  I had a look on the DVD of recovery, but it does not all drivers. I tried to find & download the drivers for this model, but all that is available on the Toshiba site is upgrading the BIOS.

  Does anyone know where to find the rest of the drivers?

  I tried to install windows 7 on my C50-A-1JQ as several software packages that I use at work do not work with windows 8. After successfully installing windows 7 I have a list of connected UN-installed in my device manager. Include the Ethernet controller, network controller, PCI controller of encryption/decryption USB 2.0 - CRW. The Toshiba site has only windows 8.1 drivers listed for this model then does that mean that I will be unable to correctly install windows 7?

  I'm scared, you're right Mr. your laptop model is not supported for Win7, so I think it will be very problematic to find all the right drivers, tools and utilities.

  What should do? Try installing the drivers found by Win7. It would be possible to install the drivers provided for other similar models supported for Win7, but it's not easy to find all the drivers.

  Can you please provide an accurate list of missing drivers?

  For example you have installed driver chipset? If this isn't the case, install the Intel chipset driver.

  What I would do, is to connect to the internet after installing W7 and launch Windows Update utility. Who will download some W7 drivers for your laptop.

  For any still missing, use the Vista Business 32 or 64 bit drivers, according to the case.

  HP does not recommend installing Windows 7 on a computer comes with Windows 8, and it will support the installation of Windows 7. HP doesn't provide drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not take in charge some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.

  Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.

  You should ENABLE 'Secure Boot' and maybe 'Legacy Support' in the 'BIOS Setup boot secured' on the settings page below, before you try to install Windows 7;

  

  In addition, as the hard drive is partitioned as TPG, you must start the computer by using the "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" in the start menu "F9". If "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" or something to that effect does not exist in the start menu, please post a screenshot and/or make startup listed options.

  I suggest to use a disc of Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. If you need a Windows SP1, see 'How to install Windows 7 without the disc' to download and create your own. If the DVD does not start as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (can ask "Quick start" DISABLING in BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive.
