  • Nikon D7100, I can't download my RAW to Lightroom files. I have read all the post, update of 3.6 to 4.4 and 5.7 with Lightroom 2015; Nothing helps!

    Nikon D7100, I cannot download my RAW to Lightroom files! I have read all the post and started with Lightroom 3.6 4.4, Lightroom 2015 then Lightroom 5.7 update. Nothing helps!

    The Nikon D7100 is supported from 4.4 LR on-site. So I have no idea why you have problems to import files NAVE of this camera or the card memory used in this device.

    You use the Nikon software first to get images of camera or card to your hard drive? I read somewhere that the Nikon software does something for the NAVE of the files making them unreadable by LR.

  • Pouvez Lightroom 5.7 read raw ARW files generated by Sony A7Rii?

    Pouvez Lightroom 5.7 read raw ARW files generated by Sony A7Rii?

    Hi Robertldoc,

    Lightroom 6.1.1 is the minimum version required to use Sony A7R II (ILÇE 7RM2) camera raw files.

    You can upgrade your version of Lightroom 6 Lightroom or Lightroom CC for the files to be recognized.

    You can also download DNG converter to convert the DNG files, before using it in Lightroom.

    For Windows: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Adobe DNG Converter 9.1.1

    For Mac: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 9.1.1

    I hope this helps.

  • camera raw 7.2 does not settle in CS5.5, but need to read the P7700 nrw files.

    camera raw 7.2 does not settle in CS5.5, but need to read the P7700 nrw files. Not to mention that DNG Converter, what can I do to use the files directly?

    Your next option is upgraded photoshop. If you don't handle the full version (less than $20 / month) you get elements, it uses the latest version of camera raw, but I think it's a lighter version but.

  • I can't read raw files on LR3 for my new canon 5 d Mark iii.

    I just bought a new canon 5 d markiii and when I tried to upload photos in LR3, I can't display them. seems that I need to upgrade or something but I do not know what version or plug or update I have to do to see them. any advice?

    Hi kimeree13,

    Raw files from Canon 5 d mark III would not be supported in Lightroom 3.

    You need at least version 4.1 of Lightroom to access there raw files.

    Here's the reference article: supported by Camera Raw devices

    You can either upgrade the version of Lightroom to a newer version or you can install for free DBG Converter to convert raw to DNG files and access then in Lightroom.

  • Import GIF files

    Having a problem correctly interpret characters file GIF of an instrument. Any ideas on correctly interpret a gif of an instrument. I'm stuck with the format of its supporting the instrument.

    It seems that MS Windows platform, interpretation of GIF characters, such as \s, \0, \FF, text of labview control differs from the Agilent E4404B Spec one. I have no problem pick the file, but the characters are modified (interpreted) whenever I use a labview text box (i.e. a control ascii string, I really need a control character, or some work around).

    Attached, it's a good GIF of the instrument and any bad GIF.

    Someone created a vi called VISA read binary block of data to file to save the GIF file. Here's a modified version, I have use to save a screenshot of an E4440A Analyzer spaectrum.

  • Why my Windows Photo Gallery can't animate GIF files saved?

    I have a lot of saved GIF images which have BEEN lively on the website, saved as gif, but when I opened them, they act like JPEG files. They do not move at all and just stay on the first frame of the animation. On my mums laptop, Windows Photo Gallery DO plays GIF files.

    I use Windows Vista Home Basic, and laptop my mother is simply Windows Vista. I can only see my GIF files using Quicktime Movie Player and I have to Lop each time. Kind of pain when I would rather walk through the collection with the ease of the Windows Photo Gallery.

    Any ideas?

    They must be read in a browser.

  • How can I get Windows 7 to read RAW hard drives without having to format the hard drive due to important work on this subject?

    Original title: the file format of external hard drive is the RAW and not NTFS. How can I get Windows 7 to read RAW hard drives without having to format the hard drive due to important work on this subject?

    I put the hard drive on an XP and Vista machine and can read the hard drive, but not with Windows 7

    Hi Zling,

    It works on other OS? When did you finally read the disc and with what OS? If you can read the drive and make a backup of the data on this subject, I you suggest to backup the data on the drive and then put it in using the NTFS file system.

  • How to get the gif file hosted by using the Http connection?

    Hello

    I have an application that downloads animation gif from a server by using the http connection. Here is the code I use to download the image.

    try {

                httpConnection = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url, Connector.READ_WRITE);            httpConnection.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.GET);

                if (httpConnection.getResponseCode() == HttpConnection.HTTP_OK) {                DataInputStream dS = httpConnection.openDataInputStream();

                    byte[] data = new byte[dS.available()];                dS.read(data);

                    gifImage = (GIFEncodedImage) EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(data, 0,data.length);

                } else {                throw new Exception("ResponseCode:" + httpConnection.getResponseCode());            }        } catch (Exception e) {                        gifImage = null;            e.printStackTrace();        }

    the problem with this code is, when the gif file is 1175 bytes above, it does not load the gif.

    example:-If the gif on the server is 1500 bytes, this code retrieves only 1175 bytes.

    I think that the rest of the bytes are sent in a different package. But how to get them.

    can someone please provide a code for buffering the inputstream?

    any help is appreciated.

    Hmm, nobody seems to know how to do, it seems. Here's how I did it.

                httpConnection = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url, Connector.READ_WRITE);
                httpConnection.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.GET);

                int responseCode = httpConnection.getResponseCode();
                if (responseCode == HttpConnection.HTTP_OK) {
                    inputStream = httpConnection.openInputStream();
                    ByteArrayOutputStream byteArrayOutputStream = new ByteArrayOutputStream();

                    byte[] buffer = new byte[256];
                    int len = 0, imageSize = 0;

                    while (-1 != (len = inputStream.read(buffer))) {
                        byteArrayOutputStream.write(buffer);
                        imageSize += len;
                    }

                    byteArrayOutputStream.flush();
                    byte[] imageData = byteArrayOutputStream.toByteArray();
                    byteArrayOutputStream.close();

                    gifImage = (GIFEncodedImage) EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(imageData, 0, imageSize);

    Concerning

    Cherylynne

    Well, I see two things here: Canon DSLR600D support started in Adobe Camera Raw 6.4.1 that explains why 6.0 does not open it.

    You must install 6.7.1 and no it will not hurt anything.  Download it and let me know if it installs. If it is not the case, remember that CS5 had "guardian" of Mac protection. You will need to disable temporarily.

    Go to Apple System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and set Allow Apps to download from: anywhere.

    Second thing:

    Your Canon Powershot G5X ACR 9.3 disposal. 6.7 the cab does not open it and that's the last ACR CS5 will take.

    Your choice is therefore at this stage to download and use the free DNG Converter to convert the CR2 files to DNG format so 6.7 can read.

    Download here: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 9.3

    Learn how to use the converter DNG here: Camera Raw: how to use Adobe DNG Converter - YouTube

    That's all for now.
