  I installed Firefox yesterday. Everything is OK except the splash screen (home page) has a video on it. I played and I now want to remove it.

  You can record video using the built-in camera application or some other applications.  But the video recording of a Tablet is a little difficult without getting fragile.

  Do you run a specific application while the laptop freezing?

  These symptoms may be related to some software conflicts between installed applications or some drivers not work.

  Have you ever tried to recover the laptop back to factory settings?
  Otherwise, I think you should try this procedure and it must conduct audits after the device has been recovered...

  In my eyes there s nothing unusual. I imagine that the CPU and the network run with high performance while using 7 tabs IE7 (7 sites).
  This can lead to a few intermissions.
  In addition, I would recommend Vista to the latest status update!

  With regard to the issue of fingerprints and firefox:

  Please do not be angry on me, but make you it so complicated. Let's be clear on this:

So if you want to install the OS by using Toshiba recovery media will be deleted all content saved on the HDD, formatted partitions and lately OS will be installed.   Well, as far as I know the Tecra M4 was delivered with two graphics cards.
  -nVIDIA GeForce FX Go6200 with 64 MB
  -nVIDIA GeForce Go6600 with 128 MB FX

  I think that there are many types of Tecra M4 with and many other different parts (CPU, HARD drive, etc.).
  I think that if you want to change the graphics card, you need to change other pieces of equipment. (motherboard, cooling, fans, etc.)
  In this case I suggest that it of not possible to upgrade the card without any other replacements.

• Hinge on Tecra M4 has developed cracks

  As it says in the title, my old Tecra M4 Tablet well used but not abused 1 year has begun to develop cracks around the hinge. At present, they are only untied but I fear that they may mean a larger underlying problem. Has anyone else had the same experience? Any ideas if it would be covered by my (extended) warranty (I can't send it back now that I rely on so heavily for my studies, but he can probably come back can some time while I'm on vacation).

  I hope that someone can help you. I have problems to read the latest games related to my video card. But the games I want to play are not only demanding and my video card should suffice (the standard nvidia 6600 GO)

  The problem is probably due to drivers, but I can't seem to update a more recent driver and the latest toshiba driver is supllying me with is dated more than a year so there is no help is no longer. Any body know where I can find a working driver?

  And yes I have tried many things including of course the standard drivers ndvidia and a few other drivers as well but all say that they cannot find any material that needs these drivers. It's pretty lame because I am wuite sure I have a standard geforce in there.

  If I try the windows update, it asks a nv4_sys.blabla I don't know what that's all.

  I found some information on this device and it seems that it has been delivered with nVIDIA GeForce FX Go6600 64 MB or 128 MB.
  Toshiba usually recommend using own designed drivers because this driver is designed specifically for the use of the laptop. The other manufacturer s original drivers are designed for office use.
  However, I read some topics and the omega drivers work sometimes nice.
  You can try to use it, but the own risk.

None of the keys work to all the computer starts normally, but when I go to log the keys do not work, none of the lights work no more which means that the plugs lock ect.   I see conflicting reports. All models of 6470b have the AMD Radeon and Intell GPU? I just bought a 6470 refurb HP division b. A very nice unit; No one can confirm the GPU. I do not see an AMD in Device Manager; support suggested to install the AMD driver, but still, it does not show in DM. There is nothing that I see in the related graphics of switching BIOS.

  I can update BIOS, but will not if my unit is not required (i.e. only has 4000 Intel).

  My camera is an i5 CPU (not HD +) NVS, if no aid.
