Reactive blue model report - print number of lines

Hi all

I use a blue reactive model for my report. If I print a report that consists of 95 lines none of the lines of print, but if I print a report that consists of 21 lines, they are all will be printed.

What should I put for the report to print any number of ranks?

I use Apex 4.2

BTW, none of the blue reactive models (without border, Standard and etc) allows me to print a number of lines.

Thank you

Seems to be a bug in IE9. Other browsers (including IE10) are not affected. In a case of IE8 the content of the report disappeared when the tools > Internet Options > advanced > settings > printer > Print background images and colors option has been fixed; in another it made no difference.

Change/upgrade your browser is the obvious way to fix/avoid the problem. Using another theme of the SUMMIT is another option. Theme 25 is relatively new and complicated, and the problem of IE9 may not be triggered by a different theme.

For parts of classic report, the footer region supports the following substitution strings:

#ROWS_FETCHED # indicates the number of lines read by the reporting engine Oracle Application Express (the size of the page). You can use these substitution strings to display messages to the user. For example:

    Read #ROWS_FETCHED # #TIMING # seconds lines.

    * #TOTAL_ROWS # displays the total number of rows that satisfy an SQL query used for a report.

#FIRST_ROW_FETCHED # and #LAST_ROW_FETCHED # show the range of displayed lines. For example:

    Until #FIRST_ROW_FETCHED # by #LAST_ROW_FETCHED # of #ROWS_FETCHED # displayed >

  • Change the number of lines displayed in a report

    Hi guys,.

I have a query that will return 3 rows, so I set the number of lines on the screen of the report attributes for 3 and everything was fine.

I then changed the query to return 4 lines and also changed this attribute to 4, but the report stubbornly refuses to display 4 - only 3 old.

Is there something I missed here?

    See you soon

I find the runtime application logging and lumbering solves this. It does not seem to be cached for your session by default, Yes.

  • How to set the number of lines displayed in a classic report when running?

    Hello

Our client has several hardware configuration standard customer and want to allow end-users to choose their 'view profile' at the time of the connection. This "display profile" would contain some predefined values for these configurations material and supposed to give various parameters that must set the number of lines displayed in a classic regional report.

I tried to provide parameters on the report of the region, but he has refused to accept anything other than numeric values. Is it possible to do?

    Best regards, Tamas

The link is about the closest correlate in the documentation to the description of the attribute Number of Rows (point) .

Looks like you tried to write - in vain - a name string or change of item in the attribute Number of Rows . The attribute Number of Rows (point) is the one that can actually do. For a list of items in the application, click the icon of the flashlight next to her.

    Hello

I have a unique requirement, need to customize the existing cheque print report in the sense that if there are 20 associated check invoice lines, I should only print the first 10 lines in the output and in the 11 th line appears as remaining lines are not printed.and to other lines may not be printed.

The requirement of printing not all lines of line 11 can be done using xml encoding.

  • Problems with sorting of columns and the number of lines in the report

    Hello

I'm having a problem with sorting of columns and the number of lines displayed in a report.

This report displays the data correct, but if I try to sort on a column when I click on the column heading in the report returns no line... I need to click on the "go" button to refresh the report (with the column sorted now) in to display the data.

Similarly, I display only 15 lines per page. If I try to view the lines 16-30, 31-45, etc., that it returns no line until I click on the 'go' button to refresh again.

Has anyone else had (and overcome) the same problem?

    Thank you

    Joseph

    Joseph,

    2 questions:

    1) are you using the elements referenced by the report page to filter etc.. ? If so, you're failing values of these when the loading of the page?
    (2) are you using PPR page through the results?

If so, it could be a problem with the different types of session state, as Anton Nielsen blogged about here:
    http://c2anton.blogspot.com/2008/12/Oracle-Application-Express-Apex-three.html

If so, you can use calculations or processes to set element values in session state persistent during page rendering, as Anton mentions. In this way, when you use PPR page values will be available in session state and your report should work fine.

    Anthony.

  • APEX: Reports printer friendly

    Short version of the question:
How to select items on the page to view a printable version of a page?

    Long version of the question:
By adding ": YES" at the end of a url, I get a printable version of my page generated by the APEX. In most cases, it works well and I made a general link which produces printable versions of each page.

For a specific page, I have a report that shows data of a sql query. It shows a maximum number of lines of 500 and a pagination of 15 lines per page. This works well for normal display, but in the printable version, it displays all the lines of 500. I need the normal display mode to keep its functionality, but the printable version does not show all 500 lines.

acceptable solutions are (preffered solution at the top):
-Display a maximum of 15 lines in print preview mode.
-Disable the printable view of the specific page (turn off the actual functionality. It is not enough to remove the link)
-Hide printable version report (also to hide it from the HTML source code, hide it with the help of the style and such is not enough)
-Disable the print version for the whole application (it is not enough to remove the link). This generates a lot of extra work for us, because the print version is used for many pages.

I currently use APEX 3.0.1 but is planning to upgrade to the latest version.

