  I haven't used Director since MX - it is good to be back.

  A couple of the general question, please:

  • With Repeater indicator Dir12 is now possible to put an image directly on a video sprite reproducing / playing in QT?
  • Is it possible to put videos on top of the other?
  • If possible, is there a significant performance impact on video?
  • QuickTime is always the first choice for HD video playback?

  If I remember correctly all that was possible before, but only if you turned off "directly to the step" option... and used to result in ridiculously bad reading.

  Video capabilities (or lack of it) has been the reason why I've migrated to Flash in the first place. It would be nice to know just uped Dir his game since then.

  D12 brings nothing new. You can use a 1-bit mask to drill a hole in a QT/sprite member and display images through it, but it's that QT. You can also use MIAWs chromeless window to display the video/images.

  Not if you use MIAWs for overlay video/images. Keep layering can become problematic however. Masks come without a drop in performance, although...

  Absolutely not. Video Flash or MP4 is now the best option. No need of a player install, good performance...

  I am trying to create a DLL to perform image processing using OpenCV. In the first place, so I try to create a DLL that can read an image and display it. But I encountered a problem when I call this DLL in LabVIEW.

  The error in LabVIEW that says: "error 1097 appeared to call library function node in the .vi DLL Image playback (Play).

  Possible reasons:

  Here are the steps I followed:

  1. download OpenCV2.4.9 and extract the files. Make changes appropriate to the Environment Variables to include OpenCV.

  2 start a new 2010 Visual Studio from Microsoft Project to create a DLL.

  3. Add a property sheet in the property manager to include the OpenCV library.

  4 change the DLL of playback picture .cpp code (Play) as it is in the attachment.

  5 compile to create the DLL of playback picture .dll (Play) file.

  6 create a LabVIEW VI to call the DLL.

  Attached are the related files: 1 .cpp reading Image DLL (game) 2. Read Image .dll DLL (reading) 3. Read Image .vi DLL (game)

  If someone good to help me with this? I guess it might be the problem with the .cpp code DLL Image playback (Play).

  I just ran this tutorial recently, took a few tries but everything worked according to the instructions in the article. You should check your steps on. set install to the top of the jar, add it to the project lib reference and use "/ adf/images / ' as the value of the icon.   It is a common problem when running the code from ExtendScript Toolkit and working with binary files. I find that CS3 ESTK works better than CS4/5 or 6. The code should run OK to Bridge or Photoshop.

  When I work with binary, I have a copy in Notepad and open the Task Manager so that I can close ESTK when it freezes.

  Hi I have a mix of photos and video clips loaded into my Mac Adobe organizer of the external drive, where they show (on PC) in the correct order as, still images and videos mixed. After loading in the Organizer, and chronology in first 12 items, I select more "old first". But in the timeline, stills appear first in the correct order, then after that video clips, in the correct order in themselves. Is it possible to actually load everything in the right order, IE pictures and videos mixed. Thanks Chris
