I am also having this problem. It wouldn't be a problem except my fonts via TypeKit are synchronized with CC so when I open a document using one, it can not sync and there is nothing on the screen DC that will allow me to leave or to reinstall. It's really a stupid question to interrupt the workflow of a person, and the other posters here should not have continually to uninstall and reinstall the software to make it work.

I'm sorry you troubles here.
It seems that this creative cloud desktop application is unable to write to one of the files on your machine, and so you're stuck in a spinner.
We have seen this happen a couple times before, and have a fix that you can run:
1 leave the desktop application Cloud Creative
2. in the menu go to the Finder, select go to folder
3. paste this path, and click OK:
~/Library/preferences/
4. in the window that opens, you should see a list of files, including com.adobe.accmac.plist
5. click on com.adobe.accmac.plist and rename it to com.adobe.accmac.plist.old. You will be asked to confirm that you want to change the .old extension.
6. start the creative Cloud desktop application again.
I hope that this action has resolved the problem. Let me know and we'll take it from there.

Creative cloud gray app &; not sync!
Icon creative cloud on the car at the top of the page is grayed out and shows the spinning wheel when I try to open. IM using the macbook pro and using synchronized with creative cloud - fonts fonts don't sync and I guess that's because the CC app is down. I tried to restart, leave the application and remove the application - none of which work (I can click on the parameters gear wheel in the right corner, but it does not).
Desperately need help because I have deadlines that use the fonts im synchronization attempt!

Creative cloud libraries will not sync
I tried everything but still can't find a solution for my libraries of Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign to synchronize. All say unable to connect to the server. Cloud files have no synchronization issues, but the libraries will not be.

It was a problem of 'Creative cloud' worm 2.1.1.108 after I performed the upgrade of the software.
It is resolved to worm 2.1.1.110 (in any case solved it for me).

I recently bought the student £15 / month creative cloud deal so I can especially filming to editing and creative cloud Setup will not work.
It opens with a window saying 'double click to install' what I'm doing and I'm going through the steps, but only at the end, he goes back to the start and does nothing! It won't let me download "after effects" which I desperately need.

My creative cloud app will not open. Updated last week
My creative cloud app will not open. It updated last week. It says program close app does not. I went to different menus to help and try to delete these files specified such as AAMUpdater, OOBE and OOBE1 and then start the creative menu cloud app. Have always the same message that "program does not - close the program." I don't know what to do now. Fortunately, Photoshop still works and I don't want to update now while there are updates available. I don't know what to do.
Finally, I put on my backup from 11/02/16 who had an older version of the CCA on it. After the backup, he updated and now it opens. Why none of the fixes worked? I lost last night and today all on it. It would not have been so boring if at least one of the fixes had worked.

Just for confirmation, enable the account of Root user and you connect to same and try to launch Adobe Creative Cloud application and check. We can turn off later.

How to connect as root
- If you are connected, choose quit from the Apple menu.
- If you connect from a list of names of users with pictures, click on the other.
- In the name field, type: root
- In the password field, type the password that you set when you configure the root user account.
Once you connect to the Root account try to launch creative cloud application and check.
