Recognition of handwriting in Windows 8
As a doctor I extensively use handwriting recognition. I used Lenovo tablet 201 t per day for 3 years. I just bought Lenovo Helix. Both are high quality computers. The major problems I have with input panel are opening and closing, two lines filling the computer screen and no button remove.
How do you define best opening input panel so that it happens when you put the stylus on the display in the text box is entered?
How can we change the input panel to a single line instead of two lines? It is a feature in windows 7.
How to get a delete button in Input Panel? Arrow and BACKSPACE can be done, but not as effective, also having the button Delete.
Where the preferences or options puts section for input panel?
Hi John,.
I appreciate the efforts that you put to publish the query on this forum.
As you use Lenovo Helix, I suggest you to publish the query on Lenovo community forum for details on how to use it. You can check the link to the request message:
Please let us know if you have more queries on Windows. We will be happy to help you.

I rely on my computer, but am new to this area and have no idea what to do. I don't have a password reset disk. I saw where others have similar experiences, but I don't have a computer other than my phone to download anything. Can someone help me please?

I have a laptop / Tablet Toshiba M700 with Vista Business. Toshiba support told me that Windwos 7 will support my Tablet/handwriting recognition capabilities but not Windows 8. What version of Windows 7 is what I need?
The Tablet features are available in all editions of Windows 7 except the Starter edition. Given that you cannot upgrade Vista to Starter - as far as I know, you need not worry. ;-)
Determine what you need by other factors:
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Comparison_chart
If you have "Vista Business"--> to make a direct upgrade without loss of settings/software installed (for the most part-in any case to make backups - be smart on this topic) you need to get one of the following editions of Windows 7:
Professional, company, full
... and since it is unlikely that you will get a copy of 'Business' for your personal system (hypothesis- but you doesn't look like not you upgrading a bunch of them, nor did the expression to make me think, "IT staff"...) you would need one of these two editions:
Professional or ultimate edition
https://www.Google.com/search?q=%22Windows+7+Professional+Edition%22#q=%22Windows+7+Professional+Edition%22&TBM=shop
The first is probably more than enough. New - Look at the table...
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Comparison_chart
Good luck. Don't forget to download and have ready all your drivers for hardware devices made for Windows 7 by the manufacturer of your computer (Toshiba) and/or manufacturers of individual components to install after having upgraded. Non - Microsoft did not or they take over your hardware somehow - they made the operating system, he returned to write drivers that interface with every operating system they wish their device working properly on the manufacturers material and up to the end user to install in a scenario such as the one you are proposing to us business.

Hi Marios,
Speech recognition does not either with the English language or Greek as the operating system is in Greek.
Speech recognition is available only in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese.

Recognition of text Windows 7 OS API
Hello
I use HP QTP automation tool (formerly Mercury) in my work. I had to use the GetVisibleText and GetTextLocation methods so that our app and it worked very well under Windows XP and earlier, but in Windows 7, it seems that the recognition of text API is no longer supported. It is the statement made on the HP support site.
"Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 do not support the.
Mechanism of recognition of test of Windows API. That is why, when
install this hotfix, the ' use text recognition
mechanisms in this order "option in the Options dialog box
box (Tools > Options > Text Recognition) is set on ' use
only OCR' and cannot be changed (the option is
out of service). »"Use only OCR" option works well for us and I was wondering if there was a way to reactivate the API method, or if there was something I could do to fix the problem.
Thank you

How to display Chinese characters in Windows 7 Home Premium?
I see Chinese characters very well in my browser, but all I see are boxes instead the characters for the programs on my computer (running Windows 7 Home Premium). What I want to know is this: is there a way to display Chinese computers in windows?
Before I am flooded with a bunch of useless answers telling me to install the "language pack", I must repeat: I'm under Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM. Yes, I tried going to Microsoft Updates and download the language pack. Unfortunately, I can't see the link for me to download the language pack, since I am running Home Premium, but in operating systems, the ability to see the other languages has been included. In other words, just because I'm running updated the operating system compared to some of the older operating systems, I don't see another language, unless I pay update.Seriously, Microsoft? Seriously? Also, I have in fact look around here to try to find a solution to my problem. Unfortunately, no one ever really answered it. Because the only problem here seems to be a complete disregard of the user and the will to pull as much money on Windows users unhappy. Windows, that is why your stock is lagging. And why I must say that you are unable to many ways to Apple. But if there is a solution, please, by all means, I'm willing to change my assessment.Sincerely,A frustrated and unhappy Windows user.Well, the answer you don't hear or see is the only solution.
Take or leave.
Note: Multilingual User Interface Pack MUIs are available in Windows 7 ultimate through Windows Update as optional updates. They are not installed automatically. If you are using Windows 7 Enterprise, contact your system administrator for more information about installing additional languages.
Follow the steps mentioned below to get additional languages.
(a) open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, typeUpdate , and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
(b) in the left pane, click check for updates , and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer.
(c) if updates are found, click on Select optional updates.
(d) select the MUI that you want, and then click OK.
(e) click install updates.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

The tutorial of speech recognition to train my voice is not large enough for the engine get good recognition of my voice. I want to put in place a couple random pages of text (like a novel, etc.), and that I dictate the words in the program he would coordinate the words I read with the text I was reading from and type what I read to show how he got trained.
Here is the translation of the above using the voice recognition program.
If this tutorial from speech recognition to train my voice is not a large enough for the motor get a good and recognition of my voice. The foregoing would take a lot of editing, which I already did a large part of. Also if you change the type of microphone that you are using, you could start any training.
I'd be cool if (with headphones), you might get feedback that the program thought you said so that you wouldn't be constantly replay to see if it came out correctly.

I tried to understand where advanced options are, but I'm not. help someone?
You don't say what version of Windows you are using or which device (computer, tablet or phone)? Not knowing, trying to go to the control panel. Click speech recognition. In the window that opens, on the left side, click Advanced speech options. Make sure that the language corresponds to your language and Windows keyboard. The illustration below shows US English.
If the language is correct, try changing the language to something else in the list and click on apply. Restart the computer. Then return to your language, apply and restart.
If the above still does not help, try creating and training a new user profile with a different name than your original profile.
