• Expansion of the title in the timeline change display of the program to two small windows with timecode

  I have a title that I have used in other sequences that change now the program window for two smaller screens with time code on them. It cannot be cancelled and reset the workspace does not return to the default appearance. You get a program does not if you try to X in the program.

• Grouping of two small objects done overall size change (huge) in the Info palette

  I have a logo that I am grouping two small items. When separated, the piece of text is about 2inches wide and the mark above is approximately 1 inch wide. However, if these two group objects, the size appearing in the palette of information or the transform palette says that the group object is 227.5417inches. Is - somewhat weird glitch in Illustrator? On different sets of objects I group.

  Looks like you have a Guide that is included in one of the groups. Delete it and try again.

• Switch between the two alternative provisions (both in portrait mode)

  I have created two alternative facilities for the purpose of these two being in portrait orientation, as they are to view the same article in two different languages. Is there a way to switch between the two using the navto: / / action or by using bookmarks and by using the go to destination. I tried both but I was wondering if there was something there.

  I have a publication ideally appearing in both languages, though being a main language and the seconary being there only for reference. I'm not wanting to produce two folios and use the filter region with Apple, as have the secondary language, as a reference is a selling point for the publication. Also using"States" would be more complicated.

  He must choose between non-ideal solutions, as a magical sticky toggle 'use this language' is not available.

  If you do mind ' t using the rocker on each page, then navto would be OK. and each page of the reference language should have a back button go. All reference pages that can be marketed after the main pages, and each of them can be hidden from OCD.

  If you opt for parity between languages, then you could start the app with no menu-swipable selection page, where you can decide what language to use. At the end of these two sections, another non-swipable page would give you the choice to read another language. The trick of no-swipable page gives users a feeling of an application of the only language of his choice.

  And I would use diapers, not another layout for the production. Seems to be a cleaner solution for me.

• Switch between the two button symbols

  I'm new to AS, but not new to programming.  I'm using Flash CS4.  Here's what I'm trying to do.

  I have two button symbols, PlayBTN and PauseBTN. They are used to control the playback of the slideshow. When I use one or the other to control the slide show, it works. However, what I want to do is to switch between the two buttons, so that they work together like this:

  1. If the slide show is playing, PauseBTN is visible. If PauseBTN is clicked, stops slideshow and PlayBTN becomes visible.

  2. If the slideshow is paused, PlayBTN is visible. If PlayBTN is clicked, stops slideshow and PauseBTN becomes visible.

  In other words, clicking on the button control not only the slideshow, but changes which button is visible.

  I got this working with a video clip of two frames and bitmaps in static, but when I swap the bitmaps for the buttons, rollovers button stop working.

  Can someone give me some advice please?

  This is not a flexible configuration.  PauseBtn should be a movieclip with a up more and eventually to the bottom of chassis and PlayBtn either a movieclip with a up more and eventually to the bottom of the frame.  You can then use:

  PauseBtn._visible = true;  or false ot visible property of your control button.

• Two small buttons on the side of the switch just stop working - Tecra M5

  I had this problem before too many and I was told that the way to resolve the issue was a recovery CD, which means losing all my DATA and blabla... The problem is that the two very small buttons on the side of the switch just stop working.

  Just as that. They are always connected as when the laptop is on in standby or hibernation mode if you click on them it restart the machine. We tried something with Toshiba technician before and also their repair without success Center (change the purpose of the button, reinstall the program etc...) The only remedy was still a lot of recovery CD and a replacement of the machine, thank you for that. The sentence is still started. It could be a problem as cookies, just a wild guess or anything else.

  Now, nobody knows how to solve this problem, or had the same problem?

  You talk about the presentation of Toshiba and Toshiba Assist buttons. Am I wrong?
  It seems that there might be corrupted registry keys or the common modules stopped working.
  Why? I put t know but perhaps I got a solution
  Try reinstalling the common modules.
  First remove it from the Add & Remove programs. Then restart the laptop and install the downloaded again common modules.

• Recently switched from PC to Mac. I have the CD for the CS6 Adobe Creative Suite for Mac and PC. How can I get the serial number of the CD Mac OS with no disk drive?

  Recently, I switched from PC to Mac. On my PC, I got the Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Premium (academic edition) CS6. I bought the product through my school and have two installation CD, for Windows and Mac.

  I try now to download this product on my new Macbook, but do not have a hard drive. When I check my saved items, it says that I have the Creative Suite CS6, but under the platform, he said "Winner" and serial number is for Windows product. Of course, this won't work for my Mac OS.

  So my question is, how do I get the serial number of the installation CD Mac OS with no disk drive? I guess that the numbers are different because when I put the Windows product number in the install window on my Mac, it does not work.

• Two part question about multicam sync and placement

  Hello.  I am a newbie to FCP, and I have a few questions.

  1. I have two camera angles and I was wondering if I can sync the audio manually (to exactly match the Visual part), because the automatic method using FCP is an a little off.

  2. question 2 - when I read the camera angles in the window, they are placed vertically.  Is there a way I can place them horizontally rather than vertically?  And a camera angle may be greater in size than the other, instead of being 50-50, it can be 70/30, for example?

