  • Adobe Camera Raw support for Canon 5 d? (PS CS6)

(for example this question in the present case, the forum of Photoshop)

    (1) how shift is planned between the introduction of the Canon 5 d camera (approx. June) and Adobe support in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR)?  In my reading elsewhere, it looks like 2 to 6 months, according to the WRT calendar ACR release schedule - anyone can refine this wait a little?

    (2) will support provided in ACR to Photoshop CS6 update?
(Adobe will force us right here to you either subscribe to CC to get the update to ACR or "jump ship" to another company of product image edition?)
.. .in this case, finally, I must leave the ship, but I don't want to .)

I saw a statement in this blog that Adobe will provide support to the new camera press PS CS releases.
but this is a blog of 2011 announcement so it was average before CC is out, so I wonder how it is true these days.

    Thanks for any help...

New cameras are usually added to the next version of the plugin ACR and LR after the device is available for sale.  In the past, a new version of ACR/LR is published every 3-4 months and new cameras are released whenever the manufacturers want, so it can be anywhere from a few weeks to several months of delay, according to the sequence of the output of the camera and the next version of the regular software.  Sometimes it seems that Adobe will delay a plug-in version to be able to include a new important camera in it, but other times a popular camera buyers wait several months.  Adobe has the hours fixed for the releases aren't so rushed by releasing a new plug-in whenever a new camera model is released.   Only a wait of six months would be for a device that is difficult to sustain immediately and requires an innovation for the decoding process raw, rather than just the usual camera-profiling which is not so difficult.

As for your other question about if CS6 will include support for the 5 d, now Adobe sells CS6 and CC so they provide a new camera support via plug-ins updates of ACR for both.  It remains to be seen if CS6 is still sold by the new time camera support is added for the 5 d or not and will probably be a business decision based on factors totally foreign to the 5 d.

  • Camera Raw Support for Canon 7 d MkII

Just try to get an idea if I should spend the $99.00 to buy at the Apple Store opening.  This may seem a little over the top, but the workflow, I miss by not having not RAW support in Lightroom is worth the expense of buying from opening.

I find it very disappointing that Adobe do not have as the support yet for the new Canon 7 D MkII.  It is a VERY popular camera.

Mostly I find this slowness on the part of very disappointing Adobe because they sell CC buy saying: "you always up-to-date software.  When you think Apple and Google Picasa have already taken care of the Canon 7 d MkII.  I might add that they had both for the camera within days of its release on October 31.

So, after my little mug shot.

Someone from Adobe can advise when we see Camera Raw support the new Canon 7DMkII?

Although it is in beta, I'd be very happy to be a beta tester.  I have extensive experience in software testing and would be ready to do the beta-test structure.  I would be very happy if someone on Adobe Labs would contact me to Beta test for the 5 d MkII 7 Camera Raw support.

  • Support of Camera RAW for Canon 7 D Mark II

    Hello

I just bought the Canon 7 d Mark II, plugged into my PC, but then concluded that Adobe Camera RAW does not yet support. Updates when this camera can be possibly taken in charge?

He said on this forum that the camera will be supported in the final version of Camera Raw 8.7. It is NOT supported in the release candidate version, which is available now. No date of exit, but probably before the end of the year. Note that Camera Raw 8.7 is only compatible with Photoshop CS6 (new support camera only) and Photoshop CC (full support including new features).

  • First update for Photoshop 5.1 good for Canon 7 D Mark II

Unable to find an update for Adobe Photoshop CS 5.5 or 5.1 so the first images of Canon 7% Mark II would work. Any suggestions? I'd be happy. It's very frustrating, and it feels like Adobe is trying to force people to buy their products from cloud.

Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

The 7 5 d Mark II was first supported in camera 8.7 gross which is compatible with both CS6 and Cloud. No CS5.1 or CS5.5.

    Options:

    1. Join the cloud, or
    2. Upgrade to CS6, or
    3. Free option: download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all 7 d Mark II Raw to DNG files, then change the DNG files in CS5.1.

  • RAW support for 10 items

I have been using different versions of the items for the years to process the RAW images.  I recently (2 months ago) bought the Sony RX100 and updated for the latest items - 10.  RAW support was not available for the RX100, but he promised for the next update to Camera Raw.  Indeed camera Raw 7 includes coverage for the camera, but is only available for Photoshop CS6.  What's the story?

The story is 11 elements. Buy the upgrade.

  • Is it my version of Adobe CS5 support the Canon 5 d Mark II?

    Hello

I recently saw a video of PeachPit series that had screenshots and workflow and work for the Canon 5 d Mark II HDSLR camera.

I had a few problems and issues of start-up and wonder if maybe I need to update my version of CS5.

Here is a screen shot which leads me to believe this.  I remember distinctly on the PeachPit videos teaching are 5 d in this drop-down list.

    Thank you

    Matt

    Matt,

The screenshot you posted is to control and capture DV and HDV devices; the 5 d does not fit into this category. Since it is technically a "tapeless" camcorder, you are able to import any simply MOV files, after have copied them from your CF card to your hard drive. Technically, you pourriez change the CF card, but you do not want.

Simply use the operating system to copy the files on a hard drive (of preferably a separate from the system drive), and then import the files in the first; There are several ways to do it, including in the body menu, by double-clicking the project Panel, drag a file browser window or by using the media browser in first. Moments after dragging in the software, you are ready to start to change.

  • Canon 5 d Mark II, the Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 2.4

    All,

I know it must have been answered elsewhere, but I have not found what I'm looking for.

I bought a new Canon 5 d Mark II camera that will happen Wednesday.  To the extent the software on my Mac Pro, I have Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium, which includes (obviously) of Photoshop CS3.  I am also running Lightroom 2.4.  I heard to open the 5 d Mark II RAW files, you must have Adobe Camera Raw 5.X, which is not supported by Photoshop CS3.  I also understand that Lightroom 2.4 CAN open the 5 d Mark II RAW files.  First of all, both of my statements are at this point?  If so, I can use Lightroom to open the RAW files, making some setting I would like in Lightroom, then export the modified file (in TIFF, for example) in Photoshop CS3 and go on my way?  Or it won't work?

If the answer is no, what are my options for the software I have with my Canon 5 d Mark II?  Am I, now, TO upgrade to Photoshop CS4?  If so, can I buy CS4 Design Premium update, if my CS3 Design Premium is the version of education?

Thanks for any help on this... I hope to avoid spending more money that I need software just to be able to process images of my new camera.  I'm sure I could always use the supplied Canon software to open the RAW files, but I prefer to do programs in the Adobe family.

Lightroom 2.4 will deal with the EOS 5 d Mark II RAW files.  And Yes, after doing all your editing your RAW files in LR, you can export it to TiFF, PSD or JPEG format and open and work on it in Photoshop CS3.

    I hope this helps.
