Satellite L350-277 - WLAN connection disconnect

Hello

I wonder anyone can help me, my system keeps disconnected internet for every 30-40 minutes. I use a modem to use home wireless internet for two laptops. The other laptop works perfectly fine, but keep this Toshiba cut for an unknown reason. He gets reconnected to the system on its own probably after 15-20 minutes, but it's boring work is getting interrupted.

Can someone help me please?

Hi chittipotti,

This behavior can have different reasons, but simple to sort this out would be a simple update of the WLAN driver. Take a look at the Toshiba WLAN driver portal where you can download the latest version:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

After the WLAN driver update you must disable management feature in Windows to energy WLAN power management.

By the way: what operating system you have and is the preinstalled operating system from Toshiba?

  • Satellite L350 - 17Q - WLAN connection 30 minutes breaks

    Hey,.

My Toshiba Satellite has had serious net problems. I installed all of the correct drivers. In the first instance, the internet works perfectly, fast, smooth, I can watch streaming videos, you name it... Quite soon after like 30 minutes the pc suddenly decides he of been on the internet for too and everything is messed up. Stops the connection (WLAN), then when I decide to connect it again, firstly it is not not possible, then the second time, it connects and its slow. I mean that a page takes about 5 minutes to load. Backup pc where I am writing now works well with the Internet so there is nothing wrong with the connection.

The error windows only I get to this logbook system is that the kerberos package cannot be installed.

Is anyone aware of this problem and how to solve this problem?

    Hi Raʻiatea,

First of all, it would be interesting to know what appropriate drivers have been mounted. Then some information about your operating system would be good to clarify that more detailed

In other discussions in the forum WLAN you can already find many useful tips and instructions how to improve WIFI connection and make it more stable. I recommend reading these threads, they are very interesting.

My personal opinion at the moment, is that it has something to do with the WLAN energy saving function. In the Windows power management plan, you can disable this feature and set it to maximum performance. Maybe it helps :)

  • Satellite L350-235 permanently connection / disconnection of the internet

I have a good wireless signal and I am connected to the internet, but I can only access the web pages for a few minutes or more before I get error messages.

My four fellow are able to connect to the internet through the same router, and it's only on my account original (I have set up two user accounts) that happens.

This happens when I have the Ethernet cable and the wireless on my laptop, and I've tried it in other places, so I know that the problem is caused by my laptop. I am also able to access the internet on the safe mode.

What is wrong and how do I sort?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Maybe you need to update the driver LAN and WLAN from your laptop. Have you ever done this?

If you have installed an antivirus or a firewall, disable them and test it again. Maybe it s blocking of the Internet connection.

And what operating system you are using?

  • Satellite L350-277 - how to recover to factory settings?

I had a lot of problems with my Satellite L350-277. I had already created a recovery to help drive the Tech that was installed on the laptop guy.

In any case, it is time to reinstall again to the State of the plant. Thoughtless I pulled a drive of my computer Vista laptop satellite (I thought it was the original disc). All goes well until it restarts after you install windows system. On the screen was the warning that the product key was wrong, that's when I noticed the Vista on the screen. So I tracked down to the copy I made, it was not in the channel where I put the original his was among all the garbage I've had in the area (where I put all the waste). He was full of scratches and it does not load.

What I had actually done using the Vista disc has been clear the program on the D drive that reads from Windows 7. I ended up going to the PCWorld Tech guys. They have reinstalled windows 7 for the cost of £50. I didn't mind that I got my laptop working again. What I did not know according to them, was I can't create a recovery disk.

So to my question. Can I get my laptop back with all Toshiba knick knacks, so that its possible to create a restore disk. If not, can I get a Windows 7 disc installation program, download all drivers & create a restore disk in case of something that happens and I can reinstall windows 7? Get cramps in my fingers now. I'm not going on a little lol.

    Hey Buddy,

That s a little confused is your story...

Normally you get factory settings if you are using the Toshiba recovery disc. It will restore the pre-installed Windows version that came with your laptop.

If you have Windows 7, you can t create a Toshiba Recovery disk. Only possible on what s preinstalled Windows from Toshiba, but if you install your own copy, you can create such a floppy.

If you have the original operating system back, you can order a recovery disc Toshiba here:

  • Win 7 restore without disk recovery on Satellite L350-277

    Hi all

I'm trying to fix Satellite L350-277 of my sister-in-law following a HARD drive failing. Before the crash, he was running Win7 Home Premium (32 bit) that was preinstalled on the HARD drive. I managed to run Belarc on it before it went completely, but could not create the restore disc in time.

Disk failure HARD seems to be due to bad sectors and once failed, could not get past startup repair. While they were inspecting HARD drive (in the USB enclosure), both C: and D: (backup partition) appeared to be intact, so guessed was discussed with MBR. I have used Clonezilla to clone new HARD drive and I'm now work - failure of HARD drive it's always like it was incase I need to clone again.

