  I'm having a problem with my Apple TV after upgrade to TVOS 9.2. Whenever I play video (especially videos YouTube, but this also happens with other applications such as WatchESPN), after a while, the video begins a fall frames and the sound is not synchronized with the video. I can remedy temporarily by force, killing the app or by restarting the Apple TV, but it comes back later and video will get out of sync and drop frames. How to solve this? This came after my update for TV OS 9.2.

  Sounds like a network problem.  Check that you are connected to the correct wireless.  Some routers are dual band, so make sure you're on the 5 GHz band.  If this does not work, I do a full restore back to factory settings and re-setup.  I know it's a giant pain, but if this isn't a connectivity problem, this is a question of OS.

  Hi all

  I just need a suggestion on the media player functionality.

  My requirement is to add the buttons 'Next' and 'Previous' video to my custom player.

  And the name refers, I should read the next and previous links (URL of the http video) in the same drive.

  I have implemented this in an effective way and more. Create the same player again with the next link and call achieve, prefetch and start every time when the user clicks on the next button.

  Can this be improved? Using the same set of player resources but simply by changing the URL?

  I searched a lot but never found a media player, example of code that is able to play 'Next' and 'Previous' video clips (to be stored on the device or on a remote server)

  If someone had such a code, please share.

• Shortcuts to my pictures, my music and my videos is locked?

  These "Access denied" shortcuts appear under Libraries\Documents\My Documents in two administrative accounts on an old computer with Windows SP1, newly installed at home since an OEM Setup disk.  (Usual folders my pictures, my music and my videos also appear directly under Libraries\Pictures, Libraries\Music and Libraries\Videos and * * are available.)  One that is inexplicably locked administrators is C:\Documents and Settings.  These locked folders/shortcuts appear or not hidden files or system files are enabled in Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View tab.  These two seem to be driven by check the box "Refuse" to "the folder list / read data" under Properties/Security/Advanced/permissions/edit the permissions/all the world/change. These locked elements do not, however, appear in a Standard user account or no hidden files or system files are activated.  I have not tinkered with the NTFS permissions on the volume C:\.

  I also have a newer computer, installed in OEM WIndws 7 SP1 which does not show either [correction follows:] locked shortcuts or the C:\Documents and Settings folder.  Although locked shortcuts are probably not a problem, I used to look in the folder C:\Documents and Settings of an administrator account in Windows XP.

  No, those are shortcuts of compatibility.  The 'Documents and Settings' for example, which is not really a folder.  It was at the time of Windows 98, but now it's just 'users' (to make it easier to translate, the shortest path and remove spaces that are annoying when writing scripts and coding).

  But some programs do not have a variable name, they want a real spelled exactly 'Documents and Settings' folder and these bad programs crash if they can't find it.  The same programs usually crash when they ran on a different language of comptuer, because obviously the name of the folder will not be stated this way in another language.

  So for compatibility, a redirection of folder called a junction is placed instead.  You see access denied, but if a program tries to 'write' in this folder, it will be automatically redirected to the proper place.

  You can hide these junctions of compatibility by defining your default folder Options View tab.

• Reading of interlaced scaling BAD video in the preview of files 2015.3

  Hello, working in first Pro 2015.3 blow us up the size of the video to any value, say 110% (to exclude boom to the shot or other).  While we make (in ALL preview format - they all have the same defect).  During playback, we get bands chunky of a coarse comb effect where fields are of course spread over a fast movement.  It looks like old fashioned gross low resolution scaling.  Here is a screenshot of instant pause the playback view, it shows part of the image at 100% is to say 1:1 pixel to the screen:

  

  Then, we step forward (or rear of a framework to get the view full resolution according to the natures/parked frame display.)  Then, the effect of coarse comb went and we see the software displaying a reasonable interpretation:

  

  See how the striping is much better.  That's what you'd naturally expect to see reading all the courses in your sequence of rendering, because you have A) full playback resolution and B) you have actually rendered images for preview files (even choose the preview format that actually matches camera codec) or even a format Prores422 HQ.

  But now in 2015.3 in our normal workflow for many years, we can not be satisfied that our work is acceptable for broadcast because he plays today back this feverish comb coarse, crude effect.  So now we have to discount or ignore what we see and make a movie out and play this movie in reading software (Quicktime Player or MXF reader) just to see if it IS OK.  This means that any work of self-QC in first became useless.  This also means that we can make our work for customer insight and look with the first client.

  WHAT CAN WE DO?

