  I recently installed Arcsoft Media Impression, which came with a film scanner to enable me to scan my old negatives (negatives, 110 and 35 mm).  The problem I have is that when I capture photo software seems high crop the original image.  What is captured is about 2/5 of the image as shown on my screen.

  That is the software you use to print? HP ePrint app allows you to select a few sizes including 4 x 6 (10 x 15 cm)

  b open HP ePtint app,

  (b) select the photo (you must allow access for this app on your photos first).

  (c) support on edit (top right).

  d press paper then the size (also source, type)

  (e) then print.

  You can use Apple Store to install HP ePrint.

• Photo impression of vist error

  When I print from Vista Home Premium edition, I get several 'mistake of printing image' boxes and am never able to print. I have updated the printer driver (Pixma ip4500) and the Vista update to service pack 2. Don't know why this computer won't print... any help would be appreciated.

• Black and white photos, impression in the purple form

  My wife has been copying some black & white family photos historical.  Six or more printed correctly, then a photo past black & white to one your purpleish to phase full of 90%, only the lower part had changed colors.  We loaded another cartridge printing black, believing that it was the cause, but to no avail.  Now all the photos to Black & white print in purple.

  Printing standard is fine.

  The copy is fine.

  The scan is fine.

  But photo printing results black & white photos in copies being 100% purple toned.

  Why?

  Printer HP 6510, only two months old.

  The printer uses color ink to print in black when printing on photo paper as the black pigmented ink is not compatible with the photo paper.  It seems that you have run out of yellow ink.  I would say the troubleshooting steps in the paper here to solve the problem.  Be sure to check the vents on the supply of yellow as the two solution.

• Photo impression vs transfer to the computer via Bluetooth.

  I have a Photosmart 5550 AIO, which comes with a Bluetooth dongle for printing from a cell phone.  It works fine when you have successfully completed the installation.

  I wanted more that print photos so I tried to move the Bluetooth dongle into the USB port on my computer - instead of the printer.

  I downloaded the Bluetooth driver from the HP site and installed.

  I can now print photos directly, or, copy/move them from the phone to the PC.

  It allows me to edit the photos before printing.

  Just thought I'd post my experience for others.

  I have a wireless network with the Photosmart designated as a shared printer on the network.  I use the Bluetooth dongle on a computer that is not directly connected to the printer 5550, but sits on the wireless network.

  • Install the full feature software to take advantage of features and options of the printer software.
  • Use a favorite program to open / view the photo > in print preview > Printing Preferences (Options) > adjust the size of the paper, type of media (paper type), selection of the status bar and other options

  Sounds too simple - and it can be as simple as that.

  The printer will be probably best to use HP paper - meet other quality brands can work perfectly, too.  In my case, HP Advanced Photo paper always gave good results.

  One caveat: a lot of printers that provide the photo tray bit limit paper size cannot be used in this sandbox to the size of 4 X 6 inches.  It is not always obvious that it is the case; the tray will sometimes adjust large sizes regardless of this restriction.

  For example, if you want to print on paper, 5 X 7,.

  • Remove the paper usually the main tray >
  • Place the 5 X 7 paper in the main tray - the print down side >
  • Adjust the sliding bar (s) to embrace the paper >
  • Use program > print preview / print preferences to tell the printer on the parameters of work >

  Notes:

  If you can't find the paper size you want in the print preferences paper size list, you can create a custom form (custom size) for your special paper.  The number of parameters available for a custom form is somewhat limited; You can designate at least the size.  Start with such a type of paper (from the list of the available standard types) and the custom form should serve as sufficient results.

  Still available in 8.x Windows, you should find the program in the Windows Photo Viewer.  This is a simple photo montage and a print program that can help to put in place a photo impression basis.  The first time, you can print the picture on plain paper to make sure you get what you expect.

• Vista/Viewer Photo Gallery print problem with canon ip2500

  Can someone enlighten me on a problem of color photo printing quality.

  Running a relatively new machine Vista OS and Canon IP2500 inkjet printer, photo impressions paper out of looking very weak and faded, if printed photo gallery / print Viewer.

  However, the printer seems to work perfectly OK producing images all in color, if the same photo, for example, is inserted into a Word document and then print.

  I can't find any adjustment managed to make in the printer driver software, to improve the situation.

  Is there a known issue with this combination of technology, or someone at - it a solution for me to be able to print correctly from the photo gallery / print viewer.

  You have the latest drivers installed for the printer?

  I suggest you to make sure you have the latest drivers installed for the printer.

  Also after you select print in Photo Viewer, windows or windows live photo gallery you will get a new window asking "How do you want to print your photos?

  Here, you must select 'document Type' (default value is regular paper which will result in faded prints). Choose the correct photo paper for your paper stock settings.

  Then, you may or may not get a "Print preview" window according to your printer settings, preferably with additional choices for setting printer. Check the preview as well and move forward.

