Received phone call scam

original title: invasion

Today, I got a call from phone of someone who said they were from Microsoft. They explained that they knew my PC had a few problems with virus and asked me to go through some formalities. I began, then became suspicious when I asked if they could give me an identification. More than two people came to try to persuade me to continue the program, they have tried with the first caller.

I refused, asked their names and company they also represented, I said I was recording the call via the habit (a white lie) and then he hung up.

I've composed 1471 and the number, they called a 02012574201 I guess it is a scam and warns other PC users to take note

You are right.

It's another scam.

Thanks for posting this information.

See you soon.

I continue to receive phone calls daily from the apparent 'technical Microsoft LCC online' they say mistakes keep produce and seem very determined to get in touch, but I'm suspicious because I don't know how they got my phone number and they will not stop me. Knows one of them? It's a legitimate support service or they're trying to scam me?

It's a scam and with various names and phone numbers, is
    becomes more common lately.

In addition to their money get on your part to do anything of any value,
If you leave them in your computer, which knows what losses they did are
    where confidential information they stole.

So if you have done so, I highly recommend that you do both of the following
    immediately:

1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.
    2. change all of your passwords, especially banks or other
    financial sites.

  • Cannot make or receive phone calls after the upgrade to iOS 9.2

Last night, I could make and receive phone calls. This morning I upgraded to iOS 9.1 to 9.2, and now I can't make or receive calls.

Any call I make - other iPhones, to landlines, whether on my list of Favorites or not - says 'call X... '. "(where X is the name of the contact - X is omitted if I don't dial a contact). After a few seconds, the phone says "Call ended." and I get three quick tones.

When they call me, it goes to voicemail once they hear 1 or 2 rings. I don't hear anything. The call does not appear in the 'recent' folder, but I received a voice message.

I don't have to "do not disturb" lit.

My iPhone is a 4 s, which can be a key because my wife has a 5. She has just upgraded and has no problem with calls. We are both on the Sprint network, using 'Ting' which is a dealer - so our actual provider's Ting. My phone says "Version 9.2 (13 c 75)", carrier "Sprint 23.0" and model MD377LL/A."

I turned the phone on and off several times, and also to do a reset (now hold both power and home until the apple logo appears). neither helped. I double-clicked the original key and removed the phone application and all other applications, then restarted the phone application, which also helped.

    WiFi works.

A related issue is to: IOS 9.2 update .

    OK, now it works.

I think that what I had was specific to my carrier - as well as anyone with this problem likely needs to communicate with their provider!

For Ting (Sprint), here's what I had to do:

    1. to connect to a Wi - Fi network

    2. dial # 873283 #.

    3. press the call key

    4. press "Start Service Update" and wait a minute or two.

    5. press on "Full Service Update" and wait a minute or two for the phone to reconnect to the Sprint network.

    6. once the upper line shows that Sprint is connected, I could make and receive phone calls.

    Hello

You can make and receive calls using Windows 7, since it is compatible with the hardware and software used by most Internet calls services calling.

  • BlackBerry tour 9630 smartphones not send or receive phone calls

I can send and received messages but I can not send or receive phone calls.  I noticed in the upper right of the screen there is something that looks like a golf tee and adjacent is the word OFF

I was not able to use the phone for a few days because I lost the charger - I have the charger and the phone is now fully charged.

Your radio signal, the signal that carries the voice on your phone to your carrier's cell towers, stops.  This is why you cannot place all calls.

On your home screen, click on manage the connections and make sure that the Mobile network is checked.

    Problem solved!

Not sure what they could have done while they had remotely
access. That's why I strongly recommend you do both of the
    immediately following:

    1. change all your passwords, mostly all banks or any other
    financial institutions.

    2 reinstall Windows properly.