  NOTE, HOWEVER, if we don't make a preview of a file and so native playback (DALYS-100) with yellow bars on top, it's all THE FINE - no gross comb effect - that is, it is exactly the same as the frame step full resolution/render!

  How can this be?  How can we better than quality render rendered Max reading UN-rendered file?

  We have even exported and then imported a rendered movie file and same that reads with the same effect of coarse comb despite this new film now playing at the 100% level.  While any player left 3rd he plays well - that you expect it to be.

  This machine is a MacPro 24-core OS 10.9.5 with an ATI Radeon HD of Mo 5770 1024 card.

  Exactly the same problem that happens on our other new 6-core MacPro with graphic AMD over-pants 500 3072 MB on El Capitan card (these are the guys that started with this complaint, that they cannot trust their work).  Of course after color correction, effects and subtitles, most of our sequences MUST be made... until we need to do?

  Some have reverted back to 2015.2 where it is is not a problem.

  I think that one of our in-house editors found a work around for this bug. Try adding a layer of setting on the video that is resized. This seems to fix deinterlacing problems when scaling of images.

  See where it says, "Full"? Change this to 1/4 or more, and your reading will be smoother. In this case it is due to your footage. She is too demanding for the computer you are using.

  Change this to 1/4 your problems of two, or just one?

  If you are still having your second question, I have to find which video camera you used to shoot your video. Or did you use a webcam or a mobile phone to film the video? The answer to this question may hold the answer to your second question should you be that persist.

• How can I change the speed of a video clip after which makes a smart object?

  In order to apply the same Camera Raw filter for each segment of a clip that I was going to split several times, I have converted the full clip to a smart object, applied my settings Camera Raw filter and then split the clip and remove parts.  Now, I want to do some parts of these clips slowed, but even if I right click on the right side of the layer and select 'Clear Smart Filters', all I see when I right click on the item in the Assembly are query options; I can change is no longer the speed or the audio.  Is it possible to do without having to make all cuts at first, change the speed and audio and then having to go back and convert each individual segment in a smart object and then apply the same filter of ACR for each of them?

  Once you have converted a video clip to a smart object, it is more technically a video clip. All dynamic objects are treated equally, regardless of their content. So, just as you cannot change the read speed of a smart object non-video, you can do it for a dynamic object that contains the video. But if you double-click the thumbnail to a smart object layer, you open the embedded file and you can apply settings to this file-centric video.

• Reading fades in and out of poor quality

  So I'm on a MacbookPro, 4 GB of Ram, running Mac OS x 10.6.6 with first Pro 5 and my reading doing this weird thing where the quality snaps in and out. It'll look exactly as it should, then the image type of split into layers. The top layer moves diagonally in worse and worse quality then snaps back to normal quality for a moment. The lower layer is simply poor quality. These aren't real layers, just trying to describe this problem very strange as best as I can.

  Any info on how I could solve this problem would be greatly appreciated and more info if you need will be willingly given.

  The value of reading full resolution; looks like the split caused by playback H.264 resolution of 1/2 or lower. Note that this will require more computer and will result probably of video frames and unmovable stuttering.

• Playback on YouTube and other video players controls are tiny

  I am running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 (high resolution). I think that it's originally the play/pause, volume, full screen, buttons etc. in YouTube and other video streaming of players to be really too small.

  In addition, Flash games only filling in the upper left corner of the area that they should. Sometimes, this can be corrected by right-clicking and clicking on zoom, but this option is not always there, and YouTube does not have this option, either.

  I read something on the Internet about disabling HiDPI in the comments: page config to fix this, but this option seems to have been deleted.

  I do not know what is causing your Chrome or IE falls down, but you can give a Firefox. I'll give you a few different things you need to do before installing Firefox to make sure that your computer works well if.

  Install all Windows updates. Check several times until there is no more.

• Problem with youtube and other video sites

  I have a problem with youtube and other video sites:

  Everything is up-to-date (flash, FF, my plug ins.) but I get crashes when loading the video. I can hear the sound but I see only the first frame of the video.

  I've reinstalled flash/firefox or tried updating them again for about 4 times now and my cookies/cache has also been errased which i usually don't do. If i enter FF's safe mode it also freezes.
  

  I hope someone can help, I looked for answers on google before and I tried everything I saw, but it did not help.

  I had the same problem, I uninstalled the plugin Flash player (Adobe Flash Player 11.0.1 152) and the problem is solved. I installed the plug-in again and the problem came back. So right now I have no flas Player liked-in, but I don't have too much problem. I hope that I will not find another problem, but it seems that everything is OK.
