  Drivers XP for Satellite L300 PSLB8E are placed on the European driver Toshiba page.
  To be honest I don t understand what you mean by the motherboard driver.
  The driver of the motherboard is unclear for me but Toshiba driver page contains all the necessary drivers!

  If you want to reinstall the XO you need to include the SATA driver first.
  Intel Storage Manager contains such driver!

  Motherboard necessary because video is not good model No. PSLB0A - 08: 022.

  Due to the price I'm looking for second hand machines with screens broken as a donor. If they could do that maybe they could exchange their broken screens. Sellers are not tech savvy enough to find a part number on the motherboard.

  There are so many different models of the L300 series. The specifications are hard to find on these discontinued models. I downloaded 2 sheets of the Toshiba site and when I opened the PDF file there is no information.

  Currently, I have a possible candidate PSLB0A-08E022, but I'm not sure. I don't know if they have common motherboard, isn't it? I just can't come up with the information I want.

  Anyone know the differences between motherboards for the different models?
  The guidelines that I can use to get a motherboard very correct to go with the rest of the material (remembering I'm going only for the number of model to go in and not the part number real motherboard).

  The motherboards that are built in the L300 model that are part of the PSLB0A (released in Australia) or PSLB0E (released in Europe) must be compatible with your device Satellite L300/H02!

  The L300 is a new series on the market. I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and it seems that XP drivers are not being released at this time

  By the way; As far as I know a few series L300 is equipped with the chip Realtek audio.

  If the its doesn't work under Win XP you could install the audio driver from Realtek site.

  You will develop a display driver for Windows 8.1 64 bits for all Toshiba Satellite models? I have a Satellite L300 - 2CR. The paradox is that when I installed the first time Win8, the display driver for Win 7 worked, now on the second format it no longer works.

  As much as I know old machines are not supported for Win8/Win8.1.
  Each new operating system brings also new standards for hardware so new notebooks offer newer hardware and hardware platforms.

  Development costs a lot of money and time. Then do a test and support. I can't imagine that the laptop manufacturers will make for some models of laptops designed for Vista. OS support for the LDP machines is very limited.

  Maybe it sounds silly now but for me there is no sense to use Win8.1 on this old piece of hardware. Win7 32 bit is, in my opinion, best solution for you.

  Hmm, that's strange, I don't have any idea of what Satellite L300 is, but generally a L300 series has been pre-installed with Vista Home Premium

  So I m wondering why Win 7 came preinstalled and why you get the Win XP Recovery disk

  Usually the L300 should be equipped with a HARD drive recovery partition containing the image of Toshiba.
  It should be able to recover the notebook using the recovery of HARD drive and this should help you to reinstall the Vista operating system.

  In my opinion that you should talk with your dealer maybe that the laptop was a replacement unit?

  When I go into run and type msinfo32 then expand the items and check problems for ethernet controllers it says that this device is not configured correctly and for the res, it tells the drivers for this device are not installed.   Now, I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 - 17 H laptop running Windows XP and everything works perfectly except the camera build-in the web.

  When I try to open the web camera, it's utility program does is display the message:

  And restarting the computer makes no difference.

  As you know Windows 7 is only the beta version and it is still not supported.
  This means that you can test without drivers Toshiba, tools and utilities.

  I use Windows 7 since last week on my Satellite Pro P300 and it works well. I didn't install any additional driver. For me, it's the same as Vista. The differences are not so great and terrible.
  The performance is OK. I'm didn't notice a big difference comparing with wista Vista.

  Install it and see if you like it or not.

  As already suggested in this forum the Vista 64 bit drivers are not available for all Toshiba laptops.
  What you can do is to search on different websites for these drivers for Vista 64-bit.
  For example, you can search on the page Intel or Realtek.

  Chip manufacturers should provide 64-bit drivers too.

  The 32-bit OS no matter if it s Vista or XP would recognize only 3.2 GB of RAM.