With the HARD drive clone, I first tried to use bootrec.exe but some successful how to 'break' C: and could not see anything in the score.

BTW I am currently using a copy of DVD retail Win 7 to provide the functions of "restore". However the Toshiba restore capabilities do not appear in the list of options. So I decided then to install everything on C: retail copy to see if I could access toshiba restore functions using data in D:, that doesn't seem to work either.

Then I stumbled on this thread that gave me the hope to be able to start the Toshiba recory tool:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=44382

I was hoping that Vista and Win7 preinstalls would be very similar, but the HARD drive has a recovery partition (D:\ HDDRecovery) and seems to fall in step 13. There are two files boot.wim in this partition: 'D:\hddrecovery\oddfiles\sources\boot.wim' and 'D:\hddrecovery\oddfiles\hddprep\sources\boot.wim '. Imaging either of these files does not cause the file according to the instructions of step 13. Here again, the guide is based around the Vista installation...

So what I try to do is to retrieve the data from the old HARD drive with the damaged boot record in order to restore the Win 7 OS pre-installed Toshiba. I seem to have the data (old HDD still retains files) do not seem to have enough knowledge now do!

    Can someone help me?

On the one hand I can understand your wish to install the recovery image, but on the other hand, for me personally, this is nothing but waste your time for nothing. In General, recovery image is designed may not be copied or manipulated so this guy was very lucky.

Problem is that this recovery disk is not created after the purchase of the laptop.

Maybe it sounds stupid to you, but I recommend you restore disk original order for this machine.
You can order it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
It costs 30 Euro only. With this money, you will get original recovery disk that includes the operating system active, all necessary drivers, tools, utilities and a few additional and useful applications.

Using this disk, you will be able to have perfectly working machine in just 2 hours.

One more thing: the use of the disc is unlimited and you can use it 1000 times and each time you have enabled and configured perfectly BONE.

  • Satellite L350 does not connect to the internet, network adapter yellow exclamation

Trying to help my Nan with his laptop...
    Model is Satellite L350-170

Does not connect to internet, even using the Ethernet cable. Network cards have yellow exclamation marks on it and seems he needs an updated driver. How the hell can I download and update if it does not connect to the internet. And then, what update is necessary, because I searched on here and there is no update driver for network card?

She had various internet help from its supplier and a visit at home but still no joy. Internet works fine on other devices. Any advice greatly appreciated.

All the drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba UE driver page.
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Choose your model of laptop in the form of download and the system that is pre-installed on you unit.
Then, you will get the list of drivers.

If you are not able to connect to the internet due to lack of driver LAN/WLan, then you another computer for download.

You asked how to remove the network card?
Usually, you need to access the Device Manager (in Control Panel) then we need to expand the area to network adapters and you will find the LAN and WLan card.
Click the single LED adapter, and then press or click on uninstall button driver

  • Satellite L350 - is not connect to the router

I had a problem with the radio on my Satellite L350. Even if the router is right next to the computer, it is not for her. It can see if I do a search but only says: connection not available. I have 2 other computers works great on the router. The router is a Netgear.

    Any body can help?

    Hello

What should I say now? First attempt to update the WLAN driver that you find on the Toshiba WLAN Portal:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

Also, check the TCP/IP settings of the wireless network card. If your router supports DHCP, check if this option is enabled. Also make sure that the DHCP client and DNS work properly.

You use a firewall? If so try turning it off. Maybe it s blocking of the Internet connection.

By the way: what OS do you have?

  • Satellite L350-21F NO CONNECT the power SUPPLY

The computer tells me in Windows it is not connected to the power supply, even if it is connected. I tried with and without battery, also the power icon is not lit, and now the battery is almost empty. The computer worked for the past 6 years and now all of a sudden what happens.

Can you help me how to find which component does not work? What are the factors despite the adapter are possible because of this problem and how can I know?

    Thank you in advance.
    Elenktik

    Hello

I think first of all you must check if the adapter is OK.
    The Satellite L350 requires a 6.32 A AC adapter 19V

    Possible part number: PA3290E-3AC3

The same thing happens on my laptop. I don t know why but the laptop disconnected every 2 minutes using WPA WLan encryption.

  • Satellite L350-277 - can I install driver touchpad of another model?

I just changed from a Satellite M70 and the touchpad performance is far superior. Is it possible to install the driver for the touchpad on the L350 M70? Anyone see any problem?

The Satellite L350 pilot leaves the pointer jumps all over the screen. Before say you 'change settings' - I - for about an hour.
The Satellite M70 driver has much more stability and more features - like every corner can have a function - copy / paste for example.

Every technophobe in the Toshiba got ideas, before I screw to the top of the main interface on my new L350.

    Hello

I can t imagine that jumping is caused due to the driver. Make sure that you do not touch the touchpad if you type something. Alternative, you can disable the touchpad due in writing if you press FN + F9.
    Check this box!

