Reading files from a FTP location based on Timestamp

Hello

I have an obligation to read files from a FTP location. The files must be read in the order that they were saved in the folder. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

Thank you
Ravi

Hello

You can add a "ListSorter" property to the JCA file in your process:

Or,
You can go to EM-> composite-> srvices and references (click your adapter JCA FTP service)-> proprties tab--> Add--> ListSorter...

    See the link, hope it will work.

    It is an old method, using the utl_file_dir parameter that is now obsolete and which is frankly a waste of space when external tables can do exactly the same thing much more easily.

    Do I have to do some settings for the get operation?

    Hello

    Check the file permissions and to test give all reading/writing/execution permissions to the file to read of FTP. Also, check the file modification date.

    Check the logs at 2 places for error messages:
    -Diagnostics of SOA server logs
    -The FTP Server Logs

    You can also activate the level the END of newspapers of the adapter for the cards and see the errors in the diagnostic logs.

  • BB10 - Audio/video in HTML5 - reading file from the file system

    Hello.

    I tried to read a file from the file system on the BB10 Dev Alpha, using the HTML5 video + HTML5 Audio implementation, but it seems to not work for me with the following source code:

    var audio = document.createElement('audio');
    audio.src="/accounts/1000/shared/music/testfile.wav";
    audio.controls = true;

    var video = document.createElement('video');
    video.src="/accounts/1000/shared/videos/testfile.avi";
    video.controls = true;

    Referring to the HTML5 Audio API documentation and Video of HTML5 , I used the example presented here source code, but I still get the following error message:

    Anyone now how to get it working or if it is not yet implemented in the BB10 WebWorks API/framework?

    Well, I believe that what could be the problem.  In order to access to the / shared the location of the folder, your application should allow the permission to do so.  This can be done by adding the following to your config.xml file:

        access_shared

    Next, you need to whitelist the way file:/// by adding an element to access.  I remember that's how its done:

    Note You can whitelist all areas using the following:

    Hope that helps.

  • Reading files from the internet and write them on a computer

    Hello

    I'm working on a program to copy files from a location on the internet to a local file on a computer.
    The file is a .swf file, so I read the data of the file on the internet in a ByteBuffer and then write it to a file on the computer...
    But it does not work... It copies the file, but the .swf run right
    However, when I use essentially the same procedure to copy a file from a local file to a local file on the same computer, it copies very well...
    As far as I know I'm copying the files in these two circumstances the same way, with only a few changes to connect to a URL...

    I can publish the source code in a day or two if it would help to explain better...

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    in. Read (Byte []) is not guaranteed to fill the table. You read in a loop until it returns-1.

    At the very least, check the return value from read() call. If it does not say that you have read the full file, there is your problem. If she says that you have it done read the complete file, then there is another issue that is not immediately obvious to me. I just hooked this one because he jumped in the eyes me like an obvious no-no.

    Why dynamic locations on the server?

    Make a business case that the files must be stored in specific locations.

    Oracle uses directory objects to point to locations on the file system, and while these places may be changed, it is best to implement the specific locations and grant permission to correct for locations users so that there is total control over who accesses what on the server. While the names of files can be dynamic, I wouldn't recommend using dynamic sites.

  • Photoshop Elements 12 cannot read files from Sony A7Mk2 ARW

    Hello

    My Photoshop elements program 12 (v12.1) cannot read riles gross a Sony A7Mk2 ILÇE - 7 M 2.  I've updated to the latest Adobe Camera Raw plugin (8.5.0.236) that apparently supports the raw files of the device, but it does not work.

    The error returned is "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be a model of camera that is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw."

    I tried all the troubleshooting steps on pages using Adobe including uninstalling and reinstalling the software from Adobe.

    One of the possible reasons for the problem: on cameras supported list of page, Camera Raw plugin | Compatible cameras, the A7Mk2 appear amongst the 'Sony ILÇE -has7 M 2 "which seems to be a mistake, as the correct model is 'Sony ILÇE - 7 M 2' (i.e. without 'A'). .

    Very frustrating since I bought items for this purpose!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Given the amount of photos that I take, convert to DNG isn't really a viable option.

    I think that says Sony A7Mk2 ILÇE-7 M 2 (adobe calls Sony ILÇE-A7M2) has at least camera raw 8.7.1, need so you can use the converter 8.8 adobe dng or upgrade to pse 13, that would open these files directly without the need of the dng converter.

    (you need to use help > updates in the PES editor 13 to get the plugin camera raw 8.7.1)

  • Lightroom does not read files from my Nikon D7200

    I bought a new SLR digital of Nikon D7200 and Lightroom and Photoshop does not read the first or jpeg files.  I have no problem with my Nikon D7000 or D3000 DSLR jpeg and raw (nef) files.  Is there a setting that needs to be enabled or disabled?  I can view the D7200 raw and jpeg files in Microsoft photo viewer.

    Sincerely,

    Todd M. Galbrecht

    What version of LR you use. The D7200 to LR CC/6 of the I think 2015.4 (6.4) or higher.

    If you are running an earlier version of LR you can use the 9.5.1 Adobe's DNG Converter to convert the NEF files in the DNG file, and then your old version of LR will import them.

    Can someone help me with this?

    What is your purpose of RT?  The RT Linux have FTP disabled by default for security reasons.  NOR recommend switching to WebDAV.  But you should still be able to install the FTP driver on the RT system if you really want to stay with FTP.

    I can access and download files on the server very well, but I am unable to play DVDs on the PC. There is no problem on the HD media players. It seems that the PC wants to download full movie before playing.

    How can I convince the PC to play files in streaming mode?

  • EOFException when downloading files from the server FTP of Bluetooth

    Hello, I am developing an application that downloads a file from a FTP of Bluetooth server. If I use this code to download a list of files works fine, but if I use the same code to download a real file it doesn't. I tried using plain text, image, video (mp4 and 3gp) and audio with the same result. If I install my app in a Nokia (N95) or a Motorola (K3) works perfectly, but I can't get it to work on my Blackberry 8310
    The problem in the BlackBerry is an EOFException when reading the first byte, no 1 is returned to indicate the end of the file, but an EOFException. BlackBerry Handheld Software (v4.2.2.173)

    And the call:

    InputStream in = getFileInputStream(conn, op, "text.txt", "text/plain");

    The same call that works perfectly for the list of files (in BlackBerry too):

    InputStream in = getFileInputStream(conn, op, "", "x-obex/folder-listing");

    This call produces an xml file which can be read perfectly by any phone.

  • How to create a model to look for an ftp location loading flat files

    Hello world

    My requirement is - I need my model to a ftp location where our files food source are kept and loading every day. Right now my model ODI resembles my odi home default load my files. Can anyone suggest how this is possible. And also how can I customize the loading of flat file in the package (my flat file has a name that has the date of days on that (0628xxx.txt for today and tomorrow 0629xxx.txt).) How can I tell odi to search for files in my parcel today and tomorrow.

    Thanks in advance.

    concerning
    Badin

    Babu,

    The default port for ftp is 21. What is your port?
    You can specify the name of the port next to the server name as in "servername.company.com:27" assuming that your ftp is running on port 27

    You use local or remote agent. It will also make a difference, because maybe remote agent cannot see this IP.
    Another point to consider is that your ftp could be a secure ftp, in this case, you need to use another tool - odiSFtpGet

    Try using the ftp commands in the command prompt Windows.

    Get the means to get the files from the FTP server.
    Put the means you want to place the files on the FTP server.
