flash.display.MovieClip', flash tells me this is a native class and is defined when running.  That seems inconsistent to me, but of course I'm still very, very new to all this.

So that's my problem.  I haven't posted a code yet because I don't even know where to start.  Thoughts or ideas are appreciated, thank you!

What's on line 11 of the bgImage.as?

I think your other error will disappear on its own when you fix the first error. If this isn't the case, it means that you have an external code on a way that Flash does not find where she expects.

Note this standard for ActionScript coding convention must begin the class with a capital letter names. For example BgImage.as and Spark.as.  You can also try to define the Basic Classes for the class you are using rather than the class.

  • error message random popup re: iCloud

Since last week, I received an error message popup on my desk random. He says: "This Mac cannot connect to iCloud due to a problem with '[email protected]'." Preferences iCloud open on this issue.

I give myself two choices - click on 'Later' or 'preferences iCloud.

After trying to change my preferences, it asks me my password. (I guess to iCloud, however, I've never implemented).

Frankly, I don't feel at this point type in ANY password in case some j@ck@ss trying to hack me.

To provide a little more background, I called the Apple Support last week and explained what was going on. He thought that perhaps malware, so I downloaded and ran a MalwareBytes scan as suggested. Nothing found.

Also running Sophos, once again nothing.

Have I not concern about piracy? Should I change all or part of my passwords?

Is this random popup a software problem? If so, how the hell do to stop? This once per hour popup in the middle of the screen is quite a nuisance.

Thank you in advance for help to solve this issue...

Sorry, do not understand how you are prompted for the password? Did you manually go to the system preferences > iCloud to see if you are registered in there? If you are, then on iCloud there and then reconnect again to see if the problem will disappear.

If it returns, then log back in to iCloud, then go to:Apple - my Apple ID and change your password. Make sure it is a secure password (8 characters, upper and lower case, special characters, etc.). Then log in System Preferences > iCloud with the new password and see if the problem is resolved.

    Good luck

    Hi Jaaz76

    Method 1:

You can perform a security analysis and check if there are viruses or malware present. Check out the link below to run the scan and check if this helps-

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Method 2:

Also I suggest you perform a SFC scan and check. To Perform a Scan SFC -

    a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow

    b. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

    c. a message indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient, because the analysis may take some time

    d. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. Hopefully though you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    I'm on Windows 8

I had the pop up ads sensation can cause the problem and talked about it to the engineer in computer science from my father. It installs Malewarebytes and there was indeed still a maleware by repair men left. The difference was, Chrome to view the full announcement page while Firefox may have in maintaining security to block this kind of page, and the result was the error message. (I didn't know that because it happened to me on my computers to the precedents and even Firefox used to show me the ad then) Thank you for warning me.

I tried to remove my password of memory and he asked me again but no joy. I checked and my webmail - Yahoo - works fine. TB won't just go get him. Can I get help from anyone please?

The problem is that the ATT / Yahoo email service is apparently run by kindergarten children and no client att is getting what they pay for. They give a list of messages to thunderbird, it can recover, then say gotcha I can't get back them. ATT it works not. You use their mail add in a browser.
I speak of this here http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/the-retr-command-did-not-succeed-thank.html

However, if you dig into your Thunderbird profile, locate the popstate.dat file and delete it.

Menu (alt + H) help > troubleshooting information

    Click the display folder

    Close Thunderbird

Navigate to the mail folder in the Explorer window that opened.

Now the att.yahoo or any name server they use this week.

popstate.dat will be in this folder.

Delete this file makes Thunderbird forget where it is up to download mail from Yahoo, apparently changing id numbers at random intervals or something. The result is that you have left on the server is downloaded again.

So, you can this add-on to clear the mess. https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Thunderbird/addon/remove-duplicate-messages-Alte/?src=search

I blame ATT / Yahoo also are about 99% of the people who come on these forums about this ATT/Yahoo customers. But it could be the continuation of security they provide as well. McAfee caused problems with Thunderbird for over a year and my best recommendation is to not let anywhere near your mail. It is, however, something quite unique to Att / Yahoo that does not exist until they became involved with the yahoo service.

I previously got Firefox error messages indicating "Firefox update failed". However, I already have the latest version of Firefox installed when I got these error messages.)

I think that we must hope that the problem will be resolved at the present time. If you see the error message again post in this thread. Also, it would be unusual get this message while trying not to update, but if you get if you try to copy and paste the details of console error that they can be useful.

    Use

    • keyboard Ctrl + Shif + J
    • or button-> Web Developer Firefox-> Console errors

This kind of message is apparently the only normally expected when you try to update to Firefox. It seems strange that you get the message using a 'Œuvres' document, but others have reported this message seemingly random incidents.
(So normally, you must clear the error console, and then try to update knowing the error messages have been the result of this attempt to update)

If I had this problem my concern would be that some kind of malware may be involved, but the message can then indicate that all this malicious program is upset.

  • CRM using SQL database in an environment of small business often inaccessible with the following error message

    Hello

This is my first time on this forum so bear with my ignorance!  I'll expose the background of my setup and then explain the error.

We have a small business with a server running SBS2011 and PC running Windows 8 and 8.1 connected to the server in a domain environment.

We use a CRM product called Emu Tall that uses SQL Server 2008 R2 on the server for the database and the PC run a local application that connects to this database.

On a daily basis, but completely randomly and sometimes several times a day, a user will try and open the application on a PC and get the following error message.

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlEnum, Version = 10.0.0.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file.

At first, I thought it must be a matter of waiting time as it seemed to happen every morning, but I've proved since that it occurs at any time of the day and is apparently unrelated to amount of users or idle time or something like that.

Here's another oddity that hopefully sheds some light on it. If I go to the server and open the CRM application on the server, it works very well since it is only the PC that have the connection problem.  In addition, as soon as I connected to the server of any PC can connect immediately (until it happens again later in the day).  I don't need to stay connected to the server, connect one time and close the session and he "fixed" it for a few hours for all PC users.

I contacted the CRM vendor, and they are completely confused and have no idea what to do.

We are trolling along at the moment with me opening a session on the server for launch launch whenever a user receives the error message but it is far from satisfactory.

A final observation is that it does not always.  It used to work fine.  The problem began just two months ago and seems to coincide with the increase in our user from 5 to 12 users license even if the CRM provider swear that it is nothing to do with the license.  They may agree; I don't know enough to argue the point.

Any help will be appreciated! I'm sure it will be a simple solution and someone there will know why and the answer immediately but is elusive at this time.
