Re-enable flash in firefox 19.02 10.3

I need flash 10.3 for other software. 11 does not work for me. I know what risks and keep my computer clean. 19.02 Firefox has decided for me that I couldn't use flash 10.3.183. This breaks my other software. It's not my fault Adobe screwed flash. How can I activate flash on firefox and seamonkey.
If there is no other choice I will downgrade to earlier versions.

I used your link. I tried the .exe and the msi installer. Exe said this is not the latest version and wants me to get version 11. The msi installer gives me error 1722. Part of Setup is to not "finish as planned. This has happened in the two victory 8 and vista.

You must download Flash with Firefox. If you want to use IE to download Flash, you are likely to get the ActiveX of Flash version.

  • Shockwave flash crashes firefox 4

Shockwave flash causes firefox 4 crashes. Sometimes they use the most recent or the previous version of flash. remove the flash has solved the problem but remove the flash isn't a solution. This happens on a computer with Windows 7. However on another computer with XP, this does not happen.

    1. Download a copy of Flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and save it to your desktop.
    2. Then download Flash uninstaller
    3. Close Firefox via file | Output
    4. Run the uninstall program to remove the Firefox Flash. It will also remove IE.
    5. Reset
    6. Run the Flash Installer that you downloaded to your desktop (do not start Firefox). This will install on Firefox only.
    7. Open IE, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and choose run when you see the prompt.
    8. Test the installation in Firefox and IE by visiting: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
  • Flash on Firefox 10.0 Thinkpad Tablet

Yesterday afternoon, my Thinkpad Tablet has arrived.

After installing a few applications, I decided to try Firefox. It works very well for navigation, and I much prefer the user interface to the default browser.

The only problem is that I can't get the plugin flash to it, google, research, it seems like it should work fine, but when I go to install Flash for Firefox, a tab will open called 'Manager Mobile Settings'. The tab is completely empty, and I can't seem to get one more away than that.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I just have to stick to the default browser?

I don't think any Firefox for android has flash support. They have not yet released in favor of their beta version. Opera supports flash and it's a great browser.

  • I installed Flash Player. I enabled Flash Player in Win7. Win 7 always asks me to download Fash Player

    I installed Flash Player.

I enabled Flash Player in Win7.

Win 7 always asks me to download Fash Player

... what should I do now?

    aland94403730

    Ok.

    Problem solved - just!

Secret is to disable ActiveX filtering.

On an IE browser page click the icon for the sprocket (upper right corner of the screen)

In the menu drop down select 'security '.

Chances are that ActiveX is displayed in a second menu - with a check mark next to it.

Click on ActiveX to turn it off.

    Job done.

Why, oh why, can't be explained when the problem is so well known.

  • Enable Flash Player in Windows 8.1 & IE 11

    OS = Windows 8.1

    Browser = IE 11

Flash Player preinstalled Version of Windows 8

Unable to enable Flash Player. Having checked that it is enabled in the Add-ons Manager and that ActiveX is disabled, but still records as disabled.

First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/867968

Internet Explorer 11 introduced a number of changes both in the way the browser is identified with remote web servers, and how it treats JavaScript for behavior targets specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the provider of content changes their site to conform to the new approach to development required by the modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=ie-11

If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.

  • Enable Flash Player in Mozilla Fire Fox without administrator rights

    Hello

I am from Australia, I have a question how to enable flash player in my system without administrator rights. at present there is no access to install software in my system. Please help thanks in advance

    Concerning

    John Burns

    Hi John,.

Administrator rights are required for installation of Flash Player because it installs in place across the system that requires high permissions to write to.  For this reason, there is no way to install Flash Player without administrative rights.   As he writes in a location across the system, any user on the machine with the Admin rights can install Flash Player.

  • How to enable flash player on firefox to always turn on by default

So, while browsing the internet and watching flash videos became unresponsive and I stopped and sent the accident report. When I refreshed the videos to buffer again, I was invited to allow flash (Shockwave Player) to run. I never changed this setting to ask to activate before and I did it for me without my consent. When I tried to change that setting back always activate, the option is greyed out so I am not in a position to actually chose this option and continue my day. I'd not have to deal with this, because in my school, flash is heavily used and this has become a very big trouble that I would have corrected. Otherwise I will be forced to stop using Firefox, because it's too much an extra to have hassle to deal with. Also when updated to the latest version of flash player it does not correct the problem.

Due to a vulnerability declared in the current version of Adobe (https://helpx.adobe.com/security/prod.../apsa15-04.html), Mozilla has soft-blocked the latest version of the Shockwave Flash plugin. Therefore, you must enable on trusted sites to use instead of being able to set Firefox to allow all sites use Flash automatically.

If you are not accustomed to using the "Request to activate" feature a plugin, here's what to expect:

When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the Lego-like icon in the address bar to allow Flash. Your choice: for a current or permanent use.

But the page might be using Flash only followed or playing a video ad. If you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification, it will just sit there in case you want later.

  • Shockwave Flash says Firefox is vulnerable and requires the update when it has been updated.

After opening a page, Firefox gave a warning that "Shockwave Flash is vulnerable and needs to be updated". I went to get.adobe.com and updated to 17.0.0.169, but the warning was repeated and the blocked content. I checked youtube, which would play music and videos tutorial DIY of two tests without any problem, but still repeat the warning of block. I checked the Addons Manager, who said that he had to update Flash, but when I checked adobe it said I had the latest update. Manager of Addons for Flash, "always enable" under dimmed, the option 'request to activate' selected but grayed out when I clicked on the menu drop-down button, and the option "never activate" standard black text.

Hello von_tyrone, the latest version of flash, you need to update because it fixes several vulnerabilities is Flash Player 18.0.0.194. It is available at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

  • Enable Flash for only some sites

Flash implementation sucks and will eventually be replaced by HTML 5 features.

Today, most of the sites without Flash but still working a few forces. Those who did not need to flash will be more often when use even if the Flash is activated. To be able to use all sites, Flash enabled for all sites.

To speed up Firefox and be able to migrate away from Flash completely, I would like the default have disabled Flash and manually activate it for certain sites only. That the two would accelerate the experience of navigation and the overall migration of Flash to HTML 5.

    Try this addon: Flashblock

I think that Noscript also blocks Flash.
