Re start BB blackBerry smartphones

I know there is a way to do this without pulling on the battery, but do not remember. My phone has the otterbox protecting and it becomes a bit of a pain to remove it to remove the battery, if I have a problem. Thank you

    Hello

It seems that you might be missing some required system files and something might have been accidentally deleted in the process of installing and uninstalling various applications yesterday.

In this case, I recommend to reload the operating system using the method in the link below:

You should get back up and running.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

  • Theme of blackBerry Smartphones has frozen my blackberry

I downloaded a theme on the morning of the bb app world now my phone is frozen. Its stuck on the main screen and it is locked. All buttons are inadmissible unless the caps lock, shift, and alt button. I tried removing the battery and putting it back on nothing has changed. It just says: initializing with a green circle, and that's it.

After downloading the theme, he asked if I wanted to apply, this small clock for the load came out. The phone took the time to apply so I went to remove the other themes to free memory to make it faster. After you remove the other theme, it got stuck on authentication for a long time, so I took out the battery. When you restart the bb the new theme has been applied, and now the phone is stuck on the main screen. Help, please!

"The file is currently being used"
If I select OK; It does not remove it and this is the only option to select. Could someone let me know what can delete?

    Hello

Assure us that first that no other application is using the file.

Start your Blackberry in safe mode.

Use the option of the Explorer in the main menu of the media to locate and delete the file.

(Procedures with pictures are listed below).

When you are finished with the file, and then restart (battery pull) your device in normal mode.

Once I deleted it, I made a stop down by pressing ctrl alt del, and when he came he did nothing so I reboot several times by removing the battery and it has started to respond after I realized that e-mail icons have disappeared. Now with the last restart, the BBM works apparently but with the e-mail account, I tried deleting and adding several times, but I can't see any icon email, only the general one, but when I try to open it does nothing, but I see that I have emails. • BlackBerry Smartphones frozen at startup. Need help as soon as possible.

Woke up this morning to find my Torch 9800 had run out of battery is completely dead. When I tried to charge the phone, the start screen came as normal, but it froze when he got up to a certain point, I took out the battery and replaced it after 30 seconds, the phone began to restart and then frozen at the same point.

I reinstalled the OS on my Blackberry Desktop and have tried this several times today, but it freezes always at the same point, after about 20-30 minutes to let the phone finally very slowly her!

I was wondering if someone can help me? At the moment my phone is completely useless to me because it froze again.

A couple of days, that my blackberry was showing messages telling me that I had to close the web pages because the memory was full, I just ignored this message but don't know if its has contributed to the problem?

    All answers are appreciated.

You probably (I suppose) have a third-party application or theme do something.

Try to start the machine up in Mode without failure.

Article ID: KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

Once started in safe mode, remove/uninstall third-party applications and themes. And then try to restart again normally.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
