Re: Module Satellite L350-172 WLAN variable

Hello

Is it possible to change the Wlan (54g) module in another one (draft-n)?

Thank you

Hello

In your case, this is not possible because Sat L350-172 has been equipped with the card of Realtek WLan 802.11 g and it does not support the Draft N.
The Draft N need 3 wire antenna WLan and I guess that your model is compatible only 2-wire antenna WLan.

Good bye

As I already posted in your other thread the satellite L350-172 has been equipped with the card of Realtek WLan 802.11 g.

Windows 7 should be able to use the Vista drivers if you need a WLan driver then check the Realtek page and try to install the driver for Vista!

    Hello

It is not unusual that your HARD drive runs slower after the change of mode of AHCI SATA compatible.
You have disabled the SATA feature and so you cannot use the benefits of SATA.

And I must say that you are wrong buddy if you say that the AHCI mode does not work with XP.

You can use the SATA in Win XP, but you must include the SATA driver first.

  • Satellite L350 - 17Q - WLAN connection 30 minutes breaks

    Hey,.

My Toshiba Satellite has had serious net problems. I installed all of the correct drivers. In the first instance, the internet works perfectly, fast, smooth, I can watch streaming videos, you name it... Quite soon after like 30 minutes the pc suddenly decides he of been on the internet for too and everything is messed up. Stops the connection (WLAN), then when I decide to connect it again, firstly it is not not possible, then the second time, it connects and its slow. I mean that a page takes about 5 minutes to load. Backup pc where I am writing now works well with the Internet so there is nothing wrong with the connection.

The error windows only I get to this logbook system is that the kerberos package cannot be installed.

Is anyone aware of this problem and how to solve this problem?

    Hi Raʻiatea,

First of all, it would be interesting to know what appropriate drivers have been mounted. Then some information about your operating system would be good to clarify that more detailed

In other discussions in the forum WLAN you can already find many useful tips and instructions how to improve WIFI connection and make it more stable. I recommend reading these threads, they are very interesting.

My personal opinion at the moment, is that it has something to do with the WLAN energy saving function. In the Windows power management plan, you can disable this feature and set it to maximum performance. Maybe it helps :)

  • Satellite L350-262 - WLAN stopped working after Windows update

    Hi - help please!

Everything was fine until an automatic update on windows 7 applied about 14/15 December 2010. After that I turned off the wireless LAN to save battery while off line, then the wire will not pass on, I am currently connected via a cable connection 10/100.

I tried a restore when this problem first occurred, and it worked. However, the updates have applied new themselevs and I cannot now restore the update that seems to have caused the problem before the date on which took place.

I updated the driver that the adapter is realtek adapter and I have applied this update - realtek_wlan_win7_20100702, it did not work.

I ran the diagnostics which indicates the following:-Please note the wireless switch on the before the computer is on, and shows on the page of diagnostic, Diagnostics tool recognizes also when the switch is off, so it doesn't seem to be a physical problem with the wireless LAN switch, but something software related that has disabled the wireless LAN

    Hello

as I remember, there was the user with the same question in this forum. I don't know if he could solve it... I recommend:

1 remove all WiFi drivers installed on your system and restart the round, then. Afterwards, go to the driver page and download wlan driver http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads
    2. If it still does not, restore to previous operating system

  • Satellite L350-277 - WLAN connection disconnect

    Hello

I wonder anyone can help me, my system keeps disconnected internet for every 30-40 minutes. I use a modem to use home wireless internet for two laptops. The other laptop works perfectly fine, but keep this Toshiba cut for an unknown reason. He gets reconnected to the system on its own probably after 15-20 minutes, but it's boring work is getting interrupted.

    Can someone help me please?

    Hi chittipotti,

This behavior can have different reasons, but simple to sort this out would be a simple update of the WLAN driver. Take a look at the Toshiba WLAN driver portal where you can download the latest version:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

After the WLAN driver update you must disable management feature in Windows to energy WLAN power management.

By the way: what operating system you have and is the preinstalled operating system from Toshiba?

  • Satellite L350 - Wlan Atheros AR9281 driver for Win XP

    Hello

I just bought a Satellite L350 PSLD0C 03N08C. It's a Canadian laptop and it came with Vista. I couldn't find any good laptops with Windows XP so I decided to buy this model and it downgrade (seeing that * Toshiba Europe * had xp drivers). Everything was good XP (no need to diskette) installation, I also installed all drivers except one: the driver lan / wireless - Atheros AR9281

I projected print Vista Device Manager before I decided to downgrade just in case I would have problems like this. Here is the screenshot:

    http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?image=devicemanager1pz3.jpg

Here are the specifications of my laptop by the way: art http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en§ion=1&group=1&product=8193&p = 8282 #spectop

I called Toshiba Canada and I had used: "We do not downgrade from Vista" excuse. They have only Vista drivers on their website.

I tried to find the driver on google and it's the only link I could find:http://www.atheros.cz/download.php?atheros=AR9281&system=1

The problem is that the zip file that they allow you to download only a .sys file and 2 other files that I don't see how they could be used.

Please help me, I don't really want to put Vista on. I might as well go without a LAN/Internet on it.

