  Please, I really need your help. I had my laptop has lowered Windows 8 for Windows 7 (64-bit). Now after the installation of the new operating system, I can no longer connect to the wifi. Here are the details of my laptop and the problem.

• HP 15 Notebook: Notebook lacks Wifi Driver

  I had recently lowered the score of 10 Windows to Windows 8 (Pro) using an installiation disk I got in college (but it has not used so far). The installiation succeeded, but the laptop doesn't recognize any wireless wifi signals. My old laptop and other household products are able to connect to the wifi fine. (using my old laptop to type this message). I think I had wiped the drivers that were previously installed when I was demoted. What should I do?

• Cannot access the Web Configuration of RE1000 page once I have connected to my wireless network

  I can't access the Setup page of my wireless range Extenders RE1000 via IP 192.168.1.1 address once I have connected the Extender to my wireless network.  I was connected to the router via my mac and even took my mac out of wireless networks (just to be sure he wasn't trying to get to the IP 192.168.1.1 wireless.

  It happened a few times.  After it happened the first time I reset the access point and was able to get back to the web administration page.  I updated the firmware and exactly the same problem repeated once I plugged in my network home.

  This is a security feature? (Perhaps once it's on the wifi network you don't want just anybody access admin functions...?) A bug?  Or something else?

  If you don't set a static on the RE when IP address configure it on the connection of the SSID, it will grab an IP address from the router. You need to look in the router DHCP client table to find the RE of the new IP address. You can also use a reservation DHCP from the router to assign an IP address to the STIMULUS, but static IP is the best.

• Two e4200 or 1 e4200 and Re1000

  My e4200 v2 arrived today to replace my v1. I installed it with an amplifier re1000 for our House.   Fix. The RE1000 repeating wireless signals. This increases the volume of traffic by at least 2 wifi leaving you with less than half of the possible bandwidth.

  With a second access point (e.g. an E4200 in bridge mode connected to your main router) the two access points can run on different channels and therefore to use the bandwidth full on each.

• RE1000 continually abandons its connection

  I spent several hours (too many) is trying to establish why my new RE1000 won't hold its connection for longer than about 30 seconds. The following is in the diagnostic log. It is said that the ping does not reach more than 30 seconds, but when I ping using diagnostics (RE1000) we get a response from the gateway (192.168.100.1).

  I checked the firmware for my WAP (Linksys WAP4400N) as well as my gateway/router (Linksys BEFSX41). All devices are Linksys. I tried an IP address static and using web installation as well as the Linksys disk. I checked for conflicts of wifi channels.

  When it is connected (for all the 30 + seconds), it works as expected.

  For some reason, it does not return a response from the gateway. Or maybe the answer is not recognized. I've ran out of ideas and will have to return the unit. Recommendations for an alternative?

  The problem seems to be the router (Linksys BEFSX41) I've recently updated my Internet connection which means replace my router/firewall and today I tried the RE1000 without changing the config. Now it does not work as expected. Sorry I can't give a detailed reason, but at least I know what has been the f of the source of the problem.

  I have an iPad 2 air in perfect condition, since it first came out. I have the cell phone/Wifi version with Verizon. My problem has been lately, when connected to wifi, the wifi shuts on the iPad many times when using, and more so at rest.

  Did somebody encounter this problem since upgrading to iOS 10 It is the only variable that has changed, I'm still using the same networks that I have always used for Wifi.

  Follow these steps to find and correct the problem:

  1. you must check your Wi - Fi router: check if other devices can be connected. This will let you know if there is a problem with your Wi - Fi router. You can restart your router and restart the connection to WiFi.

  2. make sure that Wi - Fi on and you can see your network

  3. go to settings on your iPhone > Wi - Fi and check if it is enabled. And if there is a blue check mark next to a network name means that your iPhone or iPad was connected to this network.

  4 restart your iPhone/iPad, router, cable/DSL mode

  5. If this does not help, reset your network. On your iPhone, iPad, got to settings > general > reset > reset network settings. This will reset Wi - Fi networks and passwords, cell parameters and VPN, and APN settings you used before.

  These measures should help.

  I have an iphone brand new 7 (black) who has not seen a bump, the knock, the drop of water, or frankly anything that could damage it - always used with Chargers apple and cables only. The phone started to get hot and the battery percentage began to collapse, down 80% to 0% in about 15 minutes.

  If there is something wrong with the device, Apple should replace it. However, they have the final call, and no one here can say exactly what they will do. Given the age of the unit, I suspect that you won't have problems getting a replacement. They should have stock for replacements. I wouldn't worry.

  I was wondering if anyone else knows issues with WiFi connectivity since the upgrade to Sierra 10.12? I have not had any problems with connectivity WiFi previously on El Capitan. Now I have regular randomly loose connectivity. My internet is cable and when it is connected I have a 100% connection. My details of iMac and I have used only 10% of my storage.
