  My Toshiba Satellite has had serious net problems. I installed all of the correct drivers. In the first instance, the internet works perfectly, fast, smooth, I can watch streaming videos, you name it...   Normally you get factory settings if you are using the Toshiba recovery disc. It will restore the pre-installed Windows version that came with your laptop.

  If you have Windows 7, you can t create a Toshiba Recovery disk. Only possible on what s preinstalled Windows from Toshiba, but if you install your own copy, you can create such a floppy.

  I'm trying to fix Satellite L350-277 of my sister-in-law following a HARD drive failing. Before the crash, he was running Win7 Home Premium (32 bit) that was preinstalled on the HARD drive. I managed to run Belarc on it before it went completely, but could not create the restore disc in time.

  Disk failure HARD seems to be due to bad sectors and once failed, could not get past startup repair. While they were inspecting HARD drive (in the USB enclosure), both C: and D: (backup partition) appeared to be intact, so guessed was discussed with MBR.
