So far I have not found any position of forum for Windows Live Mail or Windows Live Essentials, so I would appreciate greatly any redirect that no care to offer. Now that Outlook Express is gone and my MS Office does not have Outlook, I would like to Explorer Windows Live Mail. Everything I have read about this does not explain where WLM. If it resides on my system, then all is good. However, it seems to be a cloud based system. The cloud concerns me. Currently I use Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo Mail for personal mail, insensitive, but every time you start a trove of pirate of the sensitive data media makes difficult hot in the cloud so sensitive. If anyone know if WLM is base of the clouds? All of the comments, that everything would care to share will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.

  • Windows mail (Vista) for issue of Windows live mail (Windows 7)?

I have windows on my old computer (Vista) mail and windows live mail on my new laptop (Windows 7).  Is it possible to keep my current e-mail address and use windows live mail to send and receive e-mails?

Yes, but if you want two machines to receive the messages, and then on the two machines, go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced (where it is in WinMail and I think it's similar to WLM) and mark the option leave a copy of messages on the server.  In this way the two machines will bring them.  Then on one machine set to delete after a few days, so that they do not obstruct the mailbox on the server.  You can get help for WLM: www.windowslivehelp.com