And before you install a driver from another laptop you need to test the latest driver for your laptop. Please first check from Toshiba Web site for an update of the L350 driver:

By the way: what OS is installed at present? Do you use a preinstalled OS from Toshiba?

  • Satellite L100-120 WLAN connectivity problem

It is very difficult to connect to a wifi network, the activity is very slow between 200-500 bytes sent and received, and often, with excellent signal, I get the message "no or limited connectivity.

Now I use an external adapter that gives me good connectivity, with 4 giga bytes sent and 23 giga bytes received. I updated the driver, now, I 10.5.1.59 version. He has not much improved. I'm still 6 months warranty, but I have trouble finding a service. I'm in France, Nancy and me told me that I have to pack up and send my laptop for service in another city. I wonder why can't help on the site, because the most likely solution is to replace the adapter.

Can be worn for several days, it's hardly what I expect my laptop. It's a faulty device on my laptop, that gives me a lot of problem and to solve it, I have to endure more discomfort. I guess it's easier to buy an external device and forget that I already have one on my laptop.

If someone could give me some advice, I would be very grateful, and if you can suggest a solution that would be really great.

    Hello

I wonder if you tried to update the BIOS.
To my knowledge the new BIO 2.0 should solve some problems with the WLan connectivity and performance.
    I recommend trying this.
The BIOS is located on the site of Toshiba.

    A friend good luck :)

  • Satellite P100-277 - recovery connection and WLAN problem

Hi, I have a Satellite P100-227 and of the format and reinstall windows. First of all, the Toshiba Recovery disk wouldn't work - it would go through the motions, but windows would freeze on the screen where it is intended to calibrate your screen before entering the windows installation. It is the SECOND disc I bought at Toshiba who broke by the way! I'm worried about my CD before ask you, I used this disc once before to shape about a year ago and it has not been touched for. I tried both discs and no work - the other oldest won't read even since the drivers of compression at the beginning of the recovery.

So I'm an old XP disc (I run XP btw) and decided to try to install windows this way to check that my laptop was working, which is - I installed XP very well to a good Windows disc and a code is legitimate. However, I have now no drivers for my laptop and the internet does not work - my wireless will not connect at all, let alone register that there is a wireless connection (he used to appear in the lower right, once it was turned on). "When I go to Device Manager and look for network adapters, all there is ' 1394 Net adapter" is said works very well.

I wonder if there is no drivers for my wireless card, as I have not used the Toshiba restore disk. I tried to put in the 'work' toshiba disk in to see if there are drivers out there that I can access but can't find anything. I can't afford, or be bothered to order a different CD from Toshiba that will break after a format, so my question is; can someone link me to the drivers/software I need for my laptop to connect wirelessley to internet please?

I hope I gave enough information for a person to be able to answer me - I need my laptop ASAP to work!

    Thank you!

    Hello

Perhaps this Toshiba HowTo might help you:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/Ann.jspa?annID=78

I think that you didn t find a good driver Wlan and that's why you couldn't get the WLan to work.
Check the Wlan card, then you will get the right driver.

PS; Here you can find all WLan drivers for Toshiba laptops.

WiFi is turned on. He finds my BT Home Hub but when I connect, it just says: it's impossible.

  • Satellite C660 - 115 WLan connection only works when the power cable is connected

    Hello

A few weeks ago, I bought a Satellite C660-115. I want to surf the internet anywhere in my house without any son/cables.
On the first day, I had this problem: when I disconnect _power_ cable, the wireless connection will stop working.

The Web page on my screen will always be there, but a new page loading is a problem.
It is sometimes useful to recharge (by pressing F5), - sometimes not. It is always useful to "ip address of repair", but not for long.

The only solution is to atach regardless of how much power the battery has still the power cord.
When I do, it is no problem whith the connection at all.
I went back to the store where I bought it, they related to their own wireless network and they have had the same problem after a few minutes. In the shop too attach the power cable solved the problem.

So the problem must be in my lap top, not in my network (modem or almost).

Doesn't this all seem familiar, and if so, how can I solve this?

I hope that my English is understandable, I live in Holland.
    Thanks in advance!

    Here is the solution:

  • Re: Satellite L350 - unable to connect to my router

I wonder if anyone can help.

My portable Satelite L350 will connect to each wireless network, I met with the exception of my house. This is a Buffalo wireless router and other laptops will connect to it no problem, it seems that my laptop and router buffalo communicate with each other.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Hello

If you are looking for wireless networks in range you can see your Buffalo router?

Make sure you are using the same standard wireless to the router and the laptop, for example, 802.11 g or draft N.
On the laptop, you can check this in the properties of the card WLAN (Device Manager).

If you use Windows Vista, you must disable the functionality of the energy-saving WLAN card. You can find in power management.

Have you tried another laptop on your router? Maybe the router causing this problem and not the laptop
