Reader XI several windows

Hello!

I recently updated my software Adobe Acrobat Reader version 11.0.16

Before I could double-click several pdf documents in my files and they would all open in separate, several windows. Without tab, no blocking and no problems just several different windows.

After the upgrade when I double-click a pdf file opens as expected. When I double-click a second pdf in the same or different folder nothing happens. Not even a single one of these "tabs" I read on troubleshooting this.

If it is not longer possible I'll easily use one of the free players to solve this problem but I prefer Adobe Reader could pass as do other readers.

I quess my question is why someone would consider even this in an upgrade?

Many software thanks for another very popular way!

Kind regards

Robin Karlsson

Player 11 is old. The tabs are in the current version, CD player.

In Reader 11, please try this: after the second open seems to fail, look in the window menu (near the right side of the menu in the drive bar). The other name appear? You can switch to him?

During the closure after a browsing session I find several windows behind the window of the main browser I have not opened and they must be closed individually. What is the cause and how can I stop it? Edit

These windows display ads? They could be 'pop-under' designed to show when you are finished with your main window. Orbitz has these, for example. Irritating. I'm not sure of the best solution, i.e., advertising blocker blocker vs.

If they are not ads, can you think anyway that they are related to the sites you visit?

In addition, to close a tab (or window, if there is only one tab), you can press Ctrl + w. could speed up the process of their release until you find a real solution.

  • Is it possible to open several windows in firefox 5.0? I can't do windows quick launch and the right click "open in a new window" does nothing.

Yes, not much more to say. Since I've upgraded to firefox 5.0, I opened several windows. Several tabs to work, but I don't like tabs. Help, please.

See if they work in Mode safe mode, which is very easy to test Firefox 5.

Safe mode: to appear in safe mode, a time when you do not not tick the subjects (they are definitely not safe). Help ('Alt + H") >"restart with disabled modules. If there is no problem then it is almost certainly of an extension.

If it works, try to find the addon (s) causing the problem.

    1. Disable half of the extensions and restart Firefox. At this point, you are no longer using safe and test extensions.
    2. If the problem persists, disable half of the other extensions

If it does not work select last half of people disabled
Then restart. and check again at step 2.

  • My guest user account has stopped working after the installation of several windows and IE9 updates.

I recently installed several windows and IE9 updates. During the install IE9 I stopped the installation process, because it seemed that I had two IE9 installs go. I ended up cancelling the installation so IE9 has not installed. I tried to install IE9 again and this time I can't stop installation, and it has been successful. I checked the other user profiles to make sure that everything has been installed, and that's when I noticed that my guest account wasn't just all users accounts were working well.

Whenever I try to open a program, for example: Internet explore, any Office program and even the calculator another window opens asking me to manually locate the file I'm looking for. I am able to locate the file and open it, but as soon as I close I can't reopen unless I have to manually search for the file. There is a checkbox indicating that it automatically uses this file with the program but I can't check the box (its in a light gray that I can't click on) and I don't want to manually search the file everytime I open a program. I tried using a restore point before updates, but which did not set can guest account everyone please help?

I use a Gateway 510 series computer and has a real problem with the mouse. If I click once, I often bring up several windows. • When I run IE9, trying to open several windows, but never accually do open. No acually Web site is in place.

When I tried to open IE9 several Windows IE tried to launch. More than 2-14 windows all at once. She is never resolved and no window opens in fact. But it tops out at all my memory and locks every thing upwards. Even try to use to close the Task Manager does not always work. The last appearance was I downloaded a zip file to open it in Internet Explorer, and when I clicked it several windows attempted to open at the same time. I did a scan for viruses with Avira and it was clean except for a single file that had a warning could not open. the file is "iw91POnz.exe". and was located in the: C:\users\Rick\AppData\Local\Temp\iw91POnz.exe. (This is defined as a "file ROOM" - size 8.57 MB. No idea where it came from or what it's attached too.) I deleted the my laptop OK boot file and everything seems to work OK.
Any thoughts on this is appreciated.

  • Close several windows in the taskbar?

I understand that you can get an overview of open windows on the taskbar and close a window from the taskbar. But, you can close several windows? For example, let's say I have 6 open IE browser windows. I hover over the IE icon on the taskbar and see the 5 windows in preview mode. Can I select and close 3 of them at the same time, or I have to do it one by one?

    Hi Jeff,

Yes, if you right-click on the icon in the taskbar, for example Internet Explorer, you will see an option "close all windows".  I think it'll do what you're asking here...

