  I opened a default document in Publisher 2007 (assume the same options are available in 2010). In any case, I found 4 ways to create the PDF file (using AA9 on my machine):

  1. save in pdf - this is an option of MS

  2. publish as PDF - it is an option of MS

  3 PDF Maker - They used the Acrobat PDF Maker option

  4. print to the Adobe PDF - format, it's the standard Adobe PDF printer

  It seems that you are using the MS output to PDF option. In this case, you should probably check the forum editor MS (assuming there is one). If you want to post the ad and pdf files somewhere (like Acrobat.com), we can check further. The fact that you say you use the reader to think that you use Adobe products to create PDF. Generally, I don't think MS to do anything, according to a standard, but there may be some settings in Publisher that you need to pay to get the correct result.   When iCloud library is turned on, your device can optimize its storage keeping smaller versions of your photos on the device. All your original high-resolution is stored in iCloud photo library and can be downloaded at any time.

  Go to settings > iCloud > Photos (or settings > Photos & camera), then click on [device] Optimize storage to activate it.

  When your device needs more storage, it automatically replaces certain original high resolution with optimized versions. If you want to replace the optimized with original life-size versions, press download and keep the originals to activate it.

• Why I'm losing the layer effects when recording in format PDF, JPEG, etc...?

  I'm working on a poster for a school assignment in Photoshop that uses a lot of layer effects for multiple objects, including text. I'll have to save to print to PDF for my teacher, but when I do that I lose a lot of quality and some of my layer effects. I tried to save as JPEG and PNG, but they all do the same thing. I also noticed that I lose the effects when I flatten the layers that the effects are on. I need the effects because I'm giving some objects a metallic appearance. It seems that the effects that I lose are the glow inside and bevel and Emboss.

  Is there something I am doing wrong? It has nothing to do with the compression? Can someone help me understand what goes wrong so that I can save for printing?

  If it was me I would be recording in the format .psd until the end of the project and then saving it to pdf or jpg that these formats are not intended as alternatives to .psd.

  Jpg files don't support layers you will always lose them if you save in this format. PDF, however, should be ok, if configure you it correctly. When you save as pdf, make sure the layers box is checked

  IM using Embedded BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.2 to print a document in PDF format. Once I have print 45 lines on the first page, I have to continue on the page number 2 page break.

  Looks like you used the printer fonts.

  FM, you need to set your default printer to the AdobePDF printer instance (get utility freebie for the Sundorne SetPrint for this).

• CS6 Bridge: Output to PDF not working/Blank

  With the help of Mac Mini: Lion OS.

  Sorry for the confusion 'export' - my brain was operating in indesign.

  Here is what I tried it - I don't have illustrator here at home - so I used my work VPN to connect to a machine that has CS5:

  analysis-

  file was created in Illustrator 5.1 (part of the CS Suite 5.5).

  No spot colors

  file size is 9.6 MB

  no purge on document

  work plan is 4.25 x 6.25

  all objects appear to be vector

  the text outlines is

  I tried to make it work and can have a solution (I made a new file, but it is 11 - probbably too big for e-mail)

  possible solution:

  1 make a new layer and make sure it is the top layer

  Select all the text elements (VEGAN, the address block, all the menu items) move them to the top layer.

  2. turn off that layer

  3. Select all the original layer - go to object > rasterize - in the dialog box that opens - the pixelation CMYK value - 600 dpi - then click OK - this will rasterize the baskground.

  When he finally... back on new layer - save the file under a new name (if you still have your original intact).

  4. your PDF for printer this NEW file.

  I have attached a jpeg image of what it should look like your finished document (assuming that the finished piece is supposed to be 4-1/4 x 6-1/4) he may need to bleed more (top, bottom and right side).

  I have worked with dynamic forms LiveCycle Desinger for a few years now, and this is the first time I see this kind of behavior.

  I have a very big form in LiveCycle Designer. There or 50 subform repeatable sections. I save the designer, and then open it in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Acrobat Pro, whenever I have re-record it then re-open, a new instance is added to each subform repeatable.

  If I fill it, save it, and then reopen it, he has all my info, as well as a subfrom empty additional below each section.

  I have no formcalc in the presave, nor do I have any global fields in my form... In addition, each single repeatable subform named. I am at a loss.

  I found the answer to my problem. I had a devil of a time from Googling the problem, so I'll put some sentences that I tried below, where like-minded individuals has a similar problem.

  The main problem was with data binding. I had left the data binding for all as the default 'using the name (...) '. I was under the impression that as long as the sibling elements have been appointed to the same thing, there is a conflict. I was wrong.

  In my form, I used static subforms to organize the fields available in a dynamic repeatable subform. The static subform called "sf_positioning". It happens that this field has an uncle named the same thing. It was close enough to provoke a conflict, making the repeatable subform record an additional instance whenever the data has been saved. This can be corrected in one of two directions... ((1) set one of the subforms wrongful use "no data binding" (use this only if the content of the subform is not be exported or merged) or 2) give the subforms of unique names.

  I need to look if everything must be particularly well appointed... As I said, it makes more sense to me that the only restriction should have been on the sibling elements, but I will in the future to make sure there are at least three degrees of separation between just like named controls/subforms.

  Hope that helps someone else...

  And what follows is some of my attempts at Googling the problem. I hope that this will facilitate the solution to find for others:

  -Economy adds a new instance of the repeatable subform.

  -Whenever I save, I get more empty instances of a subform repeatable.

• problem recording psd to pdf

  For a few days now, I'm working on a project of photoshop... My PSD file size is 19.8 MB. I was save the file as pdf peridocally and they record than 7 MB... I have today different has been underline some text, now I try to save as pdf and it ends up being 71.4 MB. Anyone know what is happening or what I can to get it repaired? I need to deposit to be less than 25 MB, so I can send by e-mail.

  If you keep the psd that you might turn off"preserve editing capabilities of Photoshop ' which includes essentially the psd in the pdf file.

  In addition you can set the compression of Image quality values slightly lower.

  We do R12.1.1 AP tests. When we run 'Format Payment Instructions' simultaneous program (IBY_FD_PAYMENT_FORMAT), the output is set to PDF. Software according to our third party cheque printing, it can't handle "compressed PDFs. It is the first time I heard "compressed PDFs. Does anyone know of a workaround, given our current configuration?

  PL check the settings under 'Administration-> PDF Output' with responsibility "XML Publisher Administrator. By default the 'compress output PDF' option must be empty (or NOT). It may have been defined Yes in your case, what may cause the problem.

  (1) for the submission of applications (if available), you can set the output format using the Options button (on the article of sompletion):

  (2) in the application report (view-> application) form selecr you want to reprint in the Tools menu select print/republish, in the html page that pops up to select the desired output format, number of copies = 1 mailing