    937816 wrote:
Thanks, your answers have been useful. Current page is page Printer Friendly Mode-current is NOT in the printer friendly Mode are available in the APEX 3.0.

He did not however solve my problem. My report suffered from diseases: "PL/SQL function body returning a Boolean. I've found no way to add the "current page is NOT in printer friendly Mode".

Incorporate a condition in your function that evaluates the variable print flag of APEX package directly:

    and apex_application.g_printer_friendly

    or

    and not(apex_application.g_printer_friendly)

I tried to look for the following without success:
-A 'Printable Version' variable for "PL/SQL function body returning a Boolean.
-Added more of a 'condition' to a report.
-Put in condition on the page.

The difference between paging through 500 lines 15 at a time and see all the 500 on a print to the is that we don't want users 'normal' to easily copy large amounts of data to the database.

Why these drastic "solutions" are acceptable, it is that we will soon to take a look at the feature print everything. We intend to use a css stylesheet for printing, instead of the functionality of Jonathan.

Except that shows all the lines when you do want. I am interested by this as well...

    Hi Misha,.

3 pages includes number of words to display as a menu item in the view menu:

The County appears at the bottom left of the page and it shows more options when you click on it. Unfortunately, "number of lines" is not included in the available options:

If you had ' 09 Pages on your Mac and did not intentionally removed it when you installed 5 Pages, it will always be there, in a folder named iWork ' 09, in your Applications folder.

Copy your document, open the Pages ' 09 and paste the contents of your document into a word processor new document in Pages ' 09.

Check that the end of the document is delivered on the same page (number) and to the same position on this page as in the original and making small changes at the margin to adjust it if necessary.

Then go to edit > tools > statistics to see this more comprehensive report:

Note that if you need to present the newspaper article in one format other than a file of Pages, the number of rows may change due to changes in the conversion to the new format of formatting.

If you don't have a Pages ' 09, you can get a number of lines using tools > line numbers in OpenOffice or LibreOfficeApache. Both are applications open source, free to download and use (even if you might donate help the future evolution of the demand). The links will take you to their respective Web sites.

Oh... One more thing (as long as Steve jobs used to say sometimes): pages (3), go (menu) Pages > provide pages of comments and make a feature request so that the line count (and line numbering) added the capability of 3 Pages.

  • Printing printer Lexmark 2600 problems - it prints half a line after replacing the color cartridge

It prints half a line, if the top or the bottom of it and the cutting of the other party.  This happens on every third line.

This started happening when I replaced a color cartridge and ran the alignment page.  Before replacing the cartridge, it prints very well (except that the color cartridge started missing).   When I noticed what was going on, I took both cartridges on and then put them back in and had to print the alignment again page.  Yet the problem persists.
I checked the Device Manager, and my drivers are up to date.  I also checked all connections.
    Any suggestions are welcome.

Oh boy.  I don't know what I thought.  It just had to unplugging everything & then reconnect them, turn off & on.  This took care of it - seems so simple now.

I guess it was my new laptop which has the printer all confused.  Win7, my find of CL.

Insofar as the Lexmark support, I have not yet that day.  In any case, it comes to X 2690 model I had for centuries, so I guess that support would be of any help.  I mean, the guarantee missed a long time ago.

  • BI Publisher - how to display the number of lines displayed at the bottom of the table on each page

    Hello

We are the conversion reports Actuate BEEP and not able to understand how to view "Accum.Total = < n >" at the bottom of each page. In the attached report to operate it, "Accum.Total = < n >" must be displayed at the bottom of each page where < n > is the number of lines displayed on the current page and previous page.

For example, if there are 10 rows in the result set, if the 1st page displays 4 rows, 2nd page displays 3 rows and 3rd page is 3 lines and then Accum.Total = 4 on page 1, Accum.Total = 7 on page 2 and Accum.Total = 10 on page 3.

Note that we use the property table "allow the lines to break Pages = False" as we do not want a specific line can be split across pages.

I enclose a sample of report actuate, rtf, BEEP and XML report for testing file.

    Approach used so far-

1 > I tried to put the counter in the footer, but it seems that only the fields that come directly from the IC can be used on the header/footer. No matter what form text field or variables defined in the report.

2 > I used approach given in the link below. Using this approach, I am able to view a coded value hard at the bottom of every page (just below the table) but his does not work for the variable (in my case the counter c1).

This last batch has 4 rows while the claim code to get 5. Therefore, NOTFOUND has the value true and outputs code before dealing with this last batch.     v_txt VARCHAR2 (2000);

    BEGIN

    SELECT XMLTYPE. Extract (value (TT),'/ CommandInformation/Name/Text () '). GETSTRINGVAL()
    IN v_txt
    TABLE (XMLSEQUENCE (l_xml. Extract('/LoggingInformation/CommandInformation'))) tt;

    DBMS_OUTPUT. Put_line (v_txt);

    END;

    Select...

means only 1 row can be returned.

Your select returns more than one line.
Change v_txt in a collection, define a cursor and the extraction of it or change the statement, i.e. it returns a single line.
