  • data since ics connection

Since I got the ics ota on my droid razr on verizon my data connection has been horrible. I almost never have 4g and een my 3g is uneven. before ics, I would have a nice 4g connection in most of my area (rockland / westchester, ny). I wonder if anyone has the same problem and if so does anyone know if there is a fix in the works. Thank you

Yes and Yes. There's an update coming out soon which helps with 4g and is supposed to give the better battery life as well

  • Ringtones no longer work after ICS

My Razr had made ICS this morning. Now, I have no ringtone. Yes the silent mode is disabled and the volume all the way up. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the ' phone ' or "default notification", the GET, the message "system Android activity does not. I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm vibation, but no ring. Difficulty?

How about a ringtone you made yourself, or downloaded from the Internet. I wonder if there is something wrong with the default ringtones or those who are on your system that went through the upgrade process.

If you use a file management application can you try to play one of the ring tones that do not work? Let us make sure that they are actually playing. I hope this helps.

  • Car + Bluetooth = cut the loop until the reboot

I have the Droid Maxx, last OTA. Car is a Honda Civic EX 2012 with built-in bluetooth audio (I think that it supports version 2.1?).

With my Droid Razr Maxx (2011) and the Razr Maxx HD Droid (2012), bluetooth audio works fine.

With the Droid Maxx, I can phone so he can stop constantly disconnection and connection of the cycle. I only got pair once, this part is fine, but if I've already connected my phone to ANY bluetooth device - whether my car, my headphones or something else - on the same boot, then it will constantly connect and disconnect all ~ 5 seconds of my car until I power cycle the phone.

I tried to turn off driving mode Motorola Assist; that did not help. I tried to disable trust unlock; that did not help. I'm out of troubleshooting things I can do. My phone says it is paired with the handsfree HandsFreeLink for Audio and media. On a clean boot if I let bluetooth enabled when power off, I can make phone calls and listen to music with the phone connected to the car, but as soon as the car and the phone disconnected from one another, they cannot be connected again on a regular basis without having to reboot the phone. Note that I don't have to put the car in motion or something like that for this market, just restart the phone fix it.

This is quite clearly a regression because he used to work very well with my old Motorola phones, and I hope it can be resolved with a hotfix. Can you guys take a look at this or should I start looking for a bluetooth to the dongle 3.5 mm plug on the radio instead? I mean, I'm sure that Honda doesn't have the best bluetooth app or smarter in the world - the audio latency is horrible - but now it's working as well as it was with my old phone is pretty important to me, and I want to avoid the hassle of a bluetooth dongle I need to keep charges, etc. as a workaround ugly (just what I need more junk in my car!).

Am I alone in finding this sort of thing or it's more widespread than just the 2012 Honda Civic?

So, here is what I was told would solve that problem. Disable the twinning/delete your match and restart the process of pairing from scratch. When you receive the notification, PBAP, don't forget to accept the download PBAP.

This shouldn't happen anyway, but at this point I thought it's Honda to fix.

In the research in getting our new phones on the Honda site.

  • Pavilion DV6433cl: What I can Uprade HP Pavilion DV6433cl to 256 GB SSD drive

I have a HP Pavilion DV6433cl laptop and I would like to replace my 160 GB drive existing with a 256 GB SSD to speed things up. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and have bios f.2e installed.

    1 is it possible?

    2. If so, what are the specifications of the ssd I have to be on the lookout for and I need to install drivers or software to run easily and quickly?  Suggestions for specific ssd that work would be most appreciated.

I think I read somewhere that I can replace/install the sticks of memory 2 X 2 GB (4 GB of memory in total) for the 2 X 1 GB sticks that are currently in the laptop because I have the system BIOS F2. E installed?  The next job? : Hynix full 4 GB RAM 2x2gb DDR2-800 PC2 - 6400S DDR2 200pin SODIMM memory

Thanks in advance for your time and answers.

Yes, you have true SATA hardware more early in order to be able to run an SSD. Your SATA is SATA-I 150 Mbps, but more recent readers SATA-III will downclock. Samsung Evo 840 years ago great records and we'll work for you.

Your memory is officially maxxed to 2 GB, but 3 works for almost everyone. 4 will not. The memory is DDR2-667 DDR2-800 not.

I strongly suggest upgrading to Windows 7. He manages the SSD better than Vista. With Windows 7, it is roughly homogeneous. Just install the SSD as a hard drive and make sure that the storage of BIOS has native SATA (ahci) value and not the legacy (IDE).

  • Q10 Q10 of proximity sensor of blackBerry issues

Hello guys, currently I q10 ESC model 100-3. Recently I just update the official os update OTA 2941. After the update, I noticed that my proximity sensor seems weird. During a phone call, it's not off my screen so I need cat kicked the power to make the screen power off in order to avoid touching unwanted, but however in virtual expert, my proximity sensor went perfectly with nearby and well detected.
I don't know how to solve this problem, did someone ever experienced? Hope for any comment.
    Thank you

You can check the position sensor? The phone must be in a certain position to be off when out of your mouth. For example if you are online and you place the phone on a flat table and try to cover the proximity sensor, it won't turn off the screen. However, if you hold to your ear in this position turns off the screen. See if you can test this sensor in the BBVE.

  • BlackBerry on updated software

HW I get a d-link updated my phone, because I check for update & tells me dat I updated d why I 10.3.1.522 who is not new to update. Pls help me, thanks.

    Hello

By all means official (LINK, device OTA, Update Web site), release of updates is controlled by your carrier... If they have not released anything new, so that's why it is not available for you.

There are no official methods to new levels of BONES, which come with a certain level of risk. In addition, the latest figures BB10 OS present many problems.

Finally, you forgot to tell us what your is the device.. BB10 your forum profile says 'Bold 9790 6' for your device, which of course is not a device BB10.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Confused about release of ICS DROID RAZR MAXX

I thought that ICS was supposed to be released on the 4th, but now I see that they are always the phase devolopment, and that there is a test of current soaking. What are some realistic timelines of DROID RAZR MAXX running ics?

Im just impatient, anxious and agitated... lol

    anyone?

Currently, there is no other than 'soon' time if the ICS beta ran last weekend.

I guess without any support you mind, that provisional impregnation test pour.181 ends this week, and soaking ICS should start in the coming months, ou.181 will be released to the masses of official.

That being said, that the ICS must theoretically be released in the coming weeks 3-6. Suffice it to say that because I'm really looking forward to there makes me suffer, I ran a beta ICS on my DHD when I was with AT & T.

I'm also looking forward to the increase of the lapdock feature that comes with 4.0. * because they use ICS in tablet, with a custom rather than a full custom OS browser. relieved just to the top of a lot of space in the phone for storage.

  • No access to Motoprint after ICS Droid Razr Maxx

After update to ICS, I can't access Motoprint. It is in my list of applications, and it is the only place where it appears. I hard rebooted phone without success and also updates installed and reinstalled them, rebooted again, hard things without success. I have to start from scratch and do a reset? Is anyone else saw this, and what was your solution?

Motorola officially only supports the Chargers of the bike, but you should work fine. Some chargers are not armored and others, and you can see interference of the touchscreen when the charger is connected.

But there are thousands of 3rd party chargers that work very well, and any style USB 5v charger should work if it's a reliable brand.