I also noticed that the driver of Web cam didn't work at all. He told me that the driver could not load. So I downloaded the older version which is available and IT WORKED!
(I just wrote this in case someone is using the search function on the same issue. webcam * I installed all the drivers are of the Toshiba Europe y http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp)

    * P.S. Common Modules driver isn't working either.*

    * EDIT: I have it RESOLVED WITH CE* http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads ! Thank you so much for this thread Andrej: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=37410&tstart=0

Even if the pilot does not say what card it is, he acknowledged my XP on my laptop and internet works fine.

The diver of common Modules still does not work. I will edit if I fix it before someone answers. How it does not work is because when I try to install Toshiba controls it tells me that "TOSHIBA common Modules is not installed on your computer. I can go on, but it does not (obviously).
    * If the only problem remains for me to fix and finish my downgrade becomes the FN key or special keys of recherche.*

  • Satellite L350-14F - Vista cannot start the Realtek RTL8101e WLAN

    Dear readers

I'm Dutch, if my English is not very good, so my apologies for that but I have a big problem.

My Toshiba Satellite L350-14F with Realtek RTL8101E family PCI-E fast ethernet NIC (NDIC6.0 with Vista OS) cannot establish a connection with the outside world...
I tried many drivers, but all do not work... I can't find any other driver. So I guess there must be something else on the computer...

I reinstalled my computer while going to format all my hard drive and I have no CD of drivers for the laptop.
When I got a _wired_ connection, Vista can try solve the problem itself. He found a driver and then I am redirected to a site of toshiba... Where to download a driver from East. I start the download and installation, but then the installation says that I don't have a correct serial number...

All this me freaks out there... who can help me please?

    Greetings
    Roy

PS: I checked my BIOS for strange things and one thing caught my attention on
I have an option: Wake On LAN anti-piracy. And it is disabled
BUT I can't change it to activate.

    Hello

First of all, it would be interesting to know what you mean without link with the outside world
The wireless network card is recognized correctly in the device (without yellow exclamation points) Manager?
The router is visible on your computer?

First of all, you must make sure that you use the latest WLAN driver on Toshiba website:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online downloads support & -online Download Driver

Additionally, make sure that you have installed the latest version of BIOS that you can find on the site of Toshiba, too.

You should check the WLAN Setup on your laptop and the router. Make sure you that you have disabled Vista of WLAN power save function. You can find this option in Vista Power Management.
Make sure that you use the same standard WLAN on your laptop as on the router, for example, 802. 11B or 802. 11 g.
Last but not least you must update the firmware on your router. You can find it on the site of the factory. After the firmware update unplug the router for 5 minutes of the AC adapter.

    Good luck!

PS: Wake on Wireless LAN has nothing to do with this issue. It of a feature that you can boot the laptop via a WLAN connection.

  • Common Modules diver does not work on Satellite L350 with Win XP

The diver of common Modules is * not working *.
How it does not work is because when I try to install Toshiba controls it tells me that "TOSHIBA common Modules is not installed on your computer. I can go on, but it does not (obviously). I've tried versions 1.00.05, 1.00.08 (both of which are on the European driver from Toshiba site) and 1.00.22SE, 6.05.01.TE (from another site) and none of them work.

After you have installed one of them I get this message from PowerSaver: 'TOSHIBA common Modules does not run correctly. You can use TOSHIBA Power Saver. "A strange thing is that the driver Toshiba common Modules _doesn ' t appear in Add/Remove Programs_ and I can't find the place where to uninstall it. How I installed other versions is simply their execution.

    My laptop is a Satellite L350 PSLD0C-03N08C (http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en§ion=1&group=1&product=8193&p = 8282 #spectop art).
Toshiba Canada site has only the drivers Vista (VAP). All the drivers on Toshiba Europe site worked perfectly.
    * Please help me, this is the only part that is left for my downgrade.* I can't use Power Saver, the Fn keys and all these important things if I don't get fixed.

+ PS for those who are interested in a history of my downgrade problems can be found here: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=37432+

    Hello

As you said that it is a Canadian model of laptop and if the common Modules are not designed specifically for this laptop then this application will not work correctly.

So, we found a reason why the joint work of modules-> this software doesn t is not designed for your notebook from the series.

Unfortunately, if the Toshiba Canada page doesn t provide the Win XP tools and utilities for you laptop, then you must wait and must run Notepad without these tools.

    Welcome them

Laptops can be equipped with various wireless network cards, and that's why you can find three different WLan drivers on the Toshiba page.

  • Satellite L350 - cannot connect, WLAN device is disabled

I just bought a Satellite L350 of second hand, and the wifi does not work properly.

I'm annoyed because I specifically asked the seller if it was OK before I bought it, so I need to know if a hardware or software problem. It is under Vista Home Premium. The symptoms are if I try to connect to my wireless router [which my other laptop can see and connect to OK] it comes up with a window telling me that "the wireless network device is disabled. Please turn the unit "-of course everything is turned on and active as it should.

Someone tell me if it is a hardware or software problem?

    Hey Buddy,

I m not owner of this laptop, but I think the error message says it all... The WIFI card is disabled, and you must activate it so that you can use the WLAN connection.

As far as I know on the front of the laptop there is a switch of material for a WLAN connection. Must be on IT.
In addition using FN + F8 key combination you can also turn off/turn on the wireless network card.
