  I try to write a code that gives the brightest pixel by rank of a picture and the value 255 and all others 0.  I have the code that does this, but it's extremely slow (260-300 ms per image!).  The way I did is to change to a table and make a few loops with a logic of...  I expect some suggestions for a better way.  I tried the threshold vi with a limited range, but it will put all the pixels that are going to white, not just the first brightest pixel.  Any ideas?

  Hi Matt,

  you say that you have changed the data in a table. In what form is your original data?

  Once you have a table (2D I guess) you could just looping through the lines and each line using Min/Max, multiply the table with 0 and the value of the pixel to the Max index to 255. See the image.

  another stupid mistake. It had to be a file name in the folder not a file name.
