Reassign the Admin rights to an administrator

I am the UX Designer lead for my business and set up our creative cloud using my e-mail account. I'm leaving the company and reallocate rights admin to administrators, but I don't see where I can do it in the interface 'manage your team '. Can someone provide feedback on how I can remove my email address for the account and assign admin rights to an administrator?

Hi Leslie,.

I checked your account details.

The main admin on the team cannot be changed.

However, you can add a secondary administrator for the account in accordance with the help document below:

Manage your creative cloud to the membership of the teams

Kind regards

I think you're GROUND (so outtat chance).

Generally, you can press F8 or F10 to choose what you want to boot from.  Depends on your system and the manufacturer.  If you can press F10 and select the CD/DVD drive, it should start.  Either that or get into the BIOS and make the CD/DVD the first boot device.

She still does not start, if the CD is good.

I hope this helps and good luck

  • Run the application with the admin rights

    Hello

I am a network administrator and I have problems with an external application. While running the application does not require local administrator rights, the software does an automatic updates check when it is launched. There are updates once a week. If the application is launched without administrator rights, the software does not check. Our users do not have local administrator rights. The result is that the application gets overwhelmed and an administrator needs to log in order to to refresh.

Here are the solutions I've tried so far:

    1. I ran the application using the command runas , which works, but is not practical as an administrator will have to provide the password every time.

    2. change the compatibility of the application to 'RUN as administrator'. I have disabled UAC to make this work, but the user must always supply a password. I could create a locked user who cannot log on to any machine, etc, etc, but this seems like a stupid solution. I might as well give all admin rights.

3 to research more, I tried to use RunAsSpc (http://www.robotronic.de/runasspcEn.html). This seems to work well and did exactly what I'm looking for, but created two issues: no drives mapped and an access violation when printing that I won't have to worry about troubleshooting.

I had to give all users local administrator rights until I have a solution. Is it possible to allow the application to do its updates without granting full administrator rights to the entire system? Any recommendations?

Yes, let the program provider to build their program cleverly.  It is not going to be a solution to this.

Otherwise, you will need to just have someone who has admin rights not login once a week and install the necessary updates.  A bit like Microsoft Office Update (requires an administrator to do so).

  • Directions to the win XP home ADMIN rights.

Hi I'm Davie. I reinstalled win XP home on a friend's computer, everything is good, except when I try to install the dongle of vodaphone, right ADMIN denied? I can't seem to find the right ADMIN option, can help to aneyone.

The first step is to determine if you really have the Admin rights or not.  The quick test is to right click on the button 'start '. If one of the choices in the pop-up window is "Open All Users", then you have the Admin rights.

If you don't have administrator rights, you must log in as administrator.  On the screen, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice and enter in the user name box and the administrator password in the administrator password box.  If you have not assigned a password, then leave the password empty.

If you don't have administrator rights, then the problem is most likely a problem of access to a particular directory or registry entry.  Because this could be almost anything, you should probably contact the manufacturer of your dongle and work the problem with them.

  • If you run the program Setup 'Run as Administrator', executable runs with high fees?

    Hello

Installer of LV chose "run the executable at the end of installation.
If you run the installation program "Run as Administrator", the executable runs with high fees?

    Best regards

My apologies - configure when the installer to "run the executable at end of installation", it will run this executable with the admin rights because the installation program itself requires administrator rights.

LabVIEW installation program can create registry keys for you.

For your more advanced customization (e.g. selection modules), you have to look different (e.g. InnoSetup) using a solution of installation or you would need to write an executable in LabVIEW that you run after installation that allows you to select the Setup programs you want and run them using System Exec.

  • Cannot create or delete applications Essbase with the Admin user.

    Hello

I'm running Essbase in version 11.1.2.3.505. For some reason, I can't create or delete applications in Essbase using the native admin account. I suspect it may be due to the fact that I wore recently users another environment via LCM HSS & that the roles were somewhat detached/altered in the HSS database. I checked that the commissioning for the admin user has full administrator for the Cluster Essbase HSS rights. The ID works very well elsewhere in the suite of the EMP, workspace, planning, etc. But the option to create or delete applications are greyed out. I have a workaround, where I can use a user newly created/configured to handle these tasks. I'm not sure how LCM would allow the superposition of the admin account properties in the HSS schema.

