  There is no part of Windows 7 called "Explorer desktop.  Something you have installed perhaps put it there.

  Left icon when you click on the desktop, and then press the F5 key to refresh?

  The client and server versions are the same. But the values of repository content table "v8_version_attributes" are not the same as in the system of files under the HRinternal\Datasources folder.
