  • Thunderbird will not send any emails... but claims that they are "sent" (no error message)

Until early this month my Thunderbird worked very well with my roadrunner email address. I have not downloaded any new software or made any changes to my settings during this period. Now I can send is more emails (even though it claims that they are sent), and I never get an error message. I am definitely in online mode, can receive all messages very well and can send messages from my server fine road via webmail runner. I checked to ensure that no firewall or antivirus is blocking my outgoing messages and that the SMTP protocol is correct. Help, please!

Did you ask Road Runner why your sent emails do not leave their server?

Thunderbird, says 'send successfully' when it get an acknowledgement from the server that the mail has been received ok for the transmission. Your only option is therefore asking for RoadRunner.

I had problems with the Internet. After many trials and tribulations, I was able to come back.

I received three calls from someone who told me that microsoft has noticed activity too in my computer about this issue.it asked this company to fix the problem. They tell me that it's a company that has been commissioned by Microsoft to do the job.

They called me three times. The first time, they tell me that they are based in California. The second time the same person recalls. Today, some calls from New York. WHST is happening?

    Phishng scam!

Never let anything called 'Microsoft Tech' to connect to your computer.
    Microsoft does NOT make that.

    FYI...
Currently, Microsoft only provides a support Forum to help customers.
There is no 'live', e-mail, 'phone' remote, or paid a pension available.
The only support is here on this Forum, nobody can help.

  • McAfee tells me that they are unable to support Firefox 25.0. What can I dowgrade to 24.0?

I noticed a warning on my Extensions of Firefox screen who advised "McAfee SiteAdviser 2.8 invalid due to stability or security problems". After conferring with McAfee, I told myself that they do not currently support Firefox 25.0 and it would be better if I go down to the cover of version 24.0 or an earlier version to keep McAfee. I can do this, or is there another solution?
My PC is running Windows XP.

No, you should stay on Firefox 25. SiteAdvisor has literally does nothing to increase your safety, but by using an older version of Firefox leave you horribly insecure. McAfee updates SiteAdvisor anyday now if you really want to use it
