HPE H8-1110 SUPPORT RAID?

Currently I have a H8-1110 and would like to know if it supports Raid1.

Before going to another HARD drive, I started to search.

In the configuration menu, I get the SATA ACHI or IDE EMULATION... no Raid.

Does this mean that I'm out of luck?

Hello:

I extensively searched and could not find any information that indicates support for a RAID configuration.

If there is no RAID option in the BIOS, I don't think you can set up a RAID configuration.

    Hi all.

Recently, I upgraded my hard drive of 1 TB to 2 TB. I bought two hard drives of 2 TB because I planned to run RAID 1, but after that I cloned one of the 2 TB drives and removed the old 1 TB, I decided to save in a different way.   I have most of the things I wanted to back upward again on the old hard drive and another method seemed to be a better route. My uses of son for a little game and RAID 1 seemed to be struggling against productive and not as safe.

So, I'll be able to move my new drive 2 TB in RAID 0 with my other new 2 TB drive even if I use one right now?

    Hello

HP's instructions for configuring RAID using the AMD RAIDXpert. Read at least twice.

Check your BIOS settings and make sure that the SATA is set to RAID.

I suggest you connect hard drives to ports SATA 1 and 2 (blue and white). Among the old HP AMD motherboards we're picky about which ports SATA would be supported RAID.

BTW - RAID 1 is much more secure that it will provide redundancy in the event of a hard drive failure and RAID 0 won't.

  • AW17 R2, support Raid and Tweeking OC.

    Hi guys

So, I had my R2 17 for about 1 month now, and I really miss support raid. because according to me, it's kind of waste that I have 4 x Crucial MX200 500 GB SSDs 2280 m2, in the laptop and I can't use them in raid.

None of you don't know if it will come a bios update on this? and the option in the bios for OCing?

A little *, dell has removed the option RAID and many other useful tips for this line Echo. When other computers laptops Alienware came with open bios.

    Thanks in advance

    Norway.

    Hello

Unfortunately. We have not received any news on an update of the Bios that make this possible. Maybe it's an option that we will be able to add in the future for the Bios, but as of now nothing has been confirmed.

  • HPE 190 t: will HPE 190-t support a 3 TB internal hard drive

My main hard drive failed on my Pavilion Elite HPE 190 - t. I bought a toshiba 3 to int. HD to replace the original and I see only about 800 GB of total storage space. I have a second 2 TB drive and it shows the amount of entire storage.

Is it possible for me to get full use of 3 TB drive or am I limited by Truckee and 529 bios motherboard?

    Hello

You need a complete UEFI BIOS to support a hard drive 3 TB as a hard drive to boot and your PC does not have this level of BIOS.

However, you can use the HD 3 to as a hard only to data if you format GPT.

The best situation is to use a hard drive that is less than 2 TB and is not a model of advanced format.

  • Is Qosmio G40-108 supports RAID?

Does anyone know if the G40-108 supports the RAID1? According to the manual, the G30-204 made but there is no mention of RAID in G40 manual even if the G30 and G40 have double HARD drive.

    Hello

The G40 is an amazing camera. Very powerful and nice design. I like it!!!

So I looked on the net to get some info on built-in hard drives and
It seems that some of the units have been delivered with hard drives of 2 x 200 GB that supports the RAID without a doubt!

  • ESXi 5.1 U1 does not table off Adaptec 6805E (supported RAID Controller) - why?

    Hi all

I built a new system with controller RAID Adaptec 6805E with 3 to 6 discs. My system also has a SATA (AHCI mode) CD Rom and HD. When I go to install ESXI 5.1 U1, the SATA HD presents itself as a storage device however my table off the coast of the 6805E does not work. If I then install 5.1 U1 disk hard, when I use the vSphere client and a new analysis of the discs, the Bay off the coast of the 6805E does not appear.

The 6805E is listed as compatible 5.1 U1 in the guide here: VMware Compatibility Guide: search for i/o device

I tried to build the array to the size of 1.5 TB and 3 to, 4 to 8.7 to.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can look at the various logs on the server if that would be helpful - I don't know what I should be looking at.

I thank you very much in advance!

    did you get this job?

If not you have found, card is supported, but driver is asynchronous, which means that you need to install the driver separately, its not in ISO.

I turned on WOL in the BIOS and the integrated Realtek Gigabit LAN adapter properties are set to wake up the PC.  Magic packets are enabled.  Under the system, Win7 Home Premium 64-bit.  PC is connected and APC UPS.

    Hi Frank,.