FYI - check the table CSS_USERS, the creation date is the date of construction original (as well as all other indigenous users) - so I don't think it's relevant. I guess the problem would lie in CSS_PROVISIONING_INFO, CSS_ROLES, or a similar place. After opening a SR with Oracle, they recommended that I restore the entire schema I quickly rejected. He is not a danger, because I use the workaround. But it would be nice to have an overview of the pros on what is happening / what has happened.

    Thank you

    Mike

Wow, that's weird.  What do you see on the side of Essbase (rather than look at Shared Services) If you "appear privilege user xxxx;" in MaxL?

  • Unable to gain admin rights and cannot do a restore

I've lost my admin to the standard rights. I tried to restore the computer in safe mode. I can't do anything at all because he says that I don't have the admin rights and communicate with my admin due to group policy. I was looking for things to the top and it doesn't let me do anything group policy and admin rights are gone. Also it does not let me start repair system or restore on a windows CD. This is to try to use the right windows installation cd. Any help will be appreciated. I thought to do a repair or restore I only need a windows installation cd and it does not matter what version it was.

Each installation of Windows has an active admin account at the beginning. You can't avoid it. What happened to yours?

You can easily run system restore using system repair your CD to start the machine in Repair Mode. No password is required.

When you're done, plan ahead a little and create, test and document a spare, even admin account that you have a spare House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.

  • RH8 can be installed by the admin using his own account?

Excuse this basic yes/no question, I couldn't find info on RH8. In versions, it was once recommended to install RoboHelp using the account of the USER who would later use the program (not the admin). To do this, the admin rights should be attributed to the user during installation, and again subsequently removed.

This procedure is still required for RH8 or RoboHelp can now be installed by admin using his own account?

The options are the user account with admin rights attached or the account admin who will have these rights by default.

See www.grainge.org for creating tips and RoboHelp

  • I have to become the administrator, BUT I install as someone else with Admin rights

Y at - he an Admin account 'secret' that I don't see that I can become/use?

No, I'm not being funny.  If I use my admin account, I will be always challenged to confirm some tasks such as facilities.  The dialog box that appears does not have a password that I'm already in the account, but it makes me just confirm with an OK button.  I could reduce the frequency of these confirmations by reducing the intensity of the UAC in order the user account settings control panel, user accounts, change, but it doesn't bother me if I leave UAC to the maximum power.  Of Oberwald explanation & WARNING [below] are correct - leaving UAC high helps inhibit malware.

What what happens or something else?

I don't know where you can get more details using Windows [accounts] otherwise than by searching this forum for the admin facilities, UAC, but there would be so many results you'd be overwhelmed.  You can try www.sevenforums.com

How can I use the saver of current (V6.00.04) with a user without administrator rights (Windows XP) account? When I login as a 'normal' user icon of the lamp is not in the system tray. When I try to start the manual I get the error message that I don't have the necessary access rights.

Unfortunately, don t think it is possible.
The energy saver uses several files that requires admin rights for the properly and successfully the feature.

  • How can I get back Admin rights no one has them on the computer?

How can I get back Admin rights no one has them on the computer

IIRC, you cannot delete the built-in account named 'Administrator', so check first to see if it's really over:

If you have XP Pro, then press CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice at the Welcome screen

If you have XP Home (or XP Pro), restart mode without fail (repeatedly press F8 startup just after reboot) and the administrator account must be indicated on the Welcome screen.

Unless you have changed it, the password for the built-in Administrator account is blank (no password).

Once you sign in as an administrator, go to control panel > users and create a new account with administrative privileges (or give these rights to an account existing).  Do not use the built-in for common daily tasks administrator account.

It's one of those 'things' in Microsoft operting systems.

When you want to run sfc/scannow now, you need to run in "elevated command prompt."

    Follow these steps:

Start button > in the search box, type cmd > turn worms at the top on the left, right-click on cmd.exe > click on Run As Administrator > now that you're in "elevated command prompt" > at the flashing prompt enter sfc/scannow > enter key.
