Recent update knocked out 5.1 client to access hosts vSphere

Hello

I have 2 hosts managed by vCenter in 5.1.  I had not applied the patches in a few months and decided to update via the Update Manager.

After you apply the patches on 1 host, I found that I could not connect directly from the vSphere client.  Thought it was a fluke, so I applied the patches to the 2nd host this morning and it's the same thing.  Good thing vCenter still works. These are production areas.

Patches/updates that I applied were the following:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this problem or find patch which plunged the connectivity?

The error I get in return (what is now) is:

vSphere Client could not connect to "10.0.0.5.

A unknown connection error has occurred. (The client may not send a request to the server. (La connexion sous-jacente a été fermée: une erreur inattendue s'est produite sur un envoi.))

I studied it in the KB and not to apply the usual steps, they said - I can ping the hosts, both via vCenter access and connect with root.

It is even possible to regularize patches?

It's actually the part 'ESXi' of Ko you want to watch. The other parts are associated with vCenter Server. According to this KB and several articles of MS, there is no patch for the edition of XP 32 - bit, so change the ESXi host is perhaps the only option.

    Update when it is installed has caused Sun Java to stop working (check the number of KB)?

    As you know that all updates that are released by Microsoft are important for your computer I suggest you to download and install the update.

    If you meet him same problem of Java does not I suggest you uninstall Java completely from your computer by using the Windows Cleanup utility and download and install the latest version of Java from the link provided.

    Download the utility, install it and then run and uninstall Java from the machine.

  • Windows Update has knocks out printer

    Acer M3201 with printer Lexmark X 1270, connected to internet through bthomehub willingly works until 6 months ago. Helpdesk contacted several times returned PC triple problem solved. NO.

    Own investigation has printer comms knocked out when it is connected to the internet. Reset computer on day 1, everything has worked. load windows, returned problem updates.

    Grateful for any suggestion

    First of all, I would say that you update all your hardware drivers and check the updates of BIOS Acer.
    Also perform a clean boot and see if the problem persists. If so, the best way to determine the cause or start deleting groups of updates and tests.  Or reset your PC back to factory default and then install a small group of updates and test between the groups.

    Have you tried a forced reboot? Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

    Then sign out of the iTunes Store and reconnect.

    My printer color laserjet (color laserjet pro m252dw) no longer works due to not recognize a black cartridge to third because of a recent update of the firmware. Error given is 'Supply memory error'.

    I already looked to the top of the page of Software Support for this printer, but new and recent firmware update is not released/listed, only the firmware upgrade market is given.

    I'd appreciate advice and instructions on how to return/repair my printer no longer print.

    Can you please advise on which firmware update to install instead to get my printer back in the order of operation?

    According to the other thread that I have commented on the user managed to solve the problem of roll back firmware version 20160331 to 20150716 .  Unfortunetly the user did not comment if the old version of firmware is out so that we can share a simlilar solution.  It may be that this person had a copy archived in offline mode or found another source outside the HP support Web site.

    At least you can get an older version of firmware all the steps that we share for the firmware downgrade won't do you no good.  I'd be careful to search a German site for firmware updates.  HP has put regional locks in place according to international contracts, that they do to market their products in a given region.  Using a German firmware on a printer WE made may have strange side effects on what types of cartridges are allowed.

    What is perhaps a better use of your time would be to contact your 3rd party cartridge company and see if they can send you a cartridge that is compatible with the new firmware.  Chances are that they have seen the same problem with other users and already have a chipset to work around the problem.  In this way, you can stay on the newest firmware and continue to use your favorite too cartridges.

  • Express Mystery ethernet airport knocks out internet

    Up to what a month ago my home network worked perfectly until a fault on the line (which was repaired subsequently by an engineer) seemed high.

    Below is a network card in my home airport network. The top-level TimeCapsule Airport (last generation, 3 TB) connects to a VDSL of TP-Link modem.

    The only difference between my current network configuration and the previous network was that I had hard wired the 2 flat (last generation) airport expresses, KN - AEX and LR - AEX, together via ethernet. LR - AEX (salon) was within the scope of top-level wireless airport TimeCapsule (ATC) and KN - AEX (kitchen) expand my network on a lower floor, which had wireless in view of the thick concrete slab between ground and basement.

    Now, as soon as I connect no matter what 2 Airport Express or combination of TimeCapsule / airport express base station together viaethernet seems to knock out my internet connection.

    Anyone have an idea how I can fix this problem? Is this a bug or a wrong setting? Apple support on chaining Airport Express does not seem as if it's been updated for a while. I can't be the only person who needs to have this kind of game, either

    I reset each express and TimeCapsule to factory settings and started from scratch several times. I built the network an express at the same time. It is only when I connected puts it together that I immediately saw the internet connection down (I also tried multiple ethernet cables that I know to work). I fixed the permissions (which seems to fix the infuriating renaming of my main TimeCapsule ATC (2), (3) ATC, ATC (4) etc. in a seemingly random way).

    I am running on an iMac 27 "10.11.3 end 2013 3.4 GHz Core i5, 16 GB of RAM and the merger of 3 TB drive.

    Below shows what happens when an ethernet cable is connected between an airport express and all TimeCapsule (I tried all to see if one of my base stations was defective).

    4 airports in the above figure are configured to connect to the main ATC using a Wi-Fi connection. (The dotted line means a wireless connection network... an Ethernet connection would display as a solid line)

    From the four lower level airports have all been configured to connect using a Wireless connection... it's the connection that they expect... .wireless.

    If you now connect an Ethernet cable to one of these devices (expect wireless)... This action will create a massive feedback loop which will be in effect, the network crash.

    If you want to connect to an airport using Ethernet... you must start over and reset the airport back to the default settings.

    Then, you establish Ethernet connection before that start to set up the device again.  In this way, the "Wizard" will configure the device to connect via Ethernet, and things will work fine on the network.

    When you have installed iTunes, and you download it from anywhere other than the Apple servers. There is a new version of the 12.3.2.35 installer that came out some time around 23/24, which can solve the problem for you. Download and install on your existing copy.

    The latest version of OpenOffice is 3.3.0. If your own copy is out of date, maybe it's time to get the latest version.

    Install all a test for signs of the back problem, you go. When you have identified the problem update and then use the correct way to remove the update or select Start, Control Panel, programs and features, see installed updates and follow the instructions under uninstall an update.
