Hello

  • What changes were made before this problem?
  • You have external devices other than the keyboard and mouse connected to your computer?

Try to remove all external devices and then try to start the computer.

You can also try to run the disk check and check if there are bad sectors that prevents you to boot from dekstop.

Run the disk check Windows recovery environment to correct the bad sector on your hard drive

(a) Insert Vista DVD and boot from the DVD.

(b) that you want to start the computer from the Windows Vista DVD, you press a key, your keyboard when you see the prompt. You should now see a black screen with a white status bar at the bottom indicating that Windows is loading files... After some time, the status bar becomes completely white and you will see a screen indicating that Windows is loading. The environment of the installation of Windows continues to load and when finished you will be presented with a screen that prompts you for information about your location and language.

(c) in this screen, you must configure the language to install, time and currency format and keyboard or options for method of entry so that they are well positioned. When done, press the next button. You will now be at the main Windows Vista Setup screen where you would normally install Vista on a computer.

(d) because we want to repair the computer, you must click on repair your computer option. This will bring you to a new screen where the repair process get all facilities of Windows Vista on your computer. When finished, you will be presented with the System Recovery Options dialog box

(e) select the Vista installation you want to repair

(f) in the system recovery options, select command line and enter the command chkdsk/r.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

For years, Toshiba and many other laptop manufacturers offer laptops without disk installation, but original recovery image is saved on the HARD drive, so if everything is OK you can start installation of recovery of the HARD disk image or create a recovery media that you can use for installing the OS.

  • I continued to have this message flashing on the screen "ERROR of LOADING of THE OPERATING SYSTEM" after the restart when loading the software Window XP.

    Original title: someone help please?

Working on my old computer, a pentium 4, card mother GA81PE1000, I continued to have this message flashing on the screen "ERROR of LOADING of THE OPERATING SYSTEM" after the restart when loading the software Window XP. After so many years, working on the construction of computer & repair, it's new to me.

So I checked the Microsoft Website for answers from people with the same problem in the past and apply their suggestions, nothing works... hard drive replaced, the changed value in the bios, did everything possible, still nothing works, phenomenal for me, please help me find an answer, thank you?

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
2 - what you want to say that you receive this error message during the installation of Windows XP?

Check to see if the following is useful.

Method 1: Disconnect all devices non-essential connected to the computer and restart. Check to see if it boots normally.

Method 2: You may need to check the settings of the BIOS (Basic Input\Output System). Check if the hard drive is detected. If this is not the case, check the physical connections. Refer to the manual to check the same.

    Warning of the BIOS:

BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • Does restart/reboot the computer after installing or uninstalling a program?

Original title: does restart/reboot the computer after installing or uninstalling a program? Which option is it on Vista? Hit reboot? Or off, wait and then start up?

I was told that if you add or remove a prgram, after it installs you need to 'reboot '.

    Is this true?

Does this mean that, after the program is installed, you must reach the restart button? Or press 'stop' and then again wait a minute and then be able to save the PC?

    Hello

Often an installation or uninstallation of will need to reboot to complete and it never hurts except for the
    time it takes.

    A reboot is usually sufficient.

  • mouse and keyboard will not wake up system after long wait period

Maybe someone can help push hard at this one.  I can't wake up the system after long time.  I tried to change the settings - to no savings at various times to save energy.

I suspect that there may be a registry problem.

I'm under System 7 on a HP Pavillion dual processor unit.  I tried to use cache cleaners, optimizers, but failed.  Every morning when I wake up the machine he is frozen about half the time.  I have to turn off (using the power button) and it will run fine all day.

I also thought that maybe it's enough food, but the only add on I installed a video card.

    Other devices in use:

    • Logitech Webcam
    • Printer series
    • Ethernet connection to a router

I would be very interested in hearing ideas that I could try.

  • Win 7. I'm faced with a problem that is when I'm with system after that somw time system stops unexpectedly.

I have Win 7. I'm faced with a problem that is when I'm with system after that somw time system stops unexpectedly. What can I do?

If the system stops just without error message, the most likely cause is a CPU overheating. Thermal sensor of the card from the mother to the title of the CPU stops the system to protect the CPU.

Check that the CPU fan is running and remove any fan of mast betwenn the CPU of dust and the fins of the cooler.

  • Install the operating system after replacing the corrupted hard drive Asus q500a

The hard drive on my Asus Q500a is bad (he had checked the repairman). They told me that I could replace it (it will just keep failing until at last it dies just) but I have to re - install the operating system. • DreamSpark system after completing a school

Hi all, I have a question what will happen with my system I downloaded during school time of the spark of dream. It will not work when I finish school? What happens on this time? Can I use my operating system after this time normally?

You can continue to use it even when you graduate. But if you were to format and need to reinstall the software and that you don't have the product key, you will not be able to use it more or recover the key.

    Then follow these steps:

-Have a back-up copy the installation files.

-Most importantly, have a backup of the key product that you can use to reinstall the software and start it again by phone if necessary.

  • myRIO time restores default of the ignition system after reboot

    Hello guys,.

    I have the following problem.
I measure the tension on each analogue input. The measurement starts after starting the appliance myRIO, while time system of myRIO device resets the time default system. But the measures are useless without a good timestomp, containing real time (day, month, yearh, hour, minutes, seconds).
Is there a possibility for the device myRIO start with real time, or that unit myRIO has time while turned off. (perhaps someone knows the external devices which can be connected to the USB myRIO to get real time)

    Greetings from the Germany

    Dimasaur

The myRIO has not shipped for the real time clock battery, so the time will be reset with each power on.

You can set the date and time on the myRIO using screws on the target System Configuration, so all you need to do is to find somewhere that timestamp and assign once myRIO Boote.

    Here are a few options:

-If you have a HOST VI connected, send the timestamp for the myRIO from your PC

-External battery series/I2C/SPI supported RTC chip/module that you can connect to the myRIO. There is an example here.

-A GPS module provides a very accurate timestamp as part of its NMEA data - could you one until the myRIO e.g. via Serial hook

-The information of the network timestamp (for example a time server SNTP or by making an HTTP request - the timestamp is usually returned in the header information by the server or you might find a web service that provides information 'current time')
