  In the script of DOS commands, you would have with a wildcard as mget command:

  How should be done on the implementation of this in OWB? It requires a user-defined substitution varilable any?

  If you are able to achieve your goal of a script of DOS commands, then you can call this script for a user defined, OWB process flow activity.

  1. not the problem only occurs when you save the file in Firefox?
  2. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

  I suggest you try to save the file using Internet Explorer on the desktop and see if it works.

  You can always search within those, but you need to add extensions to the file system so that it knows to look inside these files.  You said that you have a lot, so it's perhaps tedious.  Here's How to search within several types of files.

  One thing you could try is rather to make a copy of this file, rename all the files to the same extension (even an extension false for example something.bill) and perform your search on this band.  Just an idea.

• Number of folders in my files with strange names

  I have installed 11 items, imported images, now have thousands of files with strange names.

  Still for delete.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall items, but the foders were still there.

  How bulk can remove these files, or manually uninstall so that I can remove all items?

  

  I seem to have solved the problem.

  I deleted "My catalog", after making a new catalog (required).

  On importing for the first time, I selected 'images' of file import.

  This time, instead, I chose all files from inside 'images' & the right file names are given, and none of the thousand of false records appear.

  Also may be a factor? I have my mac os x "photos" folder on a 2nd drive internal alias the original position of the OS disk.

• PDF with dynamic name

  Hi all

  I have an old billing software that generate a large number of prints, I would transform these prints in PDF with printer virtual adobe. But I would like the name of the file to be dynamic, something like date + user + counter.pdf. PDFCreator can do this work but recently give me much of a problem.

  Is it possible to make this work with adobe? If so what version I have to buy?

  Hi Luca,

  It is possible to create several files with Action and the file name can be the original file from which it was created. It's something you can do with Acrobat Pro DC application.

  I have my RAW files in a single folder and my derivative images (e.g., PSD, TIFF, JPEG) in another.  The derived files share only the last four digits of the names of RAW files (for example, the RAW file is named 100826 - 14278.CR2 but the JPEG version is only named 4278.JPG).  In addition, the derived files have no metadata.

  Is it possible to use a script to match all derivatives for the last four digits-based RAW files, then change their file names to match the names of RAW.  And, if possible, can bridge waterfall then metadata less camera EXIF data in the RAW files for derived files?

  Copy and paste the script in Extendscript Toolkit
  This utility is located in the proper folder: -.
  PC: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe utility
  MAC: /Applications/Utilities/Adobe utilities

  Start Bridge - Edit - Preferences - Startup Scripts - Click "reveal my Startup Scripts.
  This will open the folder where the script should be saved.
  (It's just a text file with the extension .jsx)
  Close and restart Bridge and accept the new script.

  You will now see a new menu item 'Metadata' select 'Rename and add metadata' in the menu.
  It will now give you the option to select the folder of raw files and the folder of derived files, it then do rename it and add metadata (I hope).

  It may be preferable to set up a couple of test files and see if it works well.

  Hello. I was watching my C drive today and I noticed that a lot of files in C:\. I want to know is what can delete and it will spoil my PC? I am running a Dell Optiplex 755 with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. Here is a screenshot of the C drive. Can I remove eula.1028 - vcredist? I know is not to touch the files. I also have another computer with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - Bit, which has the same question. It will damage anything to remove these files? I tried to run CCleaner and it did nothing for these files. They are just log files?

  Please answer these questions-

  (1) have you installed the updates or programs recently?

  (2) did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  I would like more information about the issue.

  The end user license agreement files are left after you install a program that uses the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package or in Visual Studio.

  It is safe to delete these files.