  Recently I bought printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and I have no complaint about normal printing.

  Yesterday I bought HP Everyday Photo paper glossy and took some Photo impressions. to my surprise, I see that there are a lot of blur and a large part of the ink is taken on the photo.

  This printer really print photo printing? or I'm doing something wrong

  Output picture is very blurry, a large part of the cartridge from the printer and the ic a sensation by using ink on my fingers

  Load the print paper down in the input tray side.

  Many papers have print sides and not printable as paper photo and other special media.

  How can I get my picture to print on photo instead of the paper support paper?  I have a HP 6510 e - All in a series and the installation he had put me in the photo paper 4 x 6 for a sample.  He great printer!  Now when I try to pring another photo, he keeps putting it on plain paper.  (And the paper was the first photo impression too.)  Thank you in advance!

  You set the type of photo paper? In the application you are printing from you should go to print properties and can find media under paper/quality. The article below the link should help.

  During one of the updates for something (windows, antivirus, a program etc...) my usbstoragemanager.dll file has been deleted or is missing. This happened about 3 weeks ago. I have a HP laptop that runs windows 7 and a HP camera model SW450 running ARCSOFT MEDIA IMPRESSIONS to import pictures.

  When I click on the icon to open ARCSOFT, USBSTORAGEMANAGER. DLL comes up.

  My question is how can I get this file back so I can upload photos?

• Problem on recovering pre-installed software.

  My problem is a bit complicated.

  I recently bought this HP Envy 14 1190ea when I was visiting my sister in the United Kingdom. I used there, and it worked like a charm.

  Then I came back to the Brazil and a few days later the HARD drive no longer works. No problem, I just buy another HARD drive, installed my original Windows 7, install the drivers and it is good to go, until...

  I noticed that I don't have the recovery Partition, of course, and I lost some of the delivered software pre-installed on Envy 14-1190ea, some of them that I use a lot, such as Adobe Photoshop Elements.

  What should I do? How can I have my software back? Can I contact someone from HP to inform my number/product number and have a serial key for this software? Or quite simply, I lost my software for ever?

  Unfortunately there is no way that you can choose what is the restore disk, they are designed to restore the computer to care of the factory, but there may be an out of the box in a way.

  If you buy a new hard drive or even a second-hand which is at least the same size or bigger, then the one you use now, you can remove your current drive, insert the new (used) an and install the HP on the other disk operating system.

  There will be a file on the new drive in 'C' called SwSetup, burn it on a DVD, you should find your Adobe Elements in there. This can be used to install Adobe turn it on for your present ounce by car that it is back in the machine.

  The other way is to move all your belongings on a flash drive, reinstall the OS HP and drag your belongings to the own HP install.

  The second solution would be preferable because your Adobe Elements may not be in the SwSetup folder for you to reinstall later. My dv8 had some preinstalled ArcSoft software retouching photos, when I got it and it was not present in the SwSetup folder.

  I'm running a retail version of W7 now and there is no way to install the ArcSoft photo software with out having to buy a product key.

  If you have a product key for your adobe, you can simply download Adobe and enter your key.

• By default in Windows 7 image viewer is locked

  Hi, I got ArcSoft Photo Studio 5.5 installed on my computer (Windows 7 64 - Bit). It was delivered with a Canon Scanner. It's my Viewer by default as I wanted. I recently bought a HP Scanner and it came bundled with Photo Studio 6. Of course, I thought that that's fine, I can now upgrade my software. I went to install Photo Studio 6. It does not recognize the installation previous Photo Studio 5.5 and installed separately. When I double click on image files they always open in the Photo Studio 5.5.
  I have one installed two programs and re installed only Photo Studio 6.

  Now, Photo Viewer Windows succeeded as the default viewer. If I go to default programs and click all the checkboxes if selected or not Windows Photo Viewer are grayed out to and you cannot deselect everything.

  You can change (set another program as default) your default program following the steps mentioned below:
  1. open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.
  2. click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program.
  3. click on the file type or protocol that you want the program to act as the default value.
  4. click on the change agenda.
  5. click on the program that you want to use by default for the selected file type, or click the arrow next to other programs to show other programs. (If you don't see other programs or your program is not listed, click Browse to find the program you want to use, and then click Open. If no other programs are installed that are able to open the type of file or Protocol, your choice will be limited.)

  I have manually and selected "PhotoStudio.exe" on the way out, I make sure the always use this program is checked. Instantly, the image opens in "Windows Photo Viewer.

  I found my own solution, it's here for others with the same problem. I scanned the file with Norton Anti Virus, and they appear to be safe.

  Download OpenWithAdd.zip and run it. Locate the application you want to add to the Open with dialog box.

  Type the command line parameter (if the application requires one) in the appropriate text field. And, optionally, you can give a custom name for the application you are trying to add to open it with. This text appears in the dialog Open with , describing the application. Once this is done, click on register. Your application is now added to the list.
