  I am unable to give read-only access to a newly created in the Oracle database user. I grant only read permission to the user, but the problem, it's that this user is able to delete data from a table or schema.

  I'm new to APEX. I have a modifiable tabular report (SQL query). When I choose the column (which is a selection list) of a certain value, I want column B to be read-only (depending on the result of an another SQL described below). It doesn't seem to be a READ ONLY section in the type of tabular report where I could put my SQL condition.
  
  In other words, "column B" must be read only based on SQL returning following true or Exists:
  Thus, to determine if column B is ready only, I need the following logic:
  
  SELECT 'x '.
  of tab1
  where key = (value of column A)
  and the flag = "Y".
  
  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  In some versions of Linux, for example. Fedora, Ubuntu... every time I install the Hyperion product, I get this error "you have read-only access to the oracle inventory." and also the interesting thing, if this error comes Oracle does not settle "OpenLDAP' which is required to run shared services.
  
  With Oracle Enterprise Linux, and everything seems fine. and I did not get the above error also OpenLDAP is installed.

  Supported versions of linux, with you have found problems.

  It is possible. Made myself.

  You must use SPEL for this.

  Steps to follow:

  1. the Caisse one type of transitional say as Boolean column ReadOnly

  2 set the Readonly property for that column as ReadOnly

  (Syntax FRO SPEL-> {oa. VO. ReadOnly})

  3 al ' PPR after checking the status, the ReadOnly Anaïs value accordingly.

  Well, it is possible that the BLOB data like this. You should check this by opening the table holding the blob in SQLDeveloper or using the browser of database JDEVs. Select the data tab and double-click a blob cell in the grid.
  So yu should get a pencil that lets you change the blog. Click it and you can see the blob as text or image. You must save the blob on your local disk and then use an editor to look into the file.

  That's what you should get from the show.

• Question on the form of data - implicit sharing

  We have a data form that the user can down to the level 0 in the rows to enter data. The question is for some customers when the user tries to enter data at the client level 0 is not save the number of entry but get substituted automatically with the parent value. If the user has entered in the parent customer was filling too the same value for the client to level 0.
  
  When I checked in the outline... I noticed that they are customers who had only one child, and I guess that this happens because of the property on the part of the implicit. I don't know if there could be another reason to do this. If I am wrong please correct me.
  
  Now, I know that if you change the property of the customer parent to share never, it might solve the problem. But the problem here is - there is a lot of these customers. And each month we receive new clients that could belong to the same case. It would be difficult to go and change the property to share ever for all customers and keep track of it manually. It might be a maintenance problem.
  
  So is there any other solutions? We can sort it solve? Please let me know your suggestions or ideas on what you think would be the best way to resolve this problem.

  You can disable the implicit sharing in the Essbase.cfg
  When you set the parent members and children store, you create blocks more in the database, so use with discretion.

  I would like to implement a mechanism of "read-only conditional" on a column in a table with two tables in total to be involved in this situation.
  
  I have a demo/proof of concept of the present and things work as expected in the tests I've done; However, I would like any input as to if there is a better way, etc.
