RDBMS Synch question
I created an AccountsAction.csv file which synchronizes every day with our ACS SE 1113 4.1 device. In the .csv file, each created account has the 3 following elements included in the attachment.
Now my question is, you can see the expiration date, but where we put the start date? I want each of these files to contain a start and stopwatch function.
Thank you
Dwane
Expiration of account ACS does not have specific start dates - finish that dates.
Only solution is add the accounts to the date they should become active.

Hello
I'm trying to find a table that will help me find shared members, entity or account.
Can someone give me the table to bind to the HSP_OBJECT or HSP_MEMBER to achieve this?
for example, I want to find all members who have a Parent who has this member as a shared member.
Someone tell me please to the table on the right?
Thank you
Robert. This should give you all the members of the shared account
Select * from hsp_object where type_objet = '45' and
object_name in (select object_name from hsp_object where type_objet = '32')for the entity just move from 32 to 33

Addition of VSA on the GBA unit
Dear all,
How to add other attributes specific to the seller on the GBA unit? Normally on the software, we use the command line "CSutil" to add the ASB, but as the device is not interface to the windows system, there is no way to configure it. No one knows how to do?
Appreciate for any idea
Starting from 3.1, supported ACS VSA custom with RDBMS synchronization, also. This was done specifically to take charge of the unit. Action codes 350 per 355 support config and custom VSA definition.
So, consult the ACS 3.2 user guide device for information on the use of RDBMS Synch.

11 GR 2 (10.2.0.3) RDBMS and G.I - installation question
Hello
I have to build two new servers with the following configuration:
Platform: RHEL 6.2 64bits
Oracle RDBMS: 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.3)
Grid infrastructure (ASM): 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.3)
I downloaded the files for RDBMS 11.2.0.3 but I couldn't find grid Infra 11.2.0.1 download. I found a doc of MOS (ID 1362393.1) that says to download the Group of hotfixes that contains the "Oracle Grid Infrastructure (including Oracle ASM, Oracle Clusterware and Oracle Restart)".
I have two questions:
- If I install 11.2.0.3 for RDBMS, will I have to install 11.2.0.3 for grid below as well GOLD can also install 11.2.0.1? What is the best approach?
- Is - this group of patches (for grid below the MOS) above a full install OR I need to install 11.2.0.1 first and then the patch for 11.2.0.3?
Thank you very much!
The GI software version must be the same version of the database, or superior - it may not be a lower version. See MOS Doc 337737.1

Hello
I'm so ready to Centro upgrado in a week. The bottom line for me is this: I used my other Palm IIIc for quite awhile. My Palm Desktop I have a lot of data on my PC. I want to install 1) new Palm Desktop for Centro, 2) to migrate the data that I have so far of the old Palm Deskto in a new, and what I think is the easiest part 3) to sync my Centro with old seats of the new system of Palm Desktop data.
Appreciate any response,
zawaprz.
In fact if anyone cares, I just found the answer: manual for Centro, page 18.

I have a weird that I couldn't find in the forum. I have a MacBook Pro and the Palm 700 p (Verizon), both with the latest versions of software. I have put HotSync conduit to synchronize devices. The problem occurs when I sync - not only do calendar updates not transfer from Mac to the Treo, but it destroys completely all the recent entries on the Mac. Not sure about changes in address book.
I'm relegated to just the new entries on the Mac, then having the Mac overwrites on HotSync Treo.
Any suggestions?
Hello!
This regulation will make interesting resolution because the headers of synchronization for the user name appear to be corrupt. Ususal the solution is try to sync handheld replaces the office, and then try to perform the usual synchronization later. Without worrying about the GUI setting your light in the listing of the ducts, it tries to make the opposite point of view headers.
But since your ban to do then you could try hard reset the phone and try an another hotsync. Make sure that set lines PIM on Macintosh replaces Hanheld before the next hotsync to see if it flies over the mac data.