In addition, you can hide, or rather, but in the background by clicking on the "Show Desktop" box on the far right of your taskbar.

Please let me know if this helps or you need anything anyone else.

    Best regards!
    Jon

  • keyboard no one and several windows opens automatically

The last few days Ive seen the following problems with my laptop:

    1. on a normal startup

several windows open automatically without prompting to the keyboard. The first window is usually the Help window, and then opens the default browser window as well. 10 - 15windows opens in a duration of one minute and continue until I manually closethem or at the end of the process in the Task Manager.

This experience on the admin user and others

    2. Alternatively on the boot of startup window stops and asked to choose an operating system.  This machine has only win7 on it. no option cannot be selected as keyboard stubbornly inactive you.

    3.

If by chance the machine decides to start, I can not connect to the user, because the keyboard is not responsive

If I get the admin user for which I have no password... anything can be typed keyboard non-responsive rest like a potato.

It seemed that the keyboard was defective, so ive got changed, but the problem persists.

    Help, please.

Of course, it looks like infections are present.

Run ADWcleaner https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/ it's free and one of the only malware cleanup tools that I trust.  Malwarebytes can be used, but be careful to not take the trial or use the pro version.  Virtually all the removal tools known as maleware are in themselves of malware.

If you are unable to get sufficient control, download ADWcleaner into the USB port on another computer.

I assume you mean to Internet Explorer (IE)?  If you are, reset

    Tools, Internet Options, advanced.

Multiple OS question at the start is usually someone re - install Win7, but unless you first delete the existing partition.

Now, this is a controversial subject, but your choice of AV software may be something you want to take a 2nd look.  I suggest you visit this website to get an idea of what AV software made the best work, depending on what type of user you are: http://www.av-comparatives.org/ is a non-profit that has been around for a long time and I hope that their results.

When you interpret these results, remember the difference between a product that detects 95% and the other 99% of infections, it is actually 5 times more likely to allow an infection.

I care about 140 Windows PCs and I have more than 13 years.  Until last September, the only AV software that I would allow my clients to use was Norton Antivirus.  Note that this is not the same as any other product, Norton 360 or Internet Security.

Last September, Symantec (Norton owner) decided to no longer sell such a product.  After much research, I decided on Bitdefender Antivirus 2015 +.  I installed it on more than half of these PC so far and has never been a problem.  In fact, I think it's a better product than even Norton.  One of the things I love the most about it, is the silence and discretion.  It is also cheap.

My customers know that if they install any product of 'Internet Security', I won't work on their computers until it is deleted.  Very well, I learned the hard way that the other components of these products (other than the AV itself) IS caused more problems than any profit that they bring and work primarily by stopping the Windows component that does a very good job of this particular task still.  My problem is that when I started to work on a computer with an IS on it, I could spend hours trying to diagnose the problem, only to find out that by taking the product of the IS, the problems have become much clearer and easier to solve.  I think that the product of the IS actually hides the problem.

As I said.  It is a controversial topic and you will find many different very strong opinions.  I know that mine is based on a fairly large sample over a long period, and are consumers of consumer type Windows.

Another thing you need to know: you can delete not entirely of most any AV software simply by using the standard uninstallation tool Windows 7.  Most of the majors also publishes a "removal tool" that gets the rest.  If you do not completely remove it, it will cause very hard to understand and diagnose problems.

  • several windows that display

With XP I have several windows open on my desk.  Windows 7 closes those previously opened when I opened a new on my browser.  This is my first day with Windows 7.  Help!

    Hello

You upgrade to Windows 7, or you bought a unit with it pre-installed?

What browser version you are using?

Do you have any other toolbars installed?

Are you sure that the windows do not appear in the taskbar?

Restart the computer and start typing the F8 key

Select Mode safe mode with networking

Download the following and run a full scan to exclude the malware

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/PC-Security/Malware-removal.aspx

When you are done, reboot and let Windows load

    Reset the IE browser

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab

    Click on Reset

    Click on apply, Ok

    Reset

    Try to open multiple windows

    Manage multiple windows

All open windows are represented by the taskbar buttons.   If you have several Windows Open (for example, if you open multiple files in a single program or if you open several instances of a program such as a web browser), Windows automatically groups open windows from the same program into a simple task bar, unlabeled button. You can point to a taskbar button to see a thumbnail preview of the windows it represents.