You might want to look at this article on WOL MS and then this article.

Recheck the WOL in the bios.  S5 must be enabled.

  • Pavilion P7 - 1380t: the four cables SATA H - 61 Joshua mobo SATA 1, 2 or 3? Also this mobo support will be RAID?

I plan to add an SSD and tries to determine the level of support SATA mobo/system and if this computer supports RAID of any type.

Also, any experience installing a 850 EVO SSD Samsung, including using the migration of Samsung software?  Migration includes Outlook Hotmail?  Or, is Hotmail, including its storage, independent of the hard drive on my computer?

Finally, it is easy to configure the system to save the pictures and videos on a different hard disk (traditional) and just direct them to the library, as it appears on the main SSD with Windows?

    Thank you!

    Hello

The H61 Intel chipset supports SATA 2.  The information from the BIOS for the p7 - 1380t do not show the RAID support but you should check this information.  The SSD will require mode AHCI.  I suggest an SSD that is at least 160 GB and 240 + GB preference.

I used the latest version of the Samsung migration software and it clones then HD. However, I suggest that you back up your data and then use the external HP recovery media to load the SSD drive.

Yes you can redirect (move) the files of photos and video from Windows to another HD.  Right mouse click on the folder target, select properties then the location tab. Now, enter travel information.

  • DC 7600SFF - RAID/AHCI support?

I have 2 HP Compaq dc7600 Base Unit SFF (Small Form Factor) desktop computers.

Question: Can I / these PC can support RAID/AHCI?

    According to HWInfo32/Piriform Speccy:

    PU700AV

    18/05/05 V01.03 1 786 BIOS

    Intel 954G + ICH7 chipset

    (Edition expansion: Chipset - Intel i945P/PL/G/GZ (Intel 945 G chipset), Southbridge - Intel 82801 GB (ICH7/R))

If necessary, I can Flash the BIOS with the latest version.

Included in the process of upgrading these two machines from Vista to Win7 Pro (1 Vista Home Basic, Vista Business 1),

I plan to spend the only current SATA mechanical HDDs to SSDS - possibly in RAID O and use a scheduled backup of Win7 Pro; the mianboard has 2 SATA ports, DVD will take place over the IDE.

I will remove the original hard drives and installation/upgrade Win7 Pro to fresh hard/SSD drives; I should rush through this, I can simply re-install the original disks and get them online in the near future.

    Thanks for the pointers.

Reference: current SATA hard drives are displayed as ATA/ATAPI-7, is it a default / "legacy" translation? vs SATAII?

    Hello:

There is no drive controller settings you can change on the dc7600.

There is no BIOS update that will add RAID or AHCI support on the dc7600.

The first model to offer RAID was the dc7700 and the first to propose THAT RAID/AHCI was the dc7900.

The chapter of installation in the manual for the dc7700 indicates there are 3 options (AHCI/RAID and IDE), but I have not found a dc7700 who had all 3 parameters.

I have owned or worked on all models dc7xxx HP released, so I'm very familiar with them.

  • Card mother Asus P5BV-M - Raid support?

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone has used this before motherboard?  Discussions say it is supported, but still when I tried to install ESXi 3.5 (have not tried 4.0 yet) it shows the two discs.  The manual support for RedHat, but I guess I have to do something else in order to install the drivers for the raid etc.

Sorry for the stupid question, of ideas?

    Kevin

ESXi has only supported hardware RAID, so you no longer have access to separate drives. You can view the hardware compatibility list for supported RAID cards.

  • I can create RAID 0 with the Satellite A200-23 s

    Hello!
    -----
    I have Toshiba Satellite A200-23 s.
This laptop has two (200 GB) HARD drives.
Can I create RAID 0 with this HARD drive?
    -----
P.S. Sorry for my bad English

    Hello

First you must know that the A200 doesn t series support RAID technology!
Therefore, the RAID-0 is not possible.

The phone supports 2 hard drives, but you cannot use RAID settings.
The two hard drives can be used separately and independent of each other

  • RAID 0 Satellite X 200 - 24Z

    Hello

    I turn my 200 - 24Z equipped Satellite to 2-drive RAID 0 X.

    How?

    Thank you

    Hello

Are you sure that your Satellite X 200 - 24Z supports RAID functionality?

I m X 200 not owner but I have studied a little of my knowledge your laptop doesn't support RAID and so you cannot change the RAID settings.

As I said I m X 200 not owner and that it would be very interesting to know if you have found a tool/utility RAID preinstalled on your system.

    Feedback would be appreciated

    Best regards