How can I use an ipod nano that was synched to another computer?
My daughter gave me his 2nd generation ipod nano because it is no longer use it. When I plugged in my USB to load, I got a message informing me that there is an update. It would not be updated beause "ipod cannot be updated because it contains files that are used by another application."
What should I do to be able to use this ipod nano?
I don't think that this message is related to the iPod is synced to another computer... It is usually other applications or processes on the computer (which is not iTunes) accessing the iPod for some reason if iTunes is not able to perform the update. However, your question in the subject heading ("How can I use an ipod nano that was synched to another computer?") is valid, since the iPod was previously used by someone else, with a different iTunes library.
If you want to start using this iPod with your iTunes library and put on your songs, instead of doing an Update, you need to restore. This erases the iPod, reinstalled the latest version of the software, and sets it to the default settings. The iPod gets a 'new beginning', as when it was new. To resolve the problem with this "files in use by another application" error message, try restarting your computer. Immediately after the computer finishes starting up, run iTunes, plug in the iPod (if it isn't already) and try to do the restore (or Update). If you still get this error message, please after return.
If you are restoring, you can configure it to sync with your iTunes library. You can post back, if you need advice on options for the implementation.

Hello
I have a little questions about the le parameters option HAIP redundant Interconnection offered since version 11.2.0.2 and later on the GI.
Reading some MOS Note () NOTE: 1210883.1 - Grid Infrastructure redundant Interconnect and ora.cluster_interconnect.haip) said it is recommended to use this option instead of using options as limited to the operating system level.
(( However, the highly available IP (note) HAIP) FAQ for version 11.2 () Doc ID 1664291.1) say:
HAIP, allowing redundant clusters of interconnection network adapters on the cluster nodes without requiring any OS level liaison, grouping or grouping of network cards.
HAIP provides a layer of transparency between several (NIC) Network Interface cards on a given node, which are used for the cluster_interconnect that is used by RDBMS and ASM instances.
However it is not used for the pulsation of the Clusterware network.
What it means that the heart rate won't don't not in high availability?
And are not do not the ability to perform failover on another network card.
MI version is 12 c (12.1.0.2)
Can he say that?
Thank you very much
Arturo
Hello
You can check with your hardware vendor (server) if it takes support LACP & LAG. You will need to configure LACP wich switch LACP support.
Some OS have it native... (for example, Solaris, AIX etc..) x86_64 platform have a software player to configure (such as Dell, HP, etc.).
If you have feature LACP in your approx... You must use HAIP.

Hello
It of on the NLS_LANG variable, so run the query below on your database:
select 'export NLS_LANG='||p1.value||'_'||p2.value||'.'||p3.value NLS_LANG from nls_database_parameters p1, nls_database_parameters p2, nls_database_parameters p3 where p1.parameter = 'NLS_LANGUAGE' and p2.parameter = 'NLS_TERRITORY' and p3.parameter = 'NLS_CHARACTERSET';
Then export NLS_DATE_FORMAT both NLS_LANG on the operating system and run the query again on SQLPLUS.
Kind regards.