• Small questions about Dataguard

  I have a few questions about Dataguard. I'm new to DG, carry me so for the display of these fundamental questions:

  We plan to install Oracle 12 c to Win 2012 R2 with primary and physical intelligence on different physical servers. We are looking for HA solution, but cannot afford to license CARS. The two primary & Eve are going to be in the same data center connected via a 1 gigabit network. So I have a few questions related to it.

  (a) since both of our primary & Eve is going to be in the same data center with good connectivity. Can I assume that although Data guard is more DR solution, in our case it would be HA solution since we have no network latency.

  (b) is it safe to assume that where primary fails, then the day before can automatically take the role of primary education without any manual intervention, possibly using Dataguard broker?

  (c) so I understand that where primary breaks down, the existing connections transfer automatically from primary to standby db (most recent primary), but how my web based java application will know that more recent connections must be sent to the standby db Server (more recent primary)? I guess net Oracle has a provision to handle this? Who can be automated?

  (d) given that I have only 2 physical servers, can I deploy broker Dataguard on a normal PC (since it is a thin client) assuming the PC is kept in the data center and is online 24/7?

  (e) I was reading about the modes of Protection, account required to our current situation & infrastructure, I choose 'Maximum availability Mode' instead of 'maximum Performance '.

  (f) what is your point of view about Oracle integrated security? I hear too much on Oracle failsafe, because people generally go to a combination of CARS & dataguard for HA? We have a few additional storage that can be shared between the two servers, but I feel with literally no DG network latency can provide us HA.

  Well it will not provide the level of HA that is RAC. RAC is a Transparent Application failover. With a physical standby, you need to apply some delay for a failover operation. You can implement the observer that can automate the failover and reduce the time.

  This isn't really the DG broker, but rather the observer you will need to implement. The DG broker automate failover. It will be the observer who "sees" (where its name) that the principal is down and initiate the failover process. To do this, the observer will use the DG broker, so it will be necessary.

  (c) so I understand that where primary breaks down, the existing connections transfer automatically from primary to standby db (most recent primary), but how my web based java application will know that more recent connections must be sent to the standby db Server (more recent primary)?   The DG broker is required to run on the database server. The DG broker will run on the primary and standby. I think that what you're asking really anything is if the observer can run on a PC. Yes it can. However, it is probably not a good idea. A PC will not have the internal hardware redundancy, a server can have. If the PC can fail more often than to a server. And if the gods are bad, it will fail when you most need.

  (e) I was reading about the modes of Protection, account required to our current scenario & infrastructure, I choose 'Maximum availability Mode' instead of 'maximum Performance '.

  Your choice should depend on the amount of data loss is acceptable.

  Oracle integrated security only works on Windows with a MS Failover Cluster. Real DBAs do not have Oracle on MSFC.

  Instances of guard fiirt two data are built. It carries out the second I get this error in the log of all alerts. It seems that it is a certificate error, but I'm having a hard time nailing down.

• What is the best way to switch between the two sets of bookmarks, say 'work' and 'private '?

  I want to use for sets of bookmarks, so that when I'm not working, I'm not distracted by my favorites not work and vice versa. For the last two months, I use two user accounts to achieve, but it's kinda a PITA. Links from other applications like Thunderbird mail are opened in the default profile. In other words, when I'm not at work and I click on a link in an e-mail, a new window opens with the work of my Firefox profile.

  All I need is a thing or an extension to switch quickly sets bookmark. Or a way to switch profiles without having to open a new Firefox window. Any ideas?

  You can not get Firefox works as you explain that you want. The default profile cannot be changed on the fly for the profile you are currently using. This message "Firefox is already running... "returns to cause you or 'something' trying to open a profile 2 (or later), unless -no-remote command has been used to open the additional profile. And -no-remote will not work to open the default profile without causing problems with the way Windows works with "call" the default browser.

  In response to your last statement - "to separate my work and private stuff I just need to change the content of my bookmarks bar, so I was hoping there was a trick to keep groups of favourites."

  This extension will allow you to change the Bookmarks Toolbar folder while you use Firefox.

  I just installed this extension and check that it still works in 35 of Firefox.
  There is a context menu item for 'Set as Bookmarks Toolbar Folder' ' which appears when the Menu Bookmarks menu Bar drop-down is used (not in the library window or the bookmarks bar). This menu item is displayed when you right-click a folder in the folder Menu bookmarks. It does not appear with the folder "Personal bar" or the "Unsorted Bookmarks" - only a folder in the Menu "Favorites".
  Should be 'resolved' eager to have two different settings for the bookmarks toolbar, but the profile default 'thing' is always a problem for what you are trying to accomplish. I don't 'see a fix' for that - without resorting to a 2nd user account window, which is what I thought you were referring to by "I use two user accounts to achieve" in your initial post.
  And because the menu bar is hidden by default, these days, you can use Alt and B to open the bookmarks menu dropdown Bar Menu 'revealed' so you can access this menu "Set as bookmarks toolbar folder" item - without having to show the Menu Bar all the time.

  BTW, using 'accounts' instead of 'Profiles' can be confusing during the review of Firefox profiles.
