Re: Card mother Terca M2 and a motherboard S2.

I have a Tecra M2 (PTM20A-00RTD) motherboard, where the video card has disappeared. I was told that it's too expensive
to replace. I have a friend who has a S2 (don't know its 1.86 g) where the screen is. It would be possible to
Replace the motherboard with the S2 M2? Anyone know if they are compatible?

Anyone has any ideas on how to walk in. I spoke with the toshiba tech guy who said just to buy a new
a replacement motherboard cost too much. I have a pc now and if I could do it work would be passed on to
My father retired.
Thank you.

Hello

My understanding of the other GPU chips are not compatible with different motherboards
So you should buy a motherboard that already contains a GPU for a Tecra M2 chip.

According to the statements of different people here in the forum, the GPU upgrade, change is not possible and therefore the whole motherboard must be replaced.

See you soon

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards

  • How to activate windows after upgrading my memory and HDD, motherboard?

I built my system with a full copy of Windows Vista four years ago.  Since then, I've bought a 3 license upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium.  I've improved this system and a laptop with this copy.  Now, I did a major update on my main system, replace the card mother, cpu, memory, and hard drive.  I made a new installation using the disks in windows 7, assuming that he asked to give me my Vista drive, but he never did.  The installation is completed successfully and now, three days later, I received an activation error.  The automated phone system didn't work either, saying: I did not meet licensing requirements.  What can I do?

Try the phone activation, do not meet all the guests until given the opportunity to speak to a real person

  • Error 0X0000007E Stop after installing the new card mother and CPU.

Original title: Stop error after installing the new card mother and CPU.

After I installed a new motherboard and CPU I got a stop error 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XB77EA756, 0XB84C742C, 0xB84C7128) and it restarted immediately. It always starts in safe mode, but I can't understand what is wrong. The old processor is a pentium 4 3 ghz, not sure what the motherboard was, new processor is AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 4200 + and I only know that the motherboard is an ASUS socket AM2. Device Manager does not recognize the CPU correctly, it shows just two entries called processor. As far as I can tell, it's almost certainly a driver issue, but I don't know how to diagnose or fix this. I am running windows XP home, I removed my video card, running 2 hard drives at 120 g (M) and 200 g (S), a DVD drive (M) and a reader of CD (S), and a stick of RAM to 1 GB.

If you have made the change without having to reinstall XP, you will be taking and Pray H@ll. the best thing to do would be to reinstall XP and make sure you have the drivers available for your motherboard available so that you can update the installed chipset. In addition, be aware that if you have an OEM of Windows version, the license is dead when you changed the mother/CPU card.

    I hope this helps.

  • card mother Dell can change my existing parent outside with one of the same brand and model?

I have a dell inspiron 530, the motherboard is bad. I was going to get the same model. but I was told that windows will not work on the new. even if they are the same type of motherboard

Make the point by replacing with the same card mother and model is interpreted as reinstallation on the same computer.

Change the motherboard starts the process of building a new computer and an OEM of Windows version is only intended to be installed on a computer not two or more. You can purchase licenses for installing Windows on multiple computers, but they aren't meant to business computers home computers.

    Hey icuhavoc

are recovery disks to reinstall vista with the original hardware installed if I understand you correctly know what records you need to know a set of manufacturer's recovery disks

If it is pre-installed this is an oem license and does not change unless you did it in consultation with the manufacturer of models of motherboards and processors

  • EVA GeForce GTX 750: Question on the compatibility of card and the card mother graphics

    Hello!

After this purchase pre-built Intel PC five or so years ago, it has graphic capeabilities are unfortunately insufficient for what I need. Long story short, I want to buy a new graphics card, but I don't know that the motherboard system takes care of everything. The card I currently have is a GT230 and I want to move to is the GeForce GTX 750 EVA and my motherboard is an MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) with an i7-860 processor. I can update without burning my PC?

    Thank you!

Edit: rather than tell you about the PC, it would be easier to show you: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01969874

    Ranger_621, welcome to the forum.

750 GTX graphics cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Therefore, it would be incompatible with your computer.  The last series of video cards that does not need UEFI was 640 gt.

  • I want to improve my card mother and CPU on my PC. Can I use transfer windows settings for it?

I want to improve my card mother and CPU on my PC. I like to keep all my settings from my games, etc, so I don't have to buy/purchase new and purchase/buy a new OS Win. I am running Win 7 Pro. What is the best way to address the issue? I keep my OS on a SSD and all the other stuff is on a separate HARD disk. Basically, I need to install the new chipset and other pilots MB.

You can save files and settings and restore to the new installation of Windows, but the games cannot be guaranteed. Just give a try. If it works, it's fine. If this isn't the case, you must reinstall the games.
