Re-install Acrobat 7 Pro after XP to Windows 7 Pro

My computer has been updated from XP to Windows 7 Professional.  Everything is strange, of course, but now I'm trying to reload Acrobat 7 Professional.  My drive is a version LEVEL, but on it have the serial number for Acrobat 6, but cannot find how to find for re - load and then do the 7 Pro UPGRADE?  Help!

[email protected]

Acrobat 6 or 7 are compatible with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP, 32-bit. The first version which fully installs and runs on any newer version is Acrobat 8.1.

You need a newer version of Acrobat for Windows 7 license compatibility. Adobe and its resellers registered license currently Acrobat DC a perpetual license or subscription. Unfortunately, there is no upgrade of these older versions of Acrobat (i.e. Acrobat 6 or 7).

Am trying to re - install Acrobat 9 Pro (includes the Distiller) after installing a new hard drive. iMac 27 "2009, ElCapitan 11.11.6. I have the original dmg file. have also tried copying from back up. Same thing is happening anyway. It seems to load correctly. When open it asks my password but not to its own serial number. It is open, but don't watch not at the full bar at the top, that the word Acrobat, and it does nothing? Worked very well before the old drive crashing. On the same operating system?

Not compatible does not mean that it cannot work (even if sometimes this does not mean that). This means that it has never been tested and not be fixed; This often means people have seen strange and unpredictable issues.

Acrobat makes changes to the system, it is always more vulnerable. DC Acribat is the current version. If the goal is to slow down completely, perhaps more profitable subscription activity.

How can I re - download and install Acrobat Standard 11 - after I wiped my system install Win 8?

There is no trial version of Acrobat Standard XI. What Leonard has suggested would work however for Pro.

If you purchased via a download of Adobe Acrobat, you can re - download by going to the 'My orders' page on the Adobe web site (https://www.adobe.com/account/account-orders.html). You would find also here the serial number. If it does not, you can download the software here: download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X -if you have registered your software, you can find your serial number here: https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html#MyProductsHeader

  • Can someone help me install Acrobat 8 Pro on MAC 10.9.4?

Can someone help me install Acrobat 8 Pro on MAC 10.9.4?

I don't think that this version of Acrobat is compatible with your operating system (because the minimum requirement for Acrobat 9is Mac OS X v. 10.4.11 or 10.5)...

In other words, the time to upgrade to Acrobat XI.

  • Re-install Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, Windows

I'm trying to re - install this version via download as my new computer has no CD/DVD drive.  A window pops up, says that serial number is invalid (after several audits and double).

When I check the download page (download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9 ), I don't see downloads for Standard and Pro and non Pro Extended version. I recommend that you take your CD/DVD or USB key to someone who has a computer with a CD/DVD drive and copy the contents of the optic disc in the USB again. Then, you can install from the USB key.

In fact, I came across the same problem some time ago when I tried to re - install Acrobat 9 and since then, I have a copy of the installer saved on my network server. You will also encounter problems with the installation of updates to Acrobat 9, once you've managed to get the original version installed. Some updates will install when you activate the clock of the computer at a given date, other updates must be downloaded from the Adobe's FTP server and installed manually. See here for more information: where are my Adobe Acrobat 9 updates? -KHKonsulting LLC

Make sure you also read the comments, they contain useful information (for example on what date to use, and what update to use sequences - you will need to download and install the updates of most, but not all of them).

  • Install Acrobat DC Pro trial version without removing Acrobat 9 Pro?

I have 3 users in my environment who all Acrobat 9 Pro installed on their laptops.  They signed for this coming Sunday for Acrobat Pro DC class and the class requires that they install the trial of Acrobat Pro DC.  No one has me until today.  Is there a way to have both installed at the same time on the same Windows 7 64 bit computer?  No users have creative cloud, which is the only way I've seen it done so far.  Try to upgrade the version of Acrobat Pro 9 to DC at this point seems to be too much, as the whole issue is to assess whether users want to same transition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

who is supposed to be possible, but some users have problems.

before you do anything, get your serial number acrobat 9 pro, so if there are problems, you can reinstall acrobat 9 pro.

during the installation of acrobat dc, check a checkbox advanced options allowing you to prevent uninstallation of previous versions, before upgrade you to Creative Cloud 2015

Was originally on XP. Upgrade to Vista and Windows 7, then windows 10.   I just installed Office 365 and now my default to open a PDF file's Word.

I tried to re install acrobat and asked if I wanted the trial period of 30 days or what previous version of Acrobat I had (none).

    How do I activate it?

    Hi noel olebos,.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro on the old PC. Installed again PC & now cannot re - install Acrobat 9 Pro?

We moved 5 years windows 7 Windows 10 PC new PC. I pulled the Acrobat 9 Pro license keys using a program called Belarc Advisor, then uninstalled Acrobat of several of the older machines (we had 17 total & only need this version of Acrobat on 4 of the new PC). I then re-downloaded 9 Pro to Adobe's Web site and started to install it on the new PC, but when I went to enter the key I received an error "invalid license". I have re-confirmed that the key was correct and tried several times more but kept receiving the same error.

I contacted adobe via the chat AND phone support and they pretty much told me his abandoned and there is nothing they can do to help. On top of that we don't know yet who these licenses were recorded initially at (they were purchased for the years of business there, but the main buyer is not sure he was that come from this version of Acrobat for desktop). Is that what I can do to fix this? It seems that licenses that I pulled on several machines, all are the same, which leads me to believe that these are volume licenses.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

Could you please private message to check the serial numbers.

I'm assuming they might be volume licenses. I can be assured only once I can get them decoded.

  • Can I install Acrobat 9 Pro (with a valid serial number) on a second computer?

I have Acrobat 9 Pro installed on my Windows 7 computer and have a serial number valid. I had the program installed and running on a Windows XP computer as well, but I took it off the coast of this computer when I stopped using it. I downloaded Acrobat 9 to a new Windows 7 computer, but I was not able to install it. Is is possible to use Acrobat 9 Pro on two computers and if so, how? Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hello

Ideally, Acrobat 9 is not compatible with the windows 9. You can send the link to the same thing.

    ucts.html https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/Policy-Pricing/System-Requirements-Acrobat-Family-prod

However if you are able to use it, you can go ahead and use it. It could create problems.

It is possible to use any version of Acrobat on two systems on the same platform at the same time.

You must simply download Acrobat and serialize using the same serial number. Adobe allows two facilities for a license of Acrobat that could be installed on a different machine, be it laptop or a desktop computer, but they should be on the same platform.
