• Connection to mysql Dreamweaver CS6 Question

  I use DW CS6. I have bulit a site for the company that I work for who has a purchase order online who submits to a mysql database. Everything works fine up until recently. We have a creative cloud subscription, so my CS6 automatically updated to new CC DW not too long ago. I'm not affixed to CC, but I'm much more comfortable with the functionality of CS6 see that's what I've learned about. I am self-taught with DW, php and mysql, picking up everything I can find on the internet and on YouTube. I have re-uploaded CS6, but in this transition, I lost all my server settings. All of my settings for MySQL connections under server behaviors have not changed.

• Cannot install CS6 - install, upload questions

  Very frustrated.  Tried every method... downloaded download at least five times... help wanted, boards... even tried turning off "verify checksums" in disk utility.  I get different errors each time.  Sometimes download happens at the end and fails.  Download to work finally got, then install fails... then finally able to install, but fails after selecting the product names.

• Automatically upload files to server on save does not (CS6)?

  My workflow includes using a local test of Linux server. I noticed that by selecting the "automatically download files to the server when recording" box on our local test server does not download files on the test server when you press CTRL-s to save the current file. However, by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-u not uplaod the file very well.

  Anyone else notice that this function does not work or is this something else in my configurations?

  I met the same problem in DreamWeaver CC 2015. The problem proved that auto-push save only works if you have the appropriate box selected for TWO tests server and remote server. If it is activated only for one, it won't do.

  Be extremely careful with this because you must ensure that you have selected in the files, the test server pane otherwise it will be auto-push on your production server!

  This bug must REALLY be resolved to prevent disasters...

• CS6 Dw hangs when it is connected to a remote server

  First of all, thanks to all those who have contributed here I found a ton of useful info on these forums.

  I am facing a problem that has been around for awhile, but I'm afraid, I was unable to find a solution. Dreamweaver (CS6) is very slow/unresponsive in work as part of a 'Site' connected to a remote server. The weird part is that this happens only on my laptop, the feature works fine on my desktop PC which has almost identical characteristics except that my laptop is 100% SSD (you would think it would be more efficient). It hangs for a few seconds when you save a file, which IMO is acceptable, I understand that it is pushing it to the server. The real problem comes when I'm switching between open files, or open a new file. Two of these actions take about 10-15 seconds, during which Dreamweaver has a crisis and I get notification (no response) in the bar of the window.

  Dreamweaver is updated, I use no archiving/retrieval functionality. In the server settings, I have «automatically download to the server after...» "and"Maintain synchronization information"checked.  Ftp services work perfectly with my remote server, Notepad ++ also works very well.

  PC card in case it is important: (laptop is almost two years but decent hardware and short grand otherwise)

  NOTE: in addition, once the file is actually opened and loaded, DW works fine; no lag, no hanging. It is the Act of switching/opening files (file at the top of DW tabs) which takes forever. Economy/downloading files takes less than 5 seconds and during this time, you see the download dialog box and DW does NOT get the "(ne répond pas) ' as it does when switching/opening files."

  Dreamweaver is designed to operate on local files that you upload to the remote server when you are finished editing the. I don't have CS6 installed, but I think he allowed you to work on individual files without defining a site beforehand, and some people used it to edit files in situs, that is what it looks like you do. It is no longer possible in Dreamweaver CM³. You must define a site to be able to edit a file.

  Dreamweaver CS6 is is no longer officially supported. If it works well otherwise, I think that you'll just have to consider this shift as a reality. You access files on a network link, so there is a latency. Why it happens on one machine but not another is a mystery.

  If it's all confusing then perhaps your camera came with a CD on which you may have a software to upload your images to your computer.

  Please save the image on the same computer and then try and open it in Photoshop.

  In addition, you can try to reset the Photoshop preferences to default values and see if that helps.

  Start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

• installation of the standard cs6 on laptop design

  I had standard design cs6 on my pc for 3 years and just recently tried to install on my laptop as well.   As far as I understand it, I am able to install on 2 computers. So I should be ok from that point of view.  However, after installation and restart the laptop, and when I try and open any component of the standard design cs6, it tries to validate my license and connect to the creative cloud.  He said then I need to sign in with my adobe id, but that there is no internet connection or the clock is set incorrectly.  None of these apply.  Why is it not let me access my software?  I'm doing something wrong?  It seems installs successfully.  And I've checked that the license is registered in my adobe account.   I have to be connected by cable and not wireless?  I wouldn't think so, but who knows?