Separate RDBMS server for high load applications
Hi all
I have 2 requests below
1 Apps1 with 10 TB expected data and 400 concurrent users
2 applications 2 with 20 TB of expected data and 800 concurrent users.
our management thinks we should have servers of RDBMS oracle separate for each of the above to reduce the load.
I told them that this isn't the right approach, tomorrow we will need another Apps3 application and we will assign a new server? additional license?
I tried to convenced that load balancing should not be adopting the same, which is dedicating a separate server for each application.
They asked me to motivate good why we should have a single database server.
I have a few points, but I need your ideas, maybe something I don't know or maybe I missed something.
Please guide me with this.
Thank you.Size of the database does not dictate the overhead on the database.
In the database environment, performance boils down to I/o. The more necessary e/s, the processing load factor.
For example, the 20 TB database are accessible by 10,000 users primarily use unique indexes and especially the small range scans index. In which case the processing load will be nearly identical if this database was 500 GB in size - as the I/O load is compatible.
And then we can get a 500GB database where most queries are either full, index table full, analyses the nature of the data and business questions - which will be the factor of 20 minor look to database processing load.
Size of database so only, is a poor metric to use to determine the necessary type of RDBMS environment.
As you have a network using large enough storage (30 + TB by the sounds of it), I would start with that as the basis to decide what kind of infrastructure and architecture are necessary.
What is a SAN? What is NAS? To use fiber, iSER FCoE, Ethernet or Infinband or RPS? RAID is done at the server storage layer, or is it a JBOD which are abnd scratched in the opposite direction to the ASM? Etc.
As I/O plays the major role in the performance, I can't be sure that it is optimal. Because the storage layer contains critical business data, I would support HA and redundancy. As volumes of data increase forever, I would make sure to evolve.
I see three basic options. Keep the existing storage layer and infrastructure development. Replace the layer of storage with something else. Download Exadata Database Machine.
Given the userbase sizes and volumes you mentioned, I would seriously consider Exadata. And no, RDBMS licenses should be identical, if not cheaper (less expensive that db servers off-load processing to storage nodes, which requires less db server processor cores).

Question 11.1.1.7 BPM JDev human task Auto layout or display generation
It's strange. I've seen such a question to the oracle forum that has not yet responded. I have this problem only with JDev 11.1.1.7 and not with JDev 11.1.1.5. It is a brand new facility. I have eliminated all other facilities. Including the windows registry. This has (pcbpel_bundle.zip) SOA and bpm (bpm_bundle.zip). However, I have 12 separate installed c.
The problem causes a taskDetail.jspx from a human task results in the layout box style based framework. Am not ADF person but it is necessary to show my BPM user task.
Help, please. Details on the number below:

I am able to solve this problem. After a series of R & D, I have found that the cause is % APPDATA%\jdeveloper. Remove the appropriate directory will solve this problem. In fact, I tried to remove the directory integer jdeveloper under %APPDATA%\protector.exe and the generation of form jdev 11.1.1.7 problem solved. Those who find the question of the "referential integrity" can follow this approach.

Download 12 c (equipment specific) question
Hi all
I have a small question about the installation for RDBMS 12 c files.
I would like to install 12 c on our Linux x86_64 server and I noticed that all of the files for Linux are labelled "linuxamd64".
12 c for Linux 86_64 is specific to the AMD64 processor architecture or am I just read too much into it?
We are short of Intel Xeon so thought that I would check beforehand as if it doesn't matter, then it's a pretty misleading error and confusion of the bunch of names of files!

Oracle rdbms download or media SR RDBMS?
Hello
I have a simple question.
It is recommended to download the Oracle RDBMS for the production of the site Oracle Database Software Downloads | Oracle Technology Network | Oracle or we should revive a SR with Oracle Support media?
Thank you
Hello
If you know exactly what you want, you can download directly from the site. Otherwise take help.
Thank you

A few Questions about the manual recovery
DB version: 11.2.0.3.0
Platform: Oracle Linux 6.4I'm not an expert in recovery.
We had a level of SAN cloning of a RAC database. We store online Redo logs in the diskgroup RL_DG and ARCH_DG diskgroup Archive redo logs.
After the plan of SAN cloning (EMC BCV Synch), we tried to start up of the DB using srvctl start database-d < MyDBName > and we got the following error message.
CRS-5017: the action "ora.msblprd.db start" resource has met the following error:
ORA-01113: file 4 should media recovery
ORA-01110: data file 4: "+ MBL_DATA/msblprd/datafile/users.271.803502221".We realized that a lot of data (not justs users.dbf) need recovery files. Thus, we tried to run to RECOVER the DATABASE. But it errored out. So, we ran to RECOVER database with the HELP of BACKUP CONTROLFILE until CANCEL ; command.

ORA-00279: change 7996788033403 September at 10/06/2014 04:57:12 to put on 2
ORA-00289: suggestion: + ARCH_DG
ORA-00280: change 7996788033403 thread 2 is in sequence #16085
Specify the log: {< RET > = suggested |} Filename | AUTO | CANCEL}
Auto
ORA-00308: cannot open archived log "+ ARCH_DG".
ORA-17503: ksfdopn:2 cannot open file + ARCH_DG
ORA-15045: ASM '+ ARCH_DG' file name is not in the form of reference
Attempts above did not work because oracle was looking for the archived logs that was not present in ARCH_DG, RMAN has backed it up to the band and issued "delete entry".But I have a few basic questions.
Question1. Why the command RECOVER DATABASE fail with ORA-01610?
Question2. RECOVER the DATABASE and recover database using BACKUP CONTROLFILE until CANCEL commands will look only archivelogs not redo logs online. Right? I understand that this database will try to retrieve media by the application online Redo Logs when the STARTUP OPEN command is issued. Right?
Question3. In the command RECOVER database using BACKUP CONTROLFILE until CANCEL that BACKUP CONTROLFILE, we refer to the?
Question4. What does AUTO option? in calls it "Specify log" as I have indicated above in red
Question1. Why the command RECOVER DATABASE fail with ORA-01610?
Oracle has detected that the controlfile was 'old' (for example had a low point control #) as the database. If she recognized the controlfile as a BACKUP CONTROLFILE. You make a full recovery, that can be done if the real current controlfile and redo log files are consistent and 'newer' database in a DATABASE files to RECOVER normal.
Question2. RECOVER the DATABASE and recover database using BACKUP CONTROLFILE until CANCEL commands will look only archivelogs not redo logs online. Right? I understand that this database will try to retrieve media by the application online Redo Logs when the STARTUP OPEN command is issued. Right?
N ° N ° (in the normal case) the RECOVERY DATABASE can automatically identify the online redo log file must be applied to make a full recovery. In your case, Oracle has already tried an incomplete recovery. It will have to be provided (or be able to AUTOMATICALLY generate) the archivelog file names. Apply of Redo Log files online only happens to a recovery of Instance - a START after a crash or abort. Your case is a Media Recovery (again because of the backup control file).
Question3. In the command RECOVER database using BACKUP CONTROLFILE until CANCEL that BACKUP CONTROLFILE, we refer to the?
The controlfile you have on the disk is 'old' - it is recognized as a backup controlfile.
Question4. What does AUTO option? in calls it "Specify log" as I have indicated above in red
(in the normal case) Oracle can generate the name of the 'next' archivelog file based on the last archivelog applied and the log_archive_dest log_archive_format and. Given that you had not applied all archivelog and yet, he would not be able to generate the next archivelog expected - this happens also in the RAC recovery where it can generate automatically the archivelog next to (for example) wire #1 file name because the archivelog to thread #1 has been applied, but can still generate automatically for wire #2 until an archivelog was applied.
You will also notice the inadequacy of sever between the online redo log header and the newspaper WAITED
> archived log contains sequence 16107. 16085 sequence required
This means that the data files is much older than the online redo log. Given that your ad doesn't show 22 redo log groups, it is likely that the snapshot log redo DG and DG database files don't match no - the second is much older than the first. You need an archivelog to apply, not the online redo log.
Your query on V$ LOG and V$ LOGFILE should always optimasation THREAD # (when CAR is running) and SEQUENCE # (each Thread has it's own sequence)
You can also view your alerts log. This could indicate that Oracle was trying to recover the datafiles Fuzzy - what would happen if your snapshot was taken without the database in BACKUP mode.
Talk to EMC and Oracle support for the good tips on how to make a snapshot backup of an Oracle database. Otherwise, you'll be toast when you need to perform a recovery of real Production database. I suspect that your DGs and EMC volume is not configured properly to create synchronized instant backups.
